I have sent you an e-mail before, but I know you have alot of them to answer so I'm hoping you will see mine soon! I would love to have a dependable vehicle. My little car is ok, but it has it's problem's. It is an older model and I have to keep putting money into it to keep from having to use my feet. I've been on foot before and it get's pretty rough on a person. It sure would be nice if you could win a car for me and my family. I live on a fixed income and there is know possible way I could ever buy another car. Please win me and my family a new car!

I am a 23 year old college student in need of wheels! I had a car that I depended on, but I let my friend use my car for his driving test. On the way home from passing the test he crashed my car! Now I have to carpool to school, study for my 15 unit in my non AC or heater home instead of driving to Starbucks, and can't drive to the gym that is about 8 miles away. Can you help me, Ellen? Please!

I guess I'll start by telling you how great your show is. You do such nice things for so many people. My Dad was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer 6 months ago. He has neuropathy in his hands and feet and has a hard time writing and walking, I love my dad so much and hate to see him suffer so bad. The worst part is he never smoked in his life. They feel it might have come from him being a truck driver and all the fumes. He is the best Dad in the world. He never complains and he has the best positive attitude about it all. I know he is putting on a front for us because we don't know how long he has at stage 4. I would love to be able to give my Dad a new car that would be good on gas since he has to travel about 45 minutes one way for his Chemo reatments. If this is a contest to win a new car, Please enter my Dad. His name is John (Jack) Cogswell and he lives in Kingston, N.Y.

I have been in three head-on car crashes since 1993 so my family believes I DON'T need a car, but seriously I do. (Only one of those could I have possibly prevented, the others were not my fault at all). You know I may need to go to the store, go see my friends, maybe drive to see Ellen one day. See I do need a car. :O)

I just wanted to start out by saying that you are an amazing person! You inspire me to go out and get what I dream for! Well I am... I will be starting college soon in Miami for Culinary Arts! My family only has one car... My dad works out of town so he has a company truck.. But he can't use it for personal errands when he is home for the weekend. My mom works full time for a Private Investigating company and my 16 year old sister is in High School. Every morning I have to take my mom to work which is about 10 miles from the house and then when I get home I have to take my sister to school. I then have to pick my sister up from school at 2:45. At 5:00 I have to pick my mom up from work. We burn so much gas a week that it is very hard to make a living. We don't have enough money to get another car for the family. I can use the car to come home on the weekends during school to see my family also.
If you can Ellen please Help us! I would greatly appreciate it! If you can't it is ok! I understand!

we are in great need of a new, or good running car with air. we live in bakersfiled, ca it is like the desert. we have a 94' pontiac, no air condition for 2and 1/2 years. we have to go to the doctors in torrance, ca every other months and sometimes more often. we are on fixed income. i also have custdy of my five year old grandson, my live partern of 19yrs. has a lot of medical problems. in the summer we rent cars to go to torrance.ca. becuse it is just to hot, we leave at 4am. just to beat the heat and trffaic, but coming home is a nightmare. with gas the way it is it would be nice not to worry about the renting of the car and the gas. if there is anything you could do or anyone that would like to donate a car. this would be the most gratfull place to be.

i've been enjoying your show for years.......
congratulations on your success.

Your generosity is so inspiring.

I've been hanging on to 2 old cars......a 1985 toyota and a 1997 kia (which i got when my ex died -now that's a story in itself)..........i figure it's cheaper than one new car these days (ins.-reg-taxes, etc.)
and i can always fix one while driving the other......but i dont trust either one to drive on any big outing. (and since both of my daughters live overseas, i have an extra car when they come to visit (is that a good reason to hang on to 2 old jalopies? - and with my grandchildren, i need at least seating for 7.) but those cars guzzle too much gas, especially these days. oiy!

o.k. i'm just goin on an on here......bottom line, i'm entering the contest ;-))

good luck to you on the move to the new studios and keep up your good work (speaking of which, oh that's a whole other story...and not really for public consumption.)
