Hey, just watched your show on your 50th Birthday and I want to say you sure do not look that old. I will be 49 in November and I am not holding my age like that. Anyway, I watch your show everyday and would LOVE to be there in person. I have never been to a live tv show and be very happy if I could be on your show, and even happier to win a car on your show! Just an old country boy from Kentucky that would be thrilled as a hog at a troft to meet you in person.
Ellen,
Me and my grandaughter dance with you everyday! We love you, Happy Happy Birthday. A car would be great, yeah! Luv, hugs, kisses and best wishes.

To Rachael Cornett-I understand how you feel. There is so many things I see on tv and know I will never have any of it, never even see it. I cried when I saw the house next to Ellen's getting smashed-I live in a toxic trailer, in a toxic area and I'm disabled. As the years count away, so does my chances of ever having a safe place or a good car. I get my hopes up about the cars, and my pc is shot, and I'll never be able to replace anything. But you know what-a couple of weeks ago I saw a car at a lot and I could get in it easily, and when my wheelchair time comes, it would fit in there too. I applied for a loan to buy it knowing that I would be turned down because of my whopping $6000 a year SSD. I test drove that car and I felt confident and strong and capable and young. I keep hoping that the comfy Chevy HHR will be in my driveway and it never is. But, every time I feel like there has to be something better in life for me, I learn of something worse happening to someone else. There is a baby girl with a rare disease, her name is Haley Goranflo and she and her brother both have Batton Disease. They raised some money to fly her from Louisville, Ky. to Canada for the connecting flight to China-that's the only place a doctor treats the disease. Canada turned her down and made them go back to Louisville. Time and life ticking down on those two babies. And even though I have nothing and loosing more-they are loosing chance to live. I have emailed everyone in Nascar, Dr. Phil, all the Louisville tv stations, people on CNN. I don't think I'll ever know if anyone paid attention to that, but my heart knows, and God knows and now you know.
I sure hope things get easier for you, and all of us poor folks. And I hope the nightmares in our awake lives stop traveling over to our sleep hours. Good luck, and know you have someone in cyberspace that understands the things that just make you scratch your head.
Diane

Ellen,
I am writing this to tell you about a wonderful lady here in Alabama named Tammy West. She goes out of her way to help others when she has very little herself. She is disabled and has to go back and forth to Drs so much that it has completely killed her car and on disability she cannot afford another one. I was wondering if there is anything that you or your friends or viewers might be able to do for her. She is a great person. She and her family cannot even get to church like they want to. Please help this family.
Hi! Ellen. Please let us in and see all of your wedding plans. I have watched you for a long time put Oprah and Kelly on the back burner you are the perkiest, funniest beautifull talk show host above all others,I think,. I watched your baby shower with all the moms-to-be and thought what a caring and special person you are not that they could not afford their nursery and other needs but you did them a beautifull thing thst they will never forget. My youngest daughter is also pregnant due Nov. 4th,2008 and my son's fiance is also pregnant and due around Jan 4th ,2009 , I am excited to have 2 more grandchildren born into my family and you have given me some great ideas and costs for nurserys and cars and outings. It is the diapers and formula I am going to try and help them with especially my sons fiance because she had a rough childhood is only 20 and has had to go apply for medicare,we are still waiting to see if she is eligable. Please pray for us and as you know babies are very precious but also very expensive. Thank You Ellen, Jeanine Frost

Hey Ellen,
I don't have anything bad to say about you.
I think you are a wonderful person and you show is such an enjoyment to watch. I can see why you show is better than oprah's. lol
Anyway, I wish I could be one of your tv listeners to win a car. My daughter is diabetic, obese and has high blood pressure and the costs are up there.I have never had a new car.
The only thing I would want more is a WII for my daughter so she could do the WII fit. I heard it really does help you loose weight.
Well,
Keep on dancing
