Congratulations on your New Emmy...I was surprised that you did not win both of them...Portia looked so beautiful in the green dress..and of course you looked nice also...I hope you are enjoying your summer break...you are missed...but you deserve the break....Have a wonderful rest of your summer....Looking forward to seeing you in the fall when the new season starts up....

Hi Ellen,

I was watching your show today, 6/20/08; "Mother's Day" (Great Show) and my daughter gave birth to my 2nd grandson on Mother's Day this year, May 11, 2008. I know your gifts are for your audience guests, but I was hoping that my daughter might also receive the same gifts due to her having the baby on Mother's Day! I live in Medford, Oregon and she and her family live in Seattle Washington; which is a long way and I would love for her to receive those wonderful gifts.

I love my daughter so much and she is such a giving and caring person who can never say no when someone needs her help.

I was laid off my job last October and haven't had an income since and can't afford to purchase the items I would like to for my grandchildren.

Grandchildren are truly a blessing and I know she could really use the items; as she is a stay at home mother.

As always, I love watching your show each day and think you are such a generous person! I really like your dancing and making each show so unique.

I remember long time ago in Africa i used to watch your comedy,i found you so funny and i never missed it.Then i came to America last year and found out that you have a tv show which i always watch.You are truly role model to many.You tought me to love my self and never to take people for granted,and also being nice to people wount kill me.May god bless you

Hi. I just watched a re-run of the December 18th 2007 episode of Ellen's show (the one with Carmen Electra on it), and I want to know if anyone can recall the name of the guy who was on the show; the one who lost something like 200 lbs. He is such an inspiration and I want to know where I can find out more about him and his amazing achievement.

Thank you Ellen for being such a bright spot in the day of so many. My girlfriend Teri and I watch your show together when we can. She is a dead ringer for you by the way, especially in her style of movement and personality but strangers on the street stop her everyday to tell her she looks like you. I was moved again by your passion over Iggy. I have been in many similar circumstances with animals all my life, even rescuing starving horses. Sadly enough, I just lost my little 3 legged Shitzu last Saturday when he ran in front of a speeding car that never slowed. I will cry many days for him.... I share your feelings about everything I've ever heard out of your mouth. You amaze me, Ellen. I dream of meeting you one day and having a private conversation with you. Though I know it's highly unlikely because I think you make everyone feel this way, I can still have my fantasy, right ? I am trying to figure out a way to get to NY for your show this month and bring Teri. None-the-less, you will, no doubt continue to amuse and inspire me. A forever fan,

Now here you are with your show and I am a minister again and openly gay. Thank you for your integrity and both the pain and hope that comes from it. Hi, Ellen!

I wrote you about Iggy because I was so interested in the situation but now I just wanted to send a note to tell you how much I enjoy you and your show. I remember seeing you - I think - the first time you were on the Tonight show and have followed and enjoyed you for years as do my husband, children and parents now! We are all animal lovers as well as just plain, nice people!!! I live in York PA and you need to come here and "...spread a little love--today..." York is the most unfriendliest place on earth! We were originally from South Jersey and Phila where everyone treats everyone like family! People in York can look at you and not crack a smile!!! Imagine!

Anyway - I thought you looked great in the heels from Victoria Beckham! I'm not a "dressy" person, but the bag and glasses looked great! You were actually taller than Victoria! She is adorable - really!

Hi Ellen,

I just wanted to say that I think it was awesome for you to call the radio station in Tucson and win that car for someone who needed it. To see someone as busy as yourself take time out of your day to help someone that you don't know is just plain cool. Take it easy and keep doing what you are doing. I enjoy watching your show very much, you make me laugh after having a hard day at work.

Thank you for reading my email. I have watched your show from the beginning. I am having a tough time lately, you are not spending enough time on your guests. perhaps you are trying to squeeze too much in. I love russell crowe. I was hoping you would spend more time talking about his new movie which you said you would review, but he was cut off so we could see a 5 yr. old read your book. I loved when you use to devote more personal time with your guests.
