Ellen, Not to sound like a broken record but... I love your show. Usually I DVR it and watch when I can. I am a stay at home mom and full-time college student. I have an (almost) three year old (June 13th)daughter and am expecting our second child. We think it's a boy! I am only 16 weeks, but swear I (and the Doctor)saw a 'peter' in the last ultrasound picture. People say every pregnancy is different, and I can vow mine have been complete opposites although both started the same. Back in 2004 I was pregnant and had a miss carriage one month later I was pregnant AGAIN, with my daughter Ellanor. This year(2008)in January I found out I was pregnant and again had complications, this time a tubal pregnancy that erupted, after having my left fallopian tube removed I was scared I would not be able to have anymore children. One month later I was pregnant again! I am so blessed and just wanted to tell you how wonderful I think your mother's day show was. I love seeing other pregnant women and hearing their stories. Although the gifts were wonderful my favorite part was the video messages from soldiers (father's-to-be)to their wives and children on the way. It was so important and emotional. Thank you for all you do, laughter does so much for so many. Have a wonderful year, Shannon.

howdy ellen, i would have said yo but, because of hurricane katrina i now live in rosenberg,tx. and everyone here says howdy. i get strange looks when i say yo or where ya at. anyway, i am writing for my sweet little daughter-in-law kerri who is expecting a baby girl in aug. (30th)my son steven and wife kerri wanted to try to have a baby in 2005 but their house blew away with everything they have ever owned. just trying to get through the rest of 2005, 2006 and 2007 was rough. there is not much room in a fema trailer and not knowing where their lives where headed they thought it best to hold off in having a baby. it is now 2008 and they are living in a house. kerri works two jobs and steven one which has long hours just to keep a roof over their heads. the cost of housing shot up so high along with homeowerners insurance that this is what they have to do. they go non stop day and night. they want so much to have a baby and knowing these two they will work even harder just so they can have a family of their own. i watched your mothers day show and everytime you gave the gifts away i cried. i wanted steven and kerri to have nice things like that for their first baby. i want them to feel as happy as all those wonderful mothers to be in your audience felt. they need happy in their lives. just diapers would help. they cost $15.00 and up. wow ! well, thanks bunches ellen, you know we love ya ! p.s. i have stage 4 breast, lung and bone cancer.i may not be here much longer and i don't have the funds to give them all the great gifts you showed. i guess that might have made me cry just afew more tears. joan switzer ,grandmother in waiting

I loved your mothers day show. I am 14 weeks and 2 days pregnant this is our first pregnancy... I feel so blessed to be pregnant. I was told about 7 month ago that it would be very complicated for my partner and I to get pregnant.. so many tests were done in that 7 month then just 3 weeks ago i was told that we were pregnant... it was a miracle all the docs were so suprised. I think I am still in shock mode.. I felt like i went to sleep one night being told that it was goin to be hard to conceive than to wake up the next morning 3 month pregnant already.. Thank you god we feel so blessed.. p.s i would love to win any of the gifts on your show =) Love you Ellen

Dear Ellen

Hi. My name is Donna and I live on a farm in Australia. I have just watched your mothers day programme. I try and watch your show evey morning as I love your sense of humour. I am writing to say how much I admire your generosity and good heartedness (is that a real word?)

Not only on your mothers day show, what you did for that beautiful lady that is expecting the twin girls but for all the work you have done for the Hurricane Katrina victims.

I have four amazing children ranging from 16 to 3 and we are expecting our 5th in October ( do not say it I know FIVE - we have finally figured out how it works, I have said we are not going on holidays together ever again!!). It was lovely to see all the excited new time mums on your show, but I would like to say it is just as exciting 5th time around.

Thank your for providing a show that is so entertaining and informative, please keep up your good work.

As we say in Australia

I live in Australia NSW. i watch your show most days of the week and love it. i was really excited that you had a mothers day special that was on your show on May 2008. it was great to know that i could have a chance of winning the mothers day prizes, As my partner and i have been trying for a baby for 15 mths & just found out that we have to do IVF/ICSI which we have to do ASAP, and it costs alot. So i applied online but you didnt have my State on the form so i could not enter. Just wanted to tell you that i was very upset and If you could please add Australia on your website competitions!!
Lots of love: Nadia Bell

Hi Ellen,

your show is on in the morning in Australia and I like to watch with my baby whilst having a cuppa ( i have the cuppa)
You are really generous!!!!! But that mother's day show made me so ridicliously jealous...

Can you come to Australia and do a show?
it doesn't have to be a giveaway as we don't seem to do that here anyhow - which is a bit of a rip off.
enjoy X

Hello Ellen!

Okay, so is the Mother's Day Giveaway over and done with? I was able to watch the show while on bedrest (I'm 14 weeks - first pregnancy - excited and scared all at the same time). I'm excited for the women who were blessed with these great gifts on your show. Uh, I'd like to personally experience some of that excitement here in Maryland. Heck....I need those items too!! I can't dance right now, but will surely shake a tail feather as soon as I'm feeling better :~)

Hi Ellen! I wanted to send an email about my daughter, Janelle. She has a beautiful baby boy, my first grandson, who is now 15 months old. She is having her second child due in August, another baby boy! We are so excited! My daughter had to stop working to take care of her son because I was injured. I have always felt so bad that I could not help her and her husband but I had to take care of my injury. (I fell and had mutilple fractures in my foot and have had 3 surgeries on that foot. I am still in physical therapy. This happened on September 27, 2007!) They have done without so she could stay at home.
My grandson LOVES to watch your show! He dances along with you. It is just so cute! I was hoping that you would pick my daughter to be one of the recipients of your Mothers' Day prizes! We would be forever grateful! Ellen, you are the best! Please never change and always be YOU!!! We love you!

hey Ellen
your mothers day gifts are awsome. I watched your show when I was in labor, and we continue to watch every day. I DVR it and am able to watch while I am nursing. The gifts you had would be wonderful for our big baby boy. Thanks

hey ellen, I am one of your biggest fans. My mom and I watch you mostly everyday after school and i really love watching you. Well the other day it was mothers days and i didnt have enough money to buy my mom a gift. I felt really bad and I want her to have the BEST gift in the world because shes the BEST mom in the world. I would appreciate it if mabye by any chance you can allow me to come on your show as a surprise for my mother. Its my dream, and also my mothers, to be on your but we never got tickets because my mom has been busy. Also its almost my moms birthday and i wanted to get a gift for her but i dont know what. So please Ellen, make my dream come true to make my mother happy. I really want this for my mother and it would mean ALOT to see her smile after her fathers death one year ago and also for almost losing my brother about 2 years ago. I know it is too late to win the GMC Acadia but if by any chance there is a way to win one or anything on your show please let me know. I really want my mom to be happy. Thank you.

Dear Ellen, I only laugh when I watch your show. I think you are the best, and funniest comedian. I work 2 jobs, take care of my house, and run my 2 kids around so there are times I don't get to watch your show. My son and I are home this week watching you every day. We are both home very sick with the flu. My son gets a kick out of your dancing. Keep your show rolling. I wish I could see you in person.

Hello,
My toddler and I watch Ellen every morning. He loves to dance with you.
I just found out I'm expecting and due in Jan. My husband left for Iraq on Mother's day. As I watched your mother's day baby shower I cried whenever the soldiers said hello to their wives, because I realized I would be in the same situation. As a military wife, I know how much that meant to those women, to see their loved ones and hear their voices.
I would love to win all the prizes, but I do realize not everyone can win. I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy the show and look forward to it each day.
Have a great day and sleep well.
Ariane

Dear Ellen: I just want to say that you are an amazing individual! You are so down-to-earth and you do some very nice things for people. It's even nicer of you to try to share what you do with your audience with viewers at home. I too, have enterred the baby giveaway. I am expecting my first baby on July 2, 2008 and the baby gifts would come in VERY handy...baby's are super expensive :) However, like other viewers, I never get the confirmation email. So, hopefully, my entry is going through. Maintain that kind, empathetic spirit and your success will go on for a long time. I wish you all the best! - M

Hi Ellen,
Let me just start off and say how much I love you and your show. You are just so funny. Your show is on at 3:00 every day and I look forward to that time each day. I recently found out I am expecting. I would love to win those baby gifts. Everyone has their own story to tell so I won't really go into mine except to say that money is really tight and I don't know how we are going to get through this. I tried to enter to win online but for some reason I never get the confirmation email so I don't know if my entry ever goes through. I do get other emails from the Ellen show though so I don't understand. I could really use those gifts. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I love your show.

dear ellen
I love watching you! I even have my husband and son watching you. I see all the good things that you do for people and I was hoping that my story might touch your heart. I am a 42 year old woman whom at 15 was pregnant and at 21 had 4 children. I live in a poor community and I thought that my decision was a good one. I gave 3 of my children up for adoption in hopes that they would have a better life! They have and in my case I have got to be in their lives! I am a grandmother now. I thought that by giving up my children that things would be better finaicially, but I was wrong. I married the father of my last child whom was a son.he is now 20 . My life is so hard ellen. I was condemmened in this little community for giving up my children, which was the hardest thing I ever did in my life, the reason I'm writing is that my oldest daughter is getting married soon and I'm to be a big part of it, is I don't have any means to do anything for her for the wedding. I don't even have a car ellen. I can't help myself. so maybe if you ever do a show on adoptions, I would like to be a part of it. It was very hard but I was lucky enough to be a part of their lives. I thought by doing what I did my life would be better finacilly, but it is not. would you please help!!!! thank you ellen, I love your show

Hey Ellen,
I tape your show everyday. I'm sure everyone says that, but I really do. I enjoy everything about it, especially your sense of humor, that you're an animal lover, and how giving you are. I watched your Mother's Day Show. It was great. The day the show aired I was one day over due and now as I write this I'm 6 days over due. I have been very blessed through out my pregnancy. I didn't have morning sickness and the baby has been developing normally. My husband and I have a great family who have been very supportive and showered us with everything we needed for our baby. So I'm not asking to win any of the wonderful prizes you gave away on your show. What I desire means more to me then any crib or stroller. My grandparents, that I haven't seen in a year, drove up from Florida to Ohio arriving May 5th to see the birth of their first great grandchild. Well my due date of May 8th came and past with no baby. They had to leave this morning so my 80 year old Grandpa could get back to work. He's job would not give him anymore time off of work. They have been trying to sell their house for 15 months now so they can move back to Ohio. They can't afford to return to Ohio till the house sells. Which could be another year before they meet our baby. I was very disappointed that they left. I pray everyday that their house will sell so they can come back home. Our baby's baptism is June 8th and the greatest Mother's Day gift for me would be that they could be here and celebrate and meet our little angel. Thank you Ellen for listening! I wish you and your show continued success!

Dearest Ellen, Thanks, again for having such a great show, you really make my day. I had delivered a still born, in 2001. I would like to win someting little. My stepson's sister, just had a little boy, I would give it to her, a lady from church, her niece just had a baby. Thank you for having the great Carly Simon, on your show today. can you try to get Linda Ronstadt. Love, Di
