My name is Rebecca Greenspan, I am 12 years old and I live in Wellington Fl. Recently with the economy the way it is people here in Fl are losing their homes and their pets. My friends and I are volunteering our time to go door to door and collect dog food, toys, towels, beds and anything else we can to help the shelters in the area that are overloaded with dogs that people can no longer keep. It is very sad and heartbreaking for us. We have two rescues of our own and love them to death. Can you donate anything to help us. We would really appreciate this and so would these beautiful dogs. I regularly watch your show. I watched your show the other day. I saw the footage of the koala which is so beautiful to watch. I am from South Australia. I really feel for all the people who have lost their lives, along with widlife & other animals & people who lost their houses in the Victorian fires.
On the same show there was a guest who is a veterinarian who gives alot of time to helping animals including wildlife as well as domestic pets. I think what he does is awesome. Then you presented him with a lot of pet food. I thought that was so kind of you & also it went to such a deserving person.

I'm seventeen years old and love Rescue Ink. I especially love these guys because people are often put off by my clothes, nose ring, and even my weight. They don't believe me when I tell them I'm a vegetarian or that I volunteer every other Saturday at an adoption center.

What these guys do is awesome and I really hope that I can one day make the huge impact that they are making.

The Rescueink guys got right to the sore spot in my heart. I wish we had a group like these wonderful guys to help me with all of the abused, neglected, starving, etc. dogs and cats on all of the indian reservations here in So. Cal. Maybe something would finally get going to help some of these pitiful nelected animals that haven't died yet from starvation, lack of water, nelect, etc. It's a terrible situation with very little help from the humane societies.

I would like to see and assist in getting Rescue Ink to branch out across the continent to Europe, Asia, Australia & Africa. Yall guys are so awsome!! my friend is a member of the Humane Society and she just this week got a card of a dog named loco that got his eyes gouged out by an unknow owner!! HOW CAN PEOPLE DO THAT TO AN SWEET LOVING ANIMAL ITS SICK my jack russell just and puppies with a Rat terrier they call them the broutherhood breeds (for thoes who didnt know) and i love them to death I WOULD NEVER AND COULD NEVER THINK ABOUT HURTING THEM!!! As a volunteer/foster for my local Humane Society, I see the worst and best of human nature and the Rescue Ink guys are in the best! Thank you and I thank them for all you do with the resources you have. I also am a Pledge Partner for the HSUS and donate to the ASPCA and my local rescues when I can, but I wish I could see all the need wiped out in my lifetime. Maybe with your help.......anyway, now I'm signed up with Rescue Ink as a volunteer and I also advocate and sign all petitions and laws for animal welfares, spreading the word even more.

I just saw RescueInk, they do a great job, we need more like them, I am also the Animal Cruelty Investigator for the Humane Society of Sandusky County out of Fremont, Ohio I have alot of calls per day, and I do this for very little pay, it just feels good to be able to help defenceless animals, I have taken alot of owners to court and have won all cases thus far, the courts here are getting much better at prosecuting the law breakers that treat their animals poorly.
When you see someone being cruel to a animal or you know that a person is not watering or feeding, or they have no shelter or the tether is to short or tight,or the animal looks sick, don,t think about it, call your local animal shelter they will send someone out to check it out, or call 911, they can help also.
Here in Sandusky County, Ohio I work very close with Law Enforcment, Prosecutors office and Dog Warden.
So help a animal they can't help themselves.

Hi, Ellen. I was watching your show today and you had "Rescue Inc" as guests. I wrote to them about a puppy mill (the largest in my state, Minnesota) that is close to me. I e-mailed Oprah and have heard nothing, I don't expect the same of you. I think that more of these places should be exposed! She has over 1000 dogs down there! Anyway, the other reason I was writing you was to comment on your ownership of Halo. I checked out the website and the food looks GREAT!!! I love animals, especially dogs, (I have 12 in my house!) and do not feed the cheap foods with fillers. I feed Solid Gold, I believe it originates from California. Really good food--no fillers, etc. AND affordable! I noticed that this Halo dog food only comes in 10 pound bags and it is so expensive. The average people can not afford to buy all the "good" dog foods. I think that this is such an unfair "racket" that floods the market. So, as the owner of this company, can't you do something about this? So, in essence, the average family that wants to have pets has to feed them the garbage, cheap food which leads to their dogs leading a less healthy life and a shorter life? How fair is this?! hi ellen, i am contacting you with an upcomming idea for a show or even hoping you can help out some how with reasearch for MS. This seems to be one illness that is overlooked. My husband of 3 years has had it now for 10 and alot of people i know latley are being diagonsed with it. They need to realize that this doesen't mean a death sentence or that you will automatically be in a wheelchair. However, there are many different stages of MS some are mild , some are severe. Please do a show on this touchy topic that is forgotten. I sometimes forget my husband has this until he has an eposoide. he has had 2 bad ones and 1 mild one since we are married and no matter what i will stick by his side. please help to have some type of reasearch fund going, if anyone can reach out to people for support, I know you can!!! I watch your show from Queensland Australia, I've moved here from USA 10 years ago and REALLY LOVE what your doing Rescue Ink because when I lived in the US. I was a laborador breeder but stopped after finding there were too many abused animals in the world already. I did rescue quite a few dogs from abused homes myself and couldn't believe the conditions. I'm glad to see your organisation is doing such a great job over there and I hope you can stop the violence on animals alltogether. Your right EDUCATION is the best way of starting. People have no idea what happens to animals in other peoples homes. I'm still at it my husband and I have rescued a few animals that lived on the streets and made sure they found good homes. Its hard thinking about the innocent ones that only have love to give can be treated with no respect. Just goes to show how society works. My brother-in-law is BATSO and he just brought home a dog he rescued and named her INCA. She is a tan colored pit bull mix and is just beautiful. I missed your show the day that Rescueink was on and I was wondering when it will be repeated during the summer?
