Tomorrow's show is a doozy! Not only that, It's a humdinger and a lulu! Here's Ellen with the details.
This is concerning the letter that Miss Louise Flath, Miss Barb Peining and Miss Jeanine Wood wrote to you....
Hi ladies, first I would like to say that it's nice to see that you girls are so close to each other and for me I call that a treasure.
There's not to many friend in our days that after 20 years that are stillll friends...I find that wonderfull !!! I woudn't mind being your friend...you girls seem realy great !!
In the pass 7 years It as been realy hard on my and my family. First our house had burned twice and just a couple of months ago my brother killed himself and his dear son of 9 years old found him. Wath a nightmare !!! her moter (my sister) was in drugs and still is...had lost full costedy of the 3 kids..so on July 6, 2007 with adopted the kids....but we already had 2 kids ...so now were are 6 in the family. The oldest of 16 years old, didn't what to come with us, cause she was already in drugs...since our house was drug free...she taught if would to hard to adapt. Now we have on of 14, son 13, my niece 11 and my nephew that is now 19. I didn't know it would be that hard...but at lees there are now happy and that is what's count.
I dont know wath happen with my family when I was young but I'm the only one that worked and didn't go to drugs and have a secure family. My mother and my two sister are all on drugs...why ??? my tow sister all lost there children...If I couldn't of taken my other sister two children I would of...but it's their father that has them. I just hope they are ok. My father him...he's got cancer, had an open heart sergery and I'm praying that he still stays for a while...and I have a gay brother which I love from all my heart...but I dont see him to often.
That's why in a time like this...you need friends..and I dont have many...when we, me and my wonderfull husband went to adopt the kids...eveybody were saying that it would distroy our life...but we kept our ears close...even family members were saying that...it was realy hard on me.
We had to build an extention with almost no money, so my father in law of 77 years old and my husband friend help us. My husband had to take 6 weeks off...so now they are taking that money off his pay cheques. I was working but had to stop for a while...due to medical appointments for the kids that we adopted...and there lots...we cant forget that they were raised in a problem family.
My wish is to see Miss Ellen..I've been writhing to her for a long time now...but no respond....I wouldn't mind being her favorit charity...I'm telling the truth...she's, Ellen, had help me when I was realy down....but I have to be their for the family.
I would eccept your offer in a flash ! but again I'm form Canada and probably I wont be consider.
Again you girs are extremely wonderful...
PS. Please dont mind my english, as you must of knowned, I'm french, but trying my best.
May God bless you girls in a very special way...
Love you Ellen,
Sincerely yours,
Monique from NB Canada
I just wanted to send a BIG THANK YOU for having Josiah on your show! I don't understand how AI didn't see the potential in him, I'm so glad you did! I'm ready to buy his single today! Thank you for keeping him in the spotlight!
If you want a very special person, try to get Patrick Henry Hughs that was feature Sund.on Extreme Makerover,Home Edition. He was born without eyes and now at 19 he plays the piano and sings. He is from Louisville.
Hi Ellen,
I've always told my husband that I would love to come and see your show. Everyday at the gym I watch you and you make me laugh. I just found out today that you'll be in Orlando the same time me and my family will be there. How do I get tickets?
Hoping to hear from you soon,
Lori McMillan

Dear Ellen and Fans,
I missed todays show, it is the first show I have missed in over a year. I had a really good reason and I am writing to ask all of you for good thoughts, wishes and prayers.
When Ellen was doing the Superbowl contest I sent 275 letters on behalf of my sister who is a huge Pats fans. In one of the letters I told her that I currently have one brother in Iraq and the other is slated to go.
Just after your monologue my phone rang. It was my Dad. He had just spoken to my brother via computer. The base he is on in Rustamiyah, Iraq was attacked today at about 1:30pm eastern time. The attack started with a car bomb at the front gate. There were mortars fired and guns fired. The building my brother was in was hit by at least one mortar.
I called a news station to see if I could get more information and was told that they usually find out about these attacks a couple of days after the fact, becasue they have to wait for the Department of Defense to release a statement.
My brother is a civilion over there training our military personal how to repair a new vehicle.
My brother got on the computer and used the program Skype to call my Dad, Dad said he sounded shaken and scared.
My family got very lucky today as my brother was unharmed. However the men who were guarding the front gate at the time are men from the unit my brother is over there with. At this point he is in lockdown and has no idea if any of his friends were hurt or lost.
I have always said a prayer every night for our military men and women - I know tonights prayer is going to be extra long. I will also be staying up for a while to try to talk to him myself - I just need to hear his voice.
I am writing this not for sympathy as that is just not my style. But because I believe in what a great person you are and how awesome your fans are. I am hoping that maybe all of you would just for a few seconds today think about our guys and gals who are so far away from home,
I know this makes them feel good. Not just from talking to my brother, but because I have organized Support Our Troops rallys. At them I have taken heat and told I was supporting the war. I disagreed, I was purely there for the troops.
There are two events that took place during these rallys that I will never forget. Young men who were getting ready to ship out took photos to take with them. They told me they planned to share them with other troops so they would know that there were people who believed in them.
The second event made me cry. A Vietnam vet came up to me and thanked me for setting up the rally for our soldiers. He also told me that I would never understand how much it would mean to them.
I am asking the people I believe to be the best fans and the most phenomenal talk show host for just a few seconds of your time tomorrow to think about these guys and gals and think good wishes for them, you can do it in the shower, on the drive to work, when your boss is lecturing you and you want to tune him/her out, in the elevator, while you cook dinner, while you brush and floss your teeth, even when you are just walking out to your car.
Thank you all!
Kelley A Wilson

Could you please tell me in what theme park is the Ellen ride as we are going to Orlando(from New-Brunswick, Canada) at the end of Febuary and I would love to bring him for that? I am also trying to e-mail you and with no success. I would also like to purchase ellen boxers but it seems you only have them in XL and unfortunately Canadian men need smaller.........I am a bit fustrated as a Canadian that i cannot enter your prize draws. Can you please fix that?

Ellen,
I am mesmerized by Josiah Leming's voice. Even my teenage daughter loved his voice. I'm so happy that he was booted off AI before they could change him. Amazing what you did for him!!
Keep up the great work!!
Ellen, you rock! What you did for Josiah Leming was wonderful. I can't explain it but I am just in love that kid!
Keep doin' what you do so well...
Ellen,
I too tried to send an email in regards to your GMC Road Trip but wasn't able to access your email-is that a hint?! I put my letter on your blog for the girls traveling across the county now. What fun. I will reattach my letter just in case, but just so you know my GMC is not as nice, but it does run and we'd have alot of fun, and I really think you'd just love us because I forgot to mention that we love to dance too. Oh yeh- you can boogie when you drive too.
Do you need to have someone cover the oscars this weekend for you? We are your gals. Two of us have fabulous fashion sense and we could bring back a great report! Think about it. But read on please...
Dear Ellen,
We watched your show on Friday and learned that you had chosen the winners of the GMC Acadia Highway to Ellen Roadtrip; four friends who wanted to make the road trip before turning 30. As friends who are definitely “over 30”, we wish them well on their journey and hope that they learn as we have over the years; family, friends, and laughter are the truly important treasures in life.
We feel, however, that we can offer an additional perspective on the road trip of life. We have been friends for almost twenty years and our lives have spanned preschool, playgrounds, divorces, remarriages, graduations, successes, and failures and we have a bond that can only be nurtured over time and through experience. We have bonded over the emotional loss of a loved one , as well as a two hour shopping experience in the shoe department of Nordstrom. In other words, any and everything that life throws in your way. So the answer to your question what would we be celebrating. Just living, laughing, and being friends- Life is really good!
So, Ellen, we have an offer for you. We are willing to finance our own road trip to see you. We even have our own GMC! We will provide our own car, buy our own gas, and pay all for our own expenses. What do we want from you? An opportunity to meet you, and we are asking that you donate the cost of our trip to your favorite charity. We know that you have played an important role in insuring that the displaced victims of Katrina are not forgotten. In fact, we have donated money through your website and one of us has been to Pascagoula, Mississippi through the United Methodist Church and their efforts to rebuild. While there I was so impressed by the generosity of the residents and their graciousness, inviting the volunteers into their FEMA trailers for lunch and offering the use of their bathrooms. Got to love that Southern hospitality!
Bottom line, Ellen, we love your show. We appreciate your ability to make people laugh without laughing at people. Whether it is your interview with the couple who met and married at Wal-Mart, Jenna Bush and her phone call to Dad, or Paris Hilton, you are always honest, forthright, and sincere. We love you!
So, Ellen, please consider our offer.
Sincerely,
Louise Flath
Barb Piening
Jeanine Wood
Hi Ellen! We love your show. Even my son who is 21 months old enjoys clapping and dancing with you.
Ellen we've had a hard few years. At the end of 2005 we found out we were pregnant with our first child. About a week or so later my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He started treatment and a surgery and am happy to report today he is well. My son was born in May of 2006 one week prior to his birth my Mother was hospitalized with pneumonia and found she had small cell lung cancer. She passed away in October. After spending her last 5 months in the hospital. We took the baby up almost each day so he would have pictures and time with his MIMI. Well we've made it though with God's help. It's hard without my Mother, but Ellen I couldn't have done it without God and my wonderful husband. If you'd like to speak with us or maybe send us with you on you Orlando trip it'd be a good break for my husband and I. We have watched your show from hospital rooms and the confort of our livingroom we'd love to see you in person. My husband is stronge and loving. He always puts a smile on my face.

Ellen,
I am in the process of writing a book about good women friends. I am interviewing 100 women with 10 questions in order to organize the book into parts that women are interested in. Would you be interested in being interviewed? Please contact me by e-mail and let me know.
Thanks,
