Please have one of the cast members from the Showtime show The L Word on your show. Preferably Kate Moennig, Leisha Hailey, Rose Rollings, or former cast member Erin Daniels. They are all hysterical, especially Leisha and Erin. Also, I would love if you had the band Uh Huh Her (Leisha Hailey and Cam something or other) on your show. They are amazing and they are putting out a new cd May 20th. Thanks. Much love.

Dearest Ellen,

First of all thank you for reading this IMPORTANT, suggestion and please bear with me...

You inspire me more now, than ever, since I found out about your heartfelt give, to a animal shelter, 1 million dollar contest. The Maxfund in Denver,Co. is very much in the running, I recently found out, from Nanci Suro, the founder and MORE THAN deserving of this money. For almost 2 years, I have been volunteering at another shelter, thinking about Maxfund who has but a drop in the bucket, comparatively to them. I have a better understanding and insight of the challenges these shelters face and a sense of urgency to get this out. Maxfund has been in my heart and I was recently there but very, long over due! I offered my services and asked if I could gather information and take pictures for a book I am writing. They have gratefully and graciously welcomed me. I was also grateful to them and elated, for animals are my passion. I have committed my time and efforts to make a difference and inspire others to do the same.
I know your love of animals, despite all that lousy press. I admire you even more, because you are a caring, human being, who can admit her mistakes and find a way, to remain positive and inspire others. " to come along..." SIC

In reaching out to you and your staff, I hope we can make a connection, networking, and giving expose to animal rights. Resolve some of mans disregard, in this toss away society, for the animals, who did not create these problems. As human beings we need to work collaboratively to correct and stop the injustice. I am a member of ASPCA and despite all they do, animal overpopulation and protection is a urgent issue that does not get enough exposure. For that matter, do the dedicated, committed, people who work at these animal shelters. They do not get the recognition and HONER they deserve. I have suggested, to two other talk shows, about having a program, dedicated to animal shelters and their compassionate, employees. Recognizing their efforts, ideas and insights, to inspire others, HONORING them for all they do, to keep are most, precious, animals safe.

Have had no responses yet, NOT giving up, and have a persistent, feeling about you and your show. HOPEFUL and waiting, I thank you for your time, considering how many we are, with world changing ideas, and your dedication to helping us share these and inspire others.

Gratefully yours,
Suzanne Creacy

PS. I could not make a copy of this letter. If possible, could you please send a copy via my email or address below. IF YOU HAVE THE TIME, IF NOT, I will definitely understand. (SMILE!!) Thank You

Dear Ellen and Fans,

I missed todays show, it is the first show I have missed in over a year. I had a really good reason and I am writing to ask all of you for good thoughts, wishes and prayers.

When Ellen was doing the Superbowl contest I sent 275 letters on behalf of my sister who is a huge Pats fans. In one of the letters I told her that I currently have one brother in Iraq and the other is slated to go.

Just after your monologue my phone rang. It was my Dad. He had just spoken to my brother via computer. The base he is on in Rustamiyah, Iraq was attacked today at about 1:30pm eastern time. The attack started with a car bomb at the front gate. There were mortars fired and guns fired. The building my brother was in was hit by at least one mortar.

I called a news station to see if I could get more information and was told that they usually find out about these attacks a couple of days after the fact, becasue they have to wait for the Department of Defense to release a statement.

My brother is a civilion over there training our military personal how to repair a new vehicle.

My brother got on the computer and used the program Skype to call my Dad, Dad said he sounded shaken and scared.

My family got very lucky today as my brother was unharmed. However the men who were guarding the front gate at the time are men from the unit my brother is over there with. At this point he is in lockdown and has no idea if any of his friends were hurt or lost.

I have always said a prayer every night for our military men and women - I know tonights prayer is going to be extra long. I will also be staying up for a while to try to talk to him myself - I just need to hear his voice.

I am writing this not for sympathy as that is just not my style. But because I believe in what a great person you are and how awesome your fans are. I am hoping that maybe all of you would just for a few seconds today think about our guys and gals who are so far away from home,

I know this makes them feel good. Not just from talking to my brother, but because I have organized Support Our Troops rallys. At them I have taken heat and told I was supporting the war. I disagreed, I was purely there for the troops.

There are two events that took place during these rallys that I will never forget. Young men who were getting ready to ship out took photos to take with them. They told me they planned to share them with other troops so they would know that there were people who believed in them.

The second event made me cry. A Vietnam vet came up to me and thanked me for setting up the rally for our soldiers. He also told me that I would never understand how much it would mean to them.

I am asking the people I believe to be the best fans and the most phenomenal talk show host for just a few seconds of your time tomorrow to think about these guys and gals and think good wishes for them, you can do it in the shower, on the drive to work, when your boss is lecturing you and you want to tune him/her out, in the elevator, while you cook dinner, while you brush and floss your teeth, even when you are just walking out to your car.

Thank you all!

Just a few words. I love your show. I watch it three times sometimes, on satlite dish. I used to watch Porchia when she was on Ali Mcbeal. I am so happy you are together. You are a great person. Love Love Love your show.

Hi Ellen,

The other day you were showing your pets from home. What happened to your French Bull Dog? I thought his name was Wolfe. But when you flashed a picture of the dog, it looked like a cacapoo (spelling sorry). Do you still have him. I thought he was so cute. Thanks and I love your show. I watch it every day on Tivo. TTFN. (translated ta ta for now). Looking forward to the next show.

Hello!
I'm writing to you because I want to have a segment on your show. It would be called TOQ. Now this stands for something and I want to share it with you. I have been busting my balls for 46 years to get somewhere in life and I'm still in Roseville. Sheeesh!
IEllen, would you consider becoming an entertainment empire by looking at all of us who have great ideas and talent but don't know what to do ?
Yeah, I thought so. It's hard when every other email is asking for just a little break, but for us older folks 40 to 80 we really can't catch a wave. Loves to you and all your staff.
Scott

Hi Ellen,
It's me Lori again, I have emailed you several times and I even made a birthday video for you when you turned 50 - you are such a breath of fresh air. I remember when you were in stand-up just starting out and now you are the bomb!!! I loved it when the writer's were on strike because we never knew what kind of wacky stuff you would come up with. You make me laugh and you have enough energy for 15 people half your age. My boyfriend is working so very hard starting out a Work-at-home web site. We are slowly but surely moving up the ladder. In the 6 months that he has been building it, he has moved up to 600,000 in the google ranking. It doesn't sound like much until you remember that there are like a billion websites in the google ranking. If anyone is looking for a work-at-home job, they should check out our site. I REALLY LOVE IT WHEN YOU DO THE GADGETS THAT YOU PURCHASE OFF THE TV. I am actually a work-from-home call center employee and sell items just like what you have = and I love it so much when you do crazy stuff because many times I feel that way, but can't voice it!!! Anyway, I love you and your show. I don't remember seeing what you did for Portia on her birthday, maybe it was personal, but loved the way you tore down the house today. And, lastly, I love Josiah, I told my boyfriend when he left, Ellen should have him on the show, and of course, you did!!! You are an inspiration to us all. Take care Ellen. And for anyone interested in work-at-home legimitae jobs, check out our site, Thegadgitech.com
Take care Ellen
Can't wait to see you tomorrow.

Ellen...Will you ever have Katherine Moening or Daniella Sea from "The L Word" on your show... They're both amazing actors...and hot!!

Hello Ellen & Friends,

I have been trying to email you for days now, but unable to download the right page. Anyway, I am writing from Keepers of the Wild in Valentine, Arizona. We are a non-profit sanctuary dedicated to the rescue and rehab of neglected, abused and/or endangered exotic animals. We would love for you and your friends to come visit us. Please check us out at 'keepersofthewild.org'. Thanks, Ellen!! Hope to see you soon.

Saw Paris Hilton on the show yesterday and need to know where you can buy the hair extensions that are attached to the hair bands. Someone please tell me.

Hello Ellen,

I watched your show today with Josiah. Me and my husband are big fan's of American Idol. When I heard Josiah's story I just wanted to cry. When he did not make the American Idol I was so upset for him. I told my husband that something good will happen for him and so it did. You are a wonderful person for having him on your show, I hope this helps him out in his future. I feel really bad for his mom, I lost my mom about 10 months ago to cancer, very difficult. But any why I'm a fan of that little boy and wish him the best. Our pray's are with him.

Thanks
Joyce

!PLEASE READ! I NEED HEEEELP!
For the first time in my life I have decided to follow my heart and my dreams and try to change the world in my own little way. I opened a store called Veda in Kirkland,WA. It is an inter-denominational spirituality, meditation and inspiration based book, gift, art and home decor store. The gratitude of my community further confirms that Veda is meant to be here. I have put absolutely everything I have in to this, to the point where I cannot pay my own bills much less support Veda any longer. I am being threatened to be sued because I can't pay rent. I know it wasn't smart to completely tap myself out, but this is how much I believe in what I am doing. I have been sober for almost 4 years and wanted to give back to my community the inspiration which saved my life. I am also doing my part in trying to eliminate the stigma of recovery by carrying recovery items in my beautiful boutique setting. By carrying books and items from different religions and philosophies, I am promoting unity and tolerance and the fact that the common denominator off all spiritual paths is love and compassion. I host workshops and classes promoting self-knowledge and growth.
Since I am recently divorced and after being a stay-at-home mom for 8 years, I cannot get any loans because I have no income or employment history. I know in my heart that Veda is providing the inspiration our society needs. I am not trying to get rich here, I just want to be able to support Veda until it can support itself. I also know that if anyone can help me it's Ellen and her amazing audience. Please view my website to learn more about my mission and visions and contact me if you have any ideas for me. I am desperate as I could have to close my store any day. www.vedakirkland.com
Full of Gratitude,
Brandie

Hi Ellen! I was trying to email you and I've attempted twice to leave a comment, which came up as an error. So here we go again.
I'm a stay at home mom to an 8-month old baby boy, and I'm trying to get my buisness with Arbonne International going. As I've been trying to think of ways to get the word out there, the idea of e-mailing you poped in my head. So here I am!
Arbonne International is a Swiss Skin Care company, whose products are NEVER tested on animals. They are Pure, Safe, and Benefical! I don't know if you've ever been introduced to them or not? I thought I'd take a shot and see if you would like to try some of our products. You can go to my website www.aryannaird.myarbonne.com.
I love the products and the positive energy from the people I work with. It's hard to find that sometimes. Thank you for your time and energy.
Sincerely,
Aryann Aird

I see you got a Peekaso in your possesion!!! You are one lucky gal.
