Worth the Wait!

Ellen asked Garth Brooks to sing one more song after her show. After more time than it took those girls to drive across country in the Acadia, Garth finally got his guitar, and believe us, it was worth the wait. Plus, the audience had a nice little sing-along.

Hey Ellen,
I missed your show with Stacy Westfall & her
horse Wizard's Babydoll. I have her 2006 championship ride on my computer & have shared it with everyone I know who loves animals. My Grandad trained horses & "sat" a horse like he was totally in sync with the animal. Stacy is the only person I've seen on a horse that captures the "Oneness" with her horse that my Grandad had.
Totally a Beautiful & amazing thing to watch.
Could you please put that snippit on your website?
Love your show.

Ellen,

I want to first thank you for being "YOU'.. You are an awesome entertainer.. real, sincere, funny and just "yourself".. I love it! I enjoyed Garth.. truly one of our music legens and great entertainers. Sure glad to see him on your show. Also enjoyed the magic trick. I tried it at home. it works.. not sure how.. but wow.. that was fun. Enjoyed the young lady who speaks 11 languages and writes music.. That is one to keep an eye on.. She is going to be someone really famous someday..

I use to be a "Food Network addict" now I'm an Ellen addict.. Always curious to see what's next on your show..

I doubt you read these blogs.. I'm sure you have an assistant who takes care of monitoring these.. but, in the off chance that you do read them from time to time.. Thanks!.. I'm Sure glad we have your show, and we in the television audience get to enjoy some of your 'sunshine and laughter".. Carpe Diem!

Ellen before I started to wash your show my work outs past time was music, now I record all your shows and spend over two hours working out to your shows. I wanted to say thank you for making my days and workouts much more exciting. You are the true meaning of what a human-being should be like and if every one had your sprit and joy for life we would all dance to beat of our hearts.

Ps
My best part of my work out is when I get to dance on the dance part of the show.

Hi, Ellen, your shows are GREAT I am always happy to watch your show, never a bad show, you are very good and very nice person, you have a good heart. I wish that there was some way that you could get this e-mail to Garth, I have tried everywhere to find it. We LOVE Garth, my two sons LOVE GARTH, they have always been BIG BIG fans. My youngest son is in the military, he is a UNITED STATES MARINE, he gets out in MAY (2008), and I would love for them to see Garth somewhere, as a favor for me,and my two sons. He went to Iraq, and Bagdad, and lots of other bad places, and has indured lots of bad stuff, and situations. My oldest son is a Marine also, he was released on medical leave. We are so very very proud of them both. Could you please help me out with this? I don't know where or if Garth has another concert somewhere. They have all of his CD's. We Live in Oklahoma, and have seen him around over the years, but never have had a chance to see him in concert. I think that he has a HEART OF GOLD, he is always very nice to his fans, and anyone that he meets. He is truly a Angel. He is a down to earth person, has never let fame to his head. The same with Toby Keith, he has a HEART OF GOLD, the would be the most awesome thing for them, for them to see them together, in a concert for the Military men and women. There is alot of military men and women that love Garth and Toby, they very true to their words.

Thank You!
Sheila (PROUND MARINE MOM)

Hey Ellen....great show as always! Pretty exciting for you being tired. You had an offer awhile back about turning 50 and sending a story. Well, my husband since 07-07-07 whom after being together for 7 years turns 50 on April Fools day. 04/01/58. I just feel he needs to be honored for his hard work at his job. He takes care of me, which I am disabled with chronic pain and many other conditions and helps me with my BEAUTIFUL daughter Kayla that just turned 15. He helped me plan every little detail of our backyard wedding which was the most romantic day I have ever experienced. He loves me no matter if I have the energy to get up. We have good days though. He is trying to make a point of getting a honeymoon for us as well as a family vacation. Our honeymoon was a family vacation, but it was wonderful. He works all the overtime he can to make ends meet and give us any extra we may want or need. Trying to get a friend to put my car back together after having the motor redone. All this is a lot of $$$$ He knew I always wanted a Cadillac and when the chance arrived, he bought me one. I love it!!!! More so when its done, but this man will make sure it happens. He is just the greatest man in the world for taking such good care of me and Kayla that I felt I wanted to at least share with whomever will read this. You show is wonderful and I always try to catch it. I make my doctor appointments early so I'm home in time{:

hello Ellen & crew
This Monday morning I woke up early, very early. I had alot on my plate. Your show comes on 9 a.m. Texas time.
I, almost always get something inspirational from your show.
But today I was changing my life.
I was making an investment.
When this journey (on my investment in life) started I knew I had to do it, I just didn't know how.

I didn't know "The Garth" was going to be on
I took the time to watch the first 15- 20 minutes, then I had to go for breakfast. I persuaded the restuarant to change the channel to your show. We all watched.

I think it was around 1991 or 92 I saw Garth at Austin City Limits. I remember how he took the time to acknowledge ALL of the people after the taping. He did that for hours.

Today, just shortly after your show ended I invested in something that will change the rest of my life. I didn't do it alone. I had to ask for help. And I found it. I know there are alot of people who are proud of me. And there are more people who are happy for me.

I just want you to know that you helped me too.
When I was little I always dreamed about being Rich and Famous, and how I would help and Share That with other people. Now I am on my way.

Thank you for your time and the laughter. It gets me thru to the next obstacle I have to overcome.

When I turned on the TV this morning, A feeling of confidence washed over me when I saw your show.

Can I show you one of my Magic tricks?

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME

Melissa in Small Town Texas

This was a message from him saying here is a beautiful gift, fight hard.
