Ellen and Staff are on summer hiatus/vacation break.Until September 8th.08.When Ellen and Staff do comeback, it will be at the new studio on the lot of Warner Brothers Studios.

I love your show. And congratulations on your Emmy. You and your people deserve it. I know there are a lot of people in this world that need your help more than I do. But I am asking you to help me celebrate my daughters 21st. birthday on July 29th. I spent my whole life with 3 brothers and then when I married, my first 2 children are boys, so as you see when my daughter came around, after 29 years of marriage, I was over whelmed with Joy. These 21 years has gone by so fast, and being that my husband is disabled and on a disability retirement, I can't afford to do anything special for her. What she would like, is to go on a date with Shia Lebouef. I don't have anyway of asking him, but you do. So I thought it would be nice if you could do that for her and me. She is a good young lady, that works hard and doesn't do drugs like many of her friends. I would like to do something special for her, that she would remember for a long time. She did something special for me on my birthday when she was in middle school that I will never forget. She played the flute, in first chair, and at a cafe concert she played my favorite song that Celine Dion and Andre Bocceli sings. I cried and will never forget it. So I would like to do something nice for her. She is beautiful and I know Shia would like a date with her. Anyway! What ever you can do I sure would appreciate it. Thanks Ellen!

WE ARE 4 SIBLINGS AND WE LIVE WITH OUR DAD ( MOM AND DAD HAVE BEEN DIVORCED FOR 6 YRS). MY FATHER WORKS AS A CLERK AND WE HAVE BEEN IN HUGE MONEY PROBLEMS EVERSINCE WE HAD BUILT OUR HOUSE . BARELY 2 YRS LATER WE HAD SOLD THE HOUSE TO REPAY LOANS BUT STILL WE ARE IN TROUBLE . MY ELDER SIS IS DOING HER MSC , I'M DOING BSC AND MY YOUNGER BROTHER AND SIS ARE PLANNING TO DO ENGINEERING .BUT MY DAD IS NOT IN A POSITION TO PAY THE FEES OF ANY ONE OF US EITHER. EVERYDAY THERE ABOUT 15 CALLS AND 2 TO 3 PEOPLE VISITING OUR HOME (RENTED) TO ASK US TO REPAY THE LOANS . DAD'S REALLY CONFUSED... SO ARE WE . WE ALSO HAVE A DOG - QUEENY WHOM WE LOVE SSSOOOOOOOO MUCH BUT DAD'S TELLING THAT HE WOULD GIVE IT AWAY TO HIS FRIENDS BECAUSE HE CAN NO LONGER LOOK AFTER IT ........ ..WE NEED 12 LAKH RUPEES ......... I FEEL ASHAMED TO DO THIS BUT WHEN I SEE YOU GIVING AWAY SO MANY GIFTS TO PEOPLE I JUST THOUGHT OF TRYING ONCE . You are an incredible person, with a fantastic, healthy humor, you have the best aura and a charming and most winning charisma, that a human being can have. There is NO OTHER host on American TV, like you! Some of your American colleagues are way to "strong" and "stressful" for European, if you know what I mean.
Well, it's simply fun to watch you and I hope that you keep on doing what you do! Please make hundreds of more great, fun, entertaining shows, that we'll also get to watch here in Asia, or anywhere else around the world.

hi ellen, first i must say i love you and i enojy watching your show with my four year old daughter who enjoy your dancing and she sometime question if you are a male or female..i would say to her your are a lady...lol..congratulation!!!!!you have one of the most relaxing and enjoyable talk show..im from st. Kitts, a very small island in the caribbean. If you have to look for it on the map..it would be just a dot but its lovely here...very hot all year around...i love you

Congratulations on your Emmy. I too believe that a cooking show does not belong in the Talk SHow category. They need to initiate cooking shows as a separate category. But it was nice of you to be so gracious about their blooper.

I actually thought you wouldn't win any of those two awards host&talkshow. So, I was taken aback when you won the host..so, well done on that one!!
As for the talkshow award..I am really chuffed the cooking woman won..why because I adore cooking, I adore scrambled eggs on toast with a hint of salmon.
So whats that 4 Emmys..its going down..I can't remember what the tally was for last year. I think you need to hire more writers and get rid of those fluffy celebs but then again that will make you step out of your comfort zone.
It was rather tricky Season V. The last show I watched was, I think early November last year. I have enjoyed your website though except for the adverts and the gush and slush.

Ellen congrats on the Emmy, however, you got robbed from the best talk show category... how do you lose to a chef, thats not a talk show! Anyway, knowing you, you were very gracious and humble about it and it was nice to see you in pictures with Rachael Ray, even though I didn't think she should of won. That was the upset of the entire evening I thought. I was pissed... but the thing is, you and Portia looks stunning and that ring of hers is B-E-A-tiful! Where was yours? Anyway, congrats and I'm so sorry you didn't win best talk show. It is the best and I am still in shock you didnt win, but its okay... it was a rough year this year and I think it had to do with the strike unfortunately. Very unfortunate. But you had to do what you had to do and you did the right thing and kept your staff employed and stayed obligated to your contract and even though it was hard, you still produced a great show. You should be proud of yourself. Love ya Ellen and Portia and the TEDS staff! Thank you for being so loyal to your fans!

Last night on the Daytime Emmys.The Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show was a snub because the show did not stop production when the writers(WGA Strike)went out on strike.Ellen did not want to disappoint her fans.
Fans come from all around the country and the world,to see Ellen.Fans who made plans(Hotel and Airline reservations)before the strike,why should the fans be punshed, by going out on strike?
Ellen appreciates all her fans,and we fans appreciate and love Ellen.
That's all I got to say about this.
