You should accept Jenna Bush's invitation and get married out in Crawford Yee Haw Texas. Hey reckon Ole George might let you two spend your honeymoon in the Lincoln Bedroom at the White House?
Years ago...about 45 to be exact...I already had three kids...a boy and twin daughters...Some one did the string thing over my wrist...it was a needle on a string...it went for a boy...then a girl...then another girl....and then a boy...I said "No way we are through"..well a few years later I got pregnant again...and it was a boy....I am a believer....
CONGRATS...ON YOUR UPCOMING WEDDING AND THE NEW EMMY YOU WON LAST NIGHT....
I love your show and I especially loved your show for first time pregnant woman.
I wish I were there as you gave out such beautiful gifts and what you did for the woman that was having twin girls at the end out the show touched my heart and brought tears to my eye's.
I am a single pregnant woman ( older) looking for a job, but no companies will hire a pregnant woman. I tried to get tickets to your show but they were impossible to obtain.
I admire what you do for "everyone" and you should be blessed your whole life!
Best wishes,
Laura Lagano
I don't know if this true or not, plus I am not sure if I am permitted to write this but what I heard about the determing of boy or girl is as follows:
If a mother-to-be went to the bathroom for a tiddle, wait for this!! If she piddle straight into the toilet it would be a girl but if she piddled on the seat (that does happen) it would be a boy and if she missed both, she would be having twins, boy and girl. Interesting!! I read that in a book.
Anyway, I suppose it doesn't matter where one piddles because the end result would be a bundle of joy!!

Dear Ellen,
I missed your original show about Ballou High School. When you talked about it today, it made me cry to see the adversity the school has overcome.
I want to donate my piano to the school. I live about 3 hours from D.C. and spent much of my youth in southeast where my great uncle had a home.
I'm moving to Indiana due to the foreclosure of my home. My friend was kind enough to take me and my 4 dogs and 3 cats into her home.
If I had the money, I would send the piano myself, but I can't afford it. Could you possibly arrange for the piano to get to Ballou? It's in good condition, I promise.
Please send me an email to get the piano to Ballou. This is my way of paying it forward.
Love your show! Jeannie
