On Monday, Ellen welcomed several members of Long Island’s “Rescue Ink.” These scary-looking angels spend all their free time rescuing animals in trouble and helping animal lovers in need. To help out, Ellen gave them $10,000 in Halo products and another $5,000 for additional rescue equipment. When It's On

Thanks Ellen for having Rescue Ink on your show. I would love to work with an organization that rescues abused or neglected animals. What a wonderful way to fullfill your purpose in life. I know it would be hard work, long hours, and horrible situations to experience. Not only doing what you love but making a contribution to animal welfare and the evolution of the animal kingdom. The world would be a better place if each human being recognized the gift of each animal's life. Seeing and hearing people like Rescie Ink on your show gives me hope of fullfilling my dream too.
