I know that this Dee topic is getting old... but I can't help it! I would love to ask this Dee chick... Do you think that YOU are going to make it into heaven by going out and seeking drama and going out of your way to insult great people? Whether you believe in homosexuality or not, does YOUR God condone hate or judgement? When was the last time you used your own money to help rebuild a community, or help out a suffering child or animal? If I am not mistaken, Ellen does that just about every day, and the God I believe in puts a little more importance on those things then who she chooses as her partner. Maybe you need to read up on that and then get back to us. And while you're at it, learn how to spell.
I just read Dee's comment and it makes me sick to my stomach. I myself am not a strong believer in religion and for someone to come out and say the words that she did makes me hate religion even more. She has no right to say what she did and I hope she realizes someday that she was wrong to say that to Ellen. We are all equals!!!
Hi Ellen. Really quick I have to say this one thing to Dee. When did Jesus ever condemn homosexuals? If he did, it never made it into any of the gospels. If it was that important, if he was that hung up on it, I think he would have made sure it got in there somehow. He was too busy telling people to love one another, ahem.
Why go out of your way to express hate?
Also, Ellen, you do more good for the world than most Christians out there.
Hi Ellen love you, love your show. I was reading comments and came across the comment from Dee, wow, there is alot of hate in her comment. For someone to speak of God she is not Godly at all. Dee,all sins are equal in the eyes of the lord. You need to seek forgiveness for passing judgement against another. Are you sin free? I would think not, hate is a very powerful sin. Read your bible to see what happened to the soul with hate in his heart. Stop passing judgement of others and seek to fix the bitterness you have within your soul you will be a much happier person.

Dee sometimes when we open our mouth is shows how truly dumb we are ! well you get the prize for stupidity.... People who are gay will get into heaven havent you heard there are priests and even rabbis that are gay(shhh dont tell anyone)and they will also be welcomed into heaven just as ellen and all the other gay people in the world!so unless you dont want to be with us in heaven someday keep spewing your hate ! there is a place for you (may be a little hot) but there is a place .

To Ellen: I love you and everything you portray on TV. My mom saw a bit of your older stand-up the other day and said "Wow Ellen was so pretty!" Well, I think you still look great in a very cool and sophisticated sort of way. And Portia's pretty too! My sister's a nurse and when she was in school doing her clinicals at nursing homes, she would turn on the TV for her patients. And when she asked them what they wanted to watch, they'd say "Ellen" =) I think that's great. In fact, I think everybody of all age groups like to watch you. I think that's because you're so real, and just genuinely concerned about doing a great show and sharing yourself with your audience. I truly think that you have made being genuinely nice seriously cool. Part of that has to do with how happy and comfortable in your own shoes you appear to be. Which is one of the greatest things one will ever learn.

Please do not pay any attention to that Dee person Obviously she is a person with limited intellegence. She must have her head stuck in the sand.
I myself have a husband and 3 great kids. If any one of them came to me and told they were lesbians I would love them no less and would not want anyone to speak to them in the way that Dee did.
This is an age of understanding and love. There is not room for discrimination in this day and age. Have a great year.

I think your sickening pictures of you and your lover should be kept private, I don't particulaly enjoy seeing 2 women kiss.. and getting married. yeah right. sick, sick, sick.. get a life, I don't care if your rich and famous, all you money won't buy you a trip to heaven being gay. ugh.
It's too bad your a lesbian, as I tried watching your show and your funny, but you truly make me sick when I think of you being with a woman, so I don't watch you.. and yes, I know who cares, just expressing my opinion. I know your not alone.. but one day you will be so sorry for not making it into heaven.. is she worth it?.......I'd rather be living without than to be living with the same sex partner. I'll keep you in my prayers, maybe you'll become a better person in God's eyes, but not as a lesbian. Dee
I sent Ellen two bracelets I handcrafted for a "Make-a-Wish" dinner-auction being held here in New Jersey after I read about her hosting duties in Chicago on May 3rd. They were mailed at the end of April.
Never even received an acknowledgement from a staff member that the bracelets arrived -- needless to say, I am very disappointed - I thought that the fans were a bit more important than that.

Awesome show with expectant mothers! I, too am a first time expectant mother - 5 months along. Thanks for recognizing the expectant ones!! I've heard "almost mother" too many times. This was a great nod to the process of becoming a mother. Thanks for all you do and all you recognize...from one who knows - that stuff was MUCH needed! Thanks Thanks and more Thanks to your awesome nature.
