Hello my name is Nicole Furraitti and I live in Akron Ohio. I don't like to ask for things but I really need this. I am 21 years old and my sister is 19 and last year in September, my dad got sick and was diagnosed with lung cancer and passed away November 5th, at 39 years old, just 2 months later. After my dad passed away my car was in his name so I couldn't drive it and my sister ended up getting married 2 months after he passed away thinking it was the right thing but now she is going through a divorce and we are sharing my grandmas car that we have been borrowing for a year. My grandma does anything and everything for my sister and I and I would love to give her car back to her. My sister and I are still currently living at my dads and the house is about to be foreclosed because I could not afford the payments. I don't mind, I am ready to move into a different place but I need to get a full time job but I can't get a full time job around my house so I need a car to get a better job and start going back to school because it is impossible for me to go to work and school and have my sister go to work also with just one car. This would help me so much!

Hi Ellen, my name is Alejandrina i am 12 years old i have one brother that is 8 years old and a sister that is 14 years old,my moms name is elena she has been a single mom for about 6 years now with no childsupport.My mom doesnt have a job right now because she works for the school districts and didnt get the job to work during the summer,MY mom got behind on our morgage because in march she lost her second job as a tutor.Our house got into forcloser and my mom doesnt have money to save our house,she owes close to $4,000 on our house.My mom has been trying her best to make sure my my sister,brother,and me have a roof over our heads,food to eat,and cloths to wear.my dad abandoned my family when i was 6 years old from that day he has never gave my mom a penny to support us. in october of 06 my family and i where in a roll over accident on our way home from tucson we are all okay thanks to the lord. we lost our car when we had our accident.If you can help us get caught up on our home my family and i would greatly appreciate it thank you and God bless you. from alejandrina

First off I'd like to say what an amazing person you are!! You are such and inspiration to me and to my sister Alicia, for whom Im writing this letter about today.
For years, I have been hearing my sister (Alicia) go on about what a wonderful person you are and how much respect she has for you and for what you do. She is totally amazed with what you do for so many ppl like herself! Which is why I'm writing this letter to you today.
Alicia is a single mother of two girls. She has an "ok" job but unfortunatly, it's not enough.
Her house is starting to fall apart and she never has enough money for groceries after paying her bills. She has tried getting on food stamps and to her belief, she did not qualify because she made a whole $7.00 a month too much!
I KNOW that she often goes to bed hungary. She has once told me that as long as her kids are fed that's all that matters.
She has almost had her house forclose on her because she got so behind on payments because one christmas she decided to give her kids a Christmas that they have never had before. She had a hard time catching up on her payments but fortunatly she got a good tax return that helped her get caught up.
So her kids always come first to her and that's what I love about her. She is a wonderful mother!!
I am a married mother of 4 kids and I dont know how she does it sometimes.
So the last time I was at her house she was watching your program and crying her eyes out because you gave some man in need a new car. So I thought why not!!!.... I'll write you a letter and maybe someday those tears will be for her.

Currently, I am working on earning my Gold Award, the highest award in Girl Scouts. Starting soon we will sell cookies. I was wondering if you would like to buy any. Cookies this year are $3.50 box and there are six different kinds of cookies.
I am proud to be a part of such an active Girl Scout Troop. Last year we raised enough money to go to Savannah,Ga to see the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace. Juliette Low is the founder of Girl Scouts.My troop is raising money now to go to camp. If you able to buy cookies or contribute, we would greatly appreciate it. Not only does buying cookies help our troop, but it would benefit girls from the Southwestern Ohio area.

Bianca is a sweet 19 year old African American who I believe is going through very emotional experiences due to circumstances beyond her control. She has completed high school and would very much like to have a college education but her parents are not in the position to pay for her tuition and boarding.
