Anyway, Dayna has the most generous heart and cannot bear to see an animal in pain and her heart totally blocked out "common sense" as she really can't afford the expense. The dog is still at the vet since this accident last memorial wsekend and has had two surgeries on both sides--leg and hip. The veterinarian said the dog could live a quality life--but it may need to have one of it's feet amputated as of the last update. Again, Dayna is "sooo--emotionally overwrought" she signed on to help this abandoned dog (no collar or id) facing imminent death she acted from her heart and not her pocketbook. So far the stay at the vet since Memorial holiday, pain medication, two surgeries--she's looking at a bill way out of her league (so far the fee is on a credit card) If you can help in any way--or have a suggestion how we can raise funds for "her dog"--PLEASE LET ME KNOW! THANK YOU FOR ANY IDEAS/ASSISTANCE.
And yes, Dayna has both the heart and patience to keep this dog and work at it's rehabilitation.

I read that instead of spouse the marriage will refer to partner A & partner B. Which one will you be? Here in Australia we see your shows only a few days after they are shown in the States. After meeting in England, my female partner and I have been together for 32 years and can't wait for Australia to approve gay marriages.

Ellen...the TV doesn't go on each day until 3:00...when your show comes on. Never could stand daytime tv...and now that I am home each day (due to physical problems) your show is the only one I watch! Love the viewer funny pics, games, and dancing. It doesn't get any better than this. Thank You!

Hi Ellen, I love your show and admire your generousity. Early this week you showed clips of people doing new things to helps others. While I found all to be commedable, there was one from a woman who says she now places her recycling on her back patio for a homeless man to pick up. I found this to be quite disingenuous as how much effort really goes into her "solution"? Think of all the ways she could help the homeless without making them A. pick up her recycling, B. What does he use the money for? Why not just provide that necessity? And finally I wish someone would come to my back yard to pick up my recycling. I have paid an earth-friendly company to take it away for me and hauled it across town to the main facilities. Thanks for letting me vent. I'm sure there are many many viewers who do great things from your inspiration.
