Mariah’s mother, Patricia, named her after the “Paint Your Wagon” song, "They Call the Wind Maria" (spelled 'Maria' without the H, but pronounced “Mariah”).

With 18 #1 hits, Mariah is in 2nd place among all artists with the most #1s in music history. The Beatles remain in first place with 20. She surpassed Elvis Presley's 17 #1 hits with "Touch My Body" as her 18th.

Hi Ellen,

Well your show brought me to tears today. I do have one wonderful little boy who will be 3 this month but we have been trying to conceive again with no luck, even with fertility medication. It took medication to work the last time but it doesn't seem like it was meant to be for a second child. I wish all the moms to be a wonderful time.

I also miss my mum this time of year but call her every day. I live in Victoria, British Columbia and she's in Halifax, Nova Scotia (where I grew up) so we don't see each other often.

Maybe one day we can both make it to see your show and have a mother-daughter vacation.

Your show is a great stress reliever for me after a long day at work (even if you make me cry)LOL.

My good friend told me about an encounter with you, Ellen.. I would love to give you more on this, that is if you are interested at all. She loves your show, and when I see you, I'm left with at least a smile on my face, even though I don't understand the lesbian lifestyle or choice to be leaned that way. I used to try to change gay womens' minds when single to create an incredible 'man' environment for then yo enjoy, rather than a bad time in their lives when 'men' had ruined somehow their reason for living and could never trust a man for anything.

Love your show.. Want to hear more of this encounter, I'll get more details for you. I would love for you to meet my friend, who remains a cool and groovy friend of mine. (Who is also straight, I thought, until... perhaps you came around! :o) LOL)

My name is Rachel and my husband and I are expecting our 5th child. Our 4 children are all boys and ages 4, 2, 1 and 5 months. I am 4 months along now.Scary huh.... It is so over whelming at moments, but I wouldn't want it any other way. I couldn't do it without my very helpful and supportive husband. I don't have to ask him , he is already helping. I loved your show. wished I could have been in the audience. they were very lucky today LOL...My husband rubbed my belly the entire show and made me feel just as special as those mothers... Your show is awesome and if I were there I'd be the best dancer LOL

Hey Ellen, just a short note to tell you how much I enjoy watching your show every day @3pm. It was a wonderful Mother's day show. My own Mother has been gone for 11 years now, and I still miss her dearly. My youngest son, Nico and wife, Nashanna lost their 11-month baby boy due to an drowning accident. It has been a ver devasting time for us all, anything you could do would be appreciated and keep us in your prayers.

I loved your show today. I am a grandmother of two, a mom of four & both my daughters are having new babies. My oldest daughter on June 9th & my youngest daughter is due on July 10th. You are great with your genorosity & kindness. Both of my girls are lucky.
We have had showers & family & friends are so helpful. I am sure that you really helped alot of those girls who could not afford all of the great gifts they received today. Keep up the good work. I am on disability so I get to watch your show every day.
