I just wanted to say that I loved Friday's show with Mike Myers! He seemed very reflective, and it made me admire him even more than I already do.

I just took out my trash.. Yakity Yak .. & Don't come back(deep base voice). Then I thought... I throw that trash bag pretty well.. Just a flick of the rist.. I betcha it was going at least 20 miles an hour! I wonder if I was a professional trash haller! Then I thought.. yeah maybe I was! Then I thought.. Do Trash throwers talk trash?!!! LOL as I laughed to myself! That's a tung twister!!! LOL and kinda funny. TGIF!!!

I waited for the Metro bus yesterday and a crow kept cawing at me and swooping down close to my head trying to pluck out my eyes or get my hair!!! Or both!! I used the pole with the Metro sign as protection. He was very scary. Possibly their was a nest. I told him I wasn't going to harm the baby.. but he was very bold and persistant and so I played the ducking game and surely I thought people driving by were noticing.. witnessing my abuse from this stressed out crow. I had a blue bike helmet and thought maybe he thinks I'm a giant blue jay! They hate blue jays.. their rivals. I was glad when the bus came. It was funny at first but when he came really close to me with such violence and vigilance.. it got pretty scary! I was like.. save me.. WHERES THE BUS??? A police car even drove by... they were probably wondering why I was standing behind the pole.. hopefully they saw the black bird and not just me bending my knees and ducking my head and looking distressed and traumatized.. left, right, up and around.. where is this bird.. I was on guard!!! That bird hanged 10 in the air and then we made eye contact.. so after trying to talk to the crow and explain I wasn't there to harm him or his baby... look listen I don't care about your bird.. well. .. I do.. I love birds.. I love U.. why are you being this way.. look I'm just waiting for the bus.. arn't U getting tired??? Really theirs no need to get this upset!.. can't we be friends??? So after eye contact I decided to yell and he got deer in the headlight look!!! It was pretty funny!! Then the bus came! I felt like an army helicopter came and rescued me from a fighter jet swooping by me relentlessly! It was a weight lifted off of me.

Yesterday was my birthday!!! I picked up my bike and rode home where cars rushed me and about pushed me off the road at the same time I was trying to traverse the narrow bike lane coming upon a huge pot hole in my path... I had to slow and.. wow.. scary.. Its amazing I survived yesterday between the crow and traffic! I think I biked 3 miles! A steep hill almost gave me a coronary!!!.. no not a canary!!.. coronary!!!

I survived the week!!

My daughter and I will be in LA November 8-12 and would love to get tickets to your show. I have tried to do this online, but cannot seem to get the calendar on the website to do what I want! Is there a trick to getting tickets? It is our annual mother /daughter trip and the reason for choosing LA was to go to your show. Hopefully there is a way we can make that happen. Thanks.

Hi Ellen! I love you and how you give gifts away to your audience. You are a loving and kind person. Portia is lucky to have a wonderful, kind, and loving person. I wish I could be there some times to get gifts you give out. Maybe some day I will. I remember you saying one time on tv, "All you have to do is make a wish and it will come true. So right now and for quite a while I wish I could take my family to Disneyland (family vacation). We deserve it. I've been thru alot and I am staying strong thru my troubles. My daughter is graduating from 8th this year and I am proud of her. Her and I went thru alot together. I love you as well as her brother, John. I really would like to meet you in person. I love your show and I love you. I'm so happy for you and Portia and I hope you have a wonderful wedding. I've watched and loved you since your Ellen sitcom days. In fact I still have the final episode on vhs tape!!!!!!!!!!!!
Next time you come to Chicago I hope I can see you. This last time you were here it was the same day that my 16 year old son went to prom. The weather was bad but the prom was beautiful.

Ellen, I have heard good things about the Wii fit. I am over 3oo lbs. and have a hard time getting around. at the dr. office they say that a wii will help just to get a person to move. I am on a tight budget and with gas prices, it is hard to save, but i am trying to save to buy a wii fit to help me in my weight loss. thanks for showing it on your show. it made me decide that i really need it.
