My Mom has been in the ICU for 26 days now...first with pneumonia and then a procedure gone wrong caused her caused her to have a severe stroke. She is unable to move her right side, swallow, or talk and we are praying for improvement. She has never been much for tv, but I put your show on daily in her room and she is mesmerized through the whole show. Can you say "Hello" one day or mail us a letter and photo to put on her stand. Hi Ellen, I love your show. You are the best, because you are the same all the time. I love when you start dancing. You have a great personality. That commerical is cute with beyonce, have my people call your people, real cute. I am a 50 yr. old black woman in a small town of about 3000. I try and win sweepstakes and contest all the time. It's 2 things I wish you would help me with and if you don't I still love ya anyway. All of my hair is gone in the top and I am on a fix income, can you help me with this. I am so tired of wearing wigs all the time and a makeover. I do not like the way I look. I don't have a pic. browser on my computer. Keep up the good work and May god bless you the staff. Hey Ellen,
I really enjoy watching you every day and as the commercials say, "YOU are the highlight of my day". I tape your shows everyday. I have to start every morning and tape the whole CBS showing but I even fast forward to the 12:00 news to see what the highlights are for the day.
I tried to win a TV when you were giving them away for your 50th birthday and for the superbowl. My TVS are all analog. I just cant see throwing something away and buying new if it is still working. HOWEVER, I WOULD CERTAINLY REPLACED THE OLD HUNK OF JUCKS IF I WON NEW ONES.
Anyway whether I win something or not, I will continue to watch you faithfully and wish you the best of luck in ALL of your new adventures.

I have two comments for you. I really enjoyed the acappela group that you had on the other week. If you really enjoy that kind of music, please consider checking out a group called "Five O'Clock Shadow" out of the Boston area. They are wonderful. Most acappela groups I've seen have 6 or 7 members. They have 5. One member can do both the bass and drum lines at the same time. I'm sure you can imagine how difficult that would be. They have a website, and have done the national anthem for the Red Sox and the Patriots, so you know they must be good!

The second comment....I agree with you that Jason (the Bachelorette) is a doll. If Deanna does not choose him, you should work your magic and make him the next bachelor. I know from personal experience how hard it is to find someone when you are a single parent. It would be great to see someone who really NEEDED the help on a show like that. Every bachelor and bachelorette thus far has been good looking, smart, funny, nice and seemingly near perfect. I have a hard time believing that they REALLY need help finding a significant other. Single parents have it much harder than the average person. Let's give him a shot!

I'VE WATCHED YOU'RE SHOW SINCE IT WAS ON LATE AT NIGHT AND HAVE ALWAYS ENJOYED IT!
HERE'S WHAT I NEED FOR A PRIZE, HELP WITH A NEW ROOF.I AM DISABLED AND AM ON A LIMITED INCOME. IN MARCH, I HAD WRITTEN MY MOTHER A LETTER TELLING HER I HAD BEEN MOLESTED WHEN I WAS A CHILD BY A OLD MAN WHO RAN A PAYLAKE UP THE ROAD FROM OUR HOME. I ALSO HAD BEEN MOLESTED BY ONE OF MY BROTHERS. I COULD NOT TELL HER THIS IN PERSON WITHOUT CRYING SO I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE BETTER TO WRITE HER AND TELL HER IN THE LETTER.
I CALLED MY MOTHER TO LET HER KNOW THE LETTER WAS COMING SO IT WOULDN'T BE A TOTAL SHOCK TO HER BUT IT BACKED FIRED. ONE OF MY OTHER BROTHERS LIVE WITH HER AND HAD GOTTEN THE LETTER. SHE DIDN'T GET TO READ THE LETTER TILL HERE RECENTLY BUT SHE WAS WORRIED IT WAS ABOUT MY NEICE.
THE BROTHER THAT MOLESTED ME HAD DIED IN MARCH 2007 BUT IT HAD BEEN BOTHRING ME ALOT AND I FELT MOM SHOULD KNOW. I WAS THE ONLY GIRL WITH FOUR BROTHERS, THE MIDDLE CHILD. ELLEN, THE ONLY THING MY MOTHER COULD TELL ME WAS I NEEDED TO WATCH WHAT I SAID THAT I WAS UPSETTING THE BOYS! NOTHING ABOUT SHE WAS SORRY IT HAPPENED TO ME OR THAT I FELT I COULD NOT COME AND TELL THEM. NOW MY MOTHER DOES NOT WANT ME OUT TO HER HOUSE, CALLING OUT THERE, SHE SAID SHE DIDN'T WANT TO HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH ME. I TRY NOT TO THINK ABOUT IT, IT BRINGS TEARS TO MY EYES EVERYTIME I THINK ABOUT IT. I HAVEN'T TALKED TO MY MOTHER FOR 3 MONTHS. THE HOUSE I LIVE IN BELONGS TO MY YOUNGEST BROTHER, SHE SAID SHE WOULD HAVE HIM KICK MY OUT OF HERE AND HE HAS. WHICH BRINGS ME TO NEEDING HELP WITH A ROOF.
MY HUSBANDS FATHER HAS A HOUSE THAT WE CAN HAVE BUT NEEDS WORK. IF WE DO THE WORK OURSELFS THE MATERIAL FOR THE ROOF WILL RUN $3,500.00. THE PICTURE WINDOW AND TWO BEDROOM WINDOWS ARE BROKEN OUT TO. IT WOULD REALLY BE A GREAT PRIZE IF YOU COULD HELP US WITH THIS.
