Hi Ellen,
I love your show so much, I record it everyday, so I can watch it at my leisure. You never fell me, I always have a laugh. Your is the one show I never miss. Stay funny. Love you, Pam.
HI ELLEN,
I AM PUTTING THIS IN CAPS HOPING YOU WILL READ THIS. I THINK OTHER PEOPLE READ THESE THINGS AND THEN IF THEY ARE GOOD YOU READ THEM. ANYWAY I WANTED TO TELL YOU THAT MY 19 YEAR OLD SON JUST LEFT YESTERDAY FOR THE NAVY BOOTCAMP UP IN GREAT LAKES, IL. HE WILL BE THERE FOR 8 WEEKS OF BOOT CAMP AND THEN HE WILL BE IN A-SCHOOL FOR 16 WEEKS. ALOT OF THESE BOYS THAT GIVE THEIR LIVE UP FOR OUR COUNTRY GO UN-NOTICED. HIS NAME IS KYLE ADAMS. HE JUST TURNED 19 AFEW DAYS BEFORE HE LEFT. HE HAS NEVER BEEN AWAY FROM HOME LIKE THIS AND I AM VERY WORRIED ABOUT HIM. I WISH MORE CELEBS. LIKE YOU WOULD GO OUT AND VISIT THESE BOYS AND JUST DISRUPT THE WHOLE ORDER OF BOOTCAMP JUST TO SAY HELLO. I WISH I HAD A WAY TO GO UP THERE AND SEE HIM BUT IM SURE THEY WOULD NOT LET SOMEONE LIKE ME EVEN BEGIN TO BE ABLE TO SEE HIM UNTIL AFTER BOOTCAMP IS OVER IN APRIL. I MAY NOT GET TO GO ANY WAY BECAUSE I AM LIVING ON A FIXED INCOME DUE TO A PARTIAL DISABILITY AND AM RAISING TWINS ALONE AND IT TAKES ALL OF OUR 457.00 EACH MONTH TO PAY THE BILLS. SO ANY WAY I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW THAT MY SON IS ONE OF THE BOYS IN THE NAVY THAT ARE JOINING AND FIGHTING SO THAT WE ALL CAN LIVE IN THIS COUNTRY WITH NO WORRIES. GOD BLESS THE MILITARY MEN AND WOMEN.
LOVE YOU, DONNA

I dont have monotary means but my heart is very big and I have time on my hands. THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU, ANITA FROM TENNESSEE. GO VOLS!!
Hi Ellen!!!
I was watching your show today (2/20/08) and heard the story of how the couple met on the plane. I just wanted to share my story with you. I basically had given up on men and one of my friends talked me into putting an ad on yahoo personals. I did, however, I made sure I was straight forward and did not beat around the bush. My husband answered it and we talked for a while. Because I had met some losers prior to him with the ad I made no plans on meeting him. I did tell him that I was going to sing Karoke with my daughter one night. Because we did establish that we lived in the same neighborhood, he searched for a woman and a child singing Karoke. My stalker turned out to be the love of my life. We were engaged within months and married within a year. If that is not amazaing enough, we tried to have a child, but because of our ages, we had a hard time and was told, even with invitro, we had a 20% chance. Well, as was our meeting, we were meant to have a child. After just one try of invitro, we were blessed with a baby boy. We have had a lot of ups and downs through our life and we stick together, because we were absolutely meant to be.

Is it just me, or did the girls who won the Highway contest sound just like the quadruplets who won America's Funniest Home Videos a few years back when they giggled in unison on todays show. I am sure the video is on youtube. (It is, under top 3 laughing babies) I swear they sound just alike....Ellen....do a side by side of the babies and the girls in Roswell on the show tommorrow!

I am a teacher and recently saw your science show with the cornstarch solids/liquids display. It was the one where the one girl from the audience ran across the vat of cornstarch mixture. I did a small experiment in which they make the ooze in a bowl and played with it. I would love to have more information on how you made such a large vat of it. Thank you. Third grade science teacher. Colleen
Ellen what terrific gift for Josiah. It made my heart melt. This kid is luckier than he thinks with all the exposure. I think he's lucky he's off Idol too. Winning on that show isn't a panacea. They're locked into a contract defining exactly what to sing, wear, say, & pretty much running their entire lives. Josiah seems like a free spirit who would've been very unhappy. He should go home to his family, finish school and start his own independent label. Looks like he already has a great start on the internet and with your gifts.
I have been trying to send an email to Ellen but it does not seem to be working. What email address should I be sending it to??? Thank you.
Love,
One of Ellen's true fans!
Hi, Ellen!
I'm going to take a different approach with this message because I don't think I need to tell you how WONDERFUL you are!! You MUST know it, if you don't, you SHOULD! I LOVE YOUR SHOW....and with that said, I'm going to be so bold as to make a suggestion for a show? I recently quit my 'very good' paying job to stay home with my two small children (don't want to miss these very special years) to pursue a business in "conjunction with them". I call them my business partners/models (smile). As I'm breaking into the business, I'm meeting many other moms who too are pursuing their dreams with their little ones in tow! It's pretty cool...I think. I have an MBA in Marketing and staying home with my 4 and 2 year old is the HARDEST job I've ever had but at the same time, pursuing this business with them in tow is QUITE FUN! It's just hard to find avenues in which to leverage ourselves. How about a show to showcase "stay at home moms" (don't prefer that title) "in business" --Let me know your thoughts! I'd LOVE the opportunity to get my PRODUCTS out there! They say that you are a 'shoe-in' if your business gets mentioned on Oprah but WHO NEEDS OPRAH WHEN WE GOT ELLEN? (smile)
Love ya!

Hi Ellen,
I am fron Kenner, louisiana. I just wanted to say I love the cooler and scotter. Boy what a great invention. I sure could of used one of those for Mardi-Gras. I am looking to get one for the Irish and Italian parade & St. Pat day parade, It will come in handy to transport all the cabbage & potatos in. The traffic on the Fat City rout, you know how everyone walks in the streets before the parade>>>> Well all you need is to add a horn and of corse a helmet, not any helmet but on that holds beers on it with drinking straws. I bet with one of those babys if people see you comming they will get out of your way. But than I would have "MADD" mothers running after me. I am a mother myself of 4, so I would not drink and drive.
But how cool.
My Husband is a Jefferson Parish Sheriff Officer, It would also come in handy to be able to ride down the route and to give all those hard working officers a cold drink. You know how hot it gets down here.
I love you & the show.

The reason the paintings were found in the parked car was that the thief had no Monet to buy Degas to make his VanGogh
Dear Ellen,
Thank-you so much for giving Josiah Leming another chance to shine! Of all the idol auditions we have watched over the years his is the one we will always remember. It broke our hearts to see him have to leave the show. I just have one little request. I was wondering if your show could help him find a place to call home.
Even if it was just for a year while he gets himself going.

I have no idea where to put this. My computer won't let me email you. No idea why. But as for the ant problems, this is what my sister told me:
Put small piles of cornmeal where you see ants. They eat it, take it "home," and can't digest it so it kills them. It may take a
week or so,especially if it rains, but it works & you don't have the worry about pets or small children being harmed!
Hope you get this info and hope it works.
Dearest Ellen,
I Love watching your show! It's a regular thing in my family's daily schedule, we always talk about you. I am young mother of a 10 month old and now I am pregnant again. I just started college, I want to become a teacher for young children. However, I do not have a car. I entered to win the GMC, you don't know how much help that would be for me and my family. I've been trying to get a car for years now, but we never have quite enough money. The fact I have a young child and another on the way, you would think I would of had one already. I take the bus to the grocery store and with a baby, stroller and 15 bags of groceries, it's a big problem you can't imagine. I just Love what you do. I think your quite an amazing woman. I hope you recieve this and take it very seriously. Take good care. Love, Taylor.
Hi Ellen my name is Nikki Thomas I do have an invention I really think is a good one However I am 38 years old my mind is always on overload thinking of how to better my life and help others at the same time I have even written a book but I think I have some dark clouds following me. Anyway I am going to declare that 2008
Will be the best year of my life. Attached is my invention.
Car Diaper
The Car diaper is a design for people who are unable to get there cars to the shop
The car is leaking oil on the drive way or even in the garage The diaper will be disposable easily attachable and detachable this is a product I believe will help with the many different leaks we see daily on driveways until the car owner is able to get their cars fixed The idea is real I just don’t know how to draw.

Hey Ellen, You are HILARIOUS, I love ya, I watch the show religiously. You definately make me laugh, occasionaly cry and give me hope and pride with all you do for people.I look forward to an hour of "feel good" time with your show. I would of loved to be a part of the Highway to Ellen trip, it was too soon. Maybe you should do it again. The ladies are funny, I love their laughs, bet it's a blast. The Acadia is amazing, I've entered to win the one your giving away. I could use a new car, my Explorer has 204,ooo miles on it. My next car will be eco-friendly, unfortunately I have a few more years before I can buy another car. On the bright side, the cars just keep getting cooler. LOL- Sandy
