Who's That with Ellen?

Answer: Neil Patrick Harris.

When he was in the fourth grade, Neil tagged along with his older brother Brian to auditions for "The Wizard of Oz." Neil ended up getting the part of Toto.

Neil's acting ability was first noticed by writer Mark Medoff at a drama summer camp in 1987. Shortly thereafter, Neil was cast in the part of David Hart in the Whoopi Goldberg movie, "Clara's Heart."

Neil was an honor student at La Cueva High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was three years ahead of fellow La Cueva student Freddie Prinze, Jr.

I was shocked to hear that he is gay----to picture that in my mind just baffles me. What a waste of a man.

I was right! Yey!!!!!!!!!!!!...Oh, BTW, hi, Ellen! ;p

The girls at our dormitory love watching you! (That is when we're not too sleepy already...your show comes on midnight! AAARRGGGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Thrice the fun for me 'cause your show follows Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.

Thanks for featuring Charice Pempengco. But may I make a suggestion? Actually, more like request. Can you please feature Lea Salonga? She is the Philippines' biggest pride and joy. She's a busy bee (especially because her concert is upcoming and she starts touring Asia for Cinderella starting August) but I'm sure she can definitely go there! She is also the latest face of the breast cancer awareness campaign here :>

Anyway, thanks for this space and...HAPPY BIRTHDAAAYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey ellen, can you have my favorite child actor, Danny Pintauro on the air??? I think he was last teaching acting in NY... and working on or off broadway. I dunno, I haven't kept up with what he is doing recently...

I grew up with "who's the boss" and was so happy to hear he came out in the public eye... he was like... one of the first that I knew of... (male child actors who came out)

love you babe!

Dear Ellen,

I just wanted to say thanks for the years of laughter and dance. I am a single mom w/ a 12 year old son Kyle, I record your show everyday so we can watch it ever night. No matter how stressed my day is you manage to end it on a high note. I teach my son to do these things everyday: learn somethng new, do someone a kindness, laugh out loud, tell someone you love them and dance. Your show has been and is the best example of our motto. We learn from you, we laugh with you, we love you and we dance with you giving our spirits energy to live on. Happy belated birthday and congratulations on your upcoming nuptuals. All the best, Valerie & Kyle.

Ellen,
I have been a big, big fan of yours since way back when you were doing stand up. I have watched all of your shows. Personally I loved everyone of them. I was so angry when you came out and soon after had your show canceled it was a great show and was getting even better all the time. Your only problem was you were ahead of your time. Now that show would have been excepted with no problem or I would hope it would be.
I love you in everything you do I think you are one of the most if not the most talented comic actors of our time.
You also are the best darn talk show host bar none that we have ever had.
Keep up the good work and I am still crossing my fingers that you will try again for a prime time comedy. Heck we need to see a normal lesbian and gay couple raising a family. It is about time that people realize homosextual familys are not any different from their own.
Here's hoping that you can make it work.
Your faithful fan
Kate
