Seriously all this talk and worry about gay/straight has really got to end. Does it really matter? Are you happy with who your with and what your doing? Then seriously who really cares!! Gay is not a disease, a bacteria, a pandemic. It's life! So get over it.
Gay people are people to. They bleed just like the rest of us.

WE LOVE YOU ELLEN!!

A family of 6

MELODY

Ellen
First, let me say that I LOVE your show. Starting the day without "Ellen" is a day without sunshine! My husband and I now live in OK and have been very happy with the people, the weather and the lifestyle. While you can't tell from the recent comments of a "Representative" from OK, this is a fairly EVOLVED area, filled with culture and people who go out of their way to help others. As you could probably tell from your recent show with Mayor Cornett, this is also a place where social issues take priority and a very creative plan {and funding} for growth is in full swing. The message behind all is this as I see it is that we are a community of "thoughtful" residents. I am embarrassed that the comments voiced by someone in a governmental position do not reflect that. While I disagree with most of what was said, saying that homosexuality is a bigger threat than terrorism is particularly offensive. Not to mention totally ridiculous. This IS America and we ARE all entitled to our opinions and that is a basic "RIGHT". With rights, however, come responsibility and accountability. With that in mind, I await the call and conversation between you and Rep. Kern. Keep on keepin' on, Ellen!!

Ellen, I really enjoy your show. It keeps me smiling. I really enjoy watching you dance. You are simply smart, talented and amiable-no wonder you look so young and beautiful. Wishing you everything that's excellent Ellen. It's my wish to be on your show one of these days or even to meet you face to face. I love you Ellen. Continue being you.

Today I am sad...Why? you ask. Because I no longer have a DVR to record you everyday. We have needed to scale back on expenses to get ahead and how am I suppose to keep smilin' when I can't watch ELLEN everyday.
These gas prices arent helping my situation , thats for darn sure!!!!
I MISS you ELLEN. Thanks for entertaining me in the past. I could care less about anything else on daytime television. Your a breath of fresh air here in these cold parts of Maine. Is there any way we could do a trade of Fresh Maine Lobster and cable television???? Not sure if that is really an equal trade.....I could cut your hair? even though you always look good. Just offering what I have to you Ellen.....Your the best...real....fresh....envigorating....upbeat.....and always positive.....that is gift!
Hopefully when my pocket has some expendable cash...You will be first on my list!
Dance like there is no tomorrow!

Carol, the person who just posted below

Ellen I really love your comedic style- you do make me laugh. However your show is very aptly named, I find more and more the shows are too much about you! For a month before your birthday we heard every day that your birthday was coming. I was so glad when it came and went. On the first show after your birthday the first thing you did was start talking about your birthday! ENOUGH ALREADY!!! And what is that "caterwallin, screeching" noise you do at the start of each show? As soon as you do that I have an uncontrolable urge to change the channel.

I am sitting here waiting for your show to come on. My family and I have had such rotten luck lately and you are what makes me smile. I think you are great! Maybe some day I will have a chance to meet you in person. That is my dream. Have a great day Ellen!

dear.ellen i must say your shows are really good everyday. i watch you on channel 20 nbc in fort myers florida.everymorning.you are funny all the time. i like that about you.

Dear Ellen, Yesterday! Yesterday! Eye love Ewe, Yesterday! Yesterday, I decided to take a nap at approximately 4:12 P.M., with the intention of awaking in time for your show which comes on locally at 5:00 P.M. on ABC Channel 25 from Jacksonville, Florida. I awoke at 11:20 P.M., and have been at it ever since. I hope this early A.M. work ends soon. Anyway I am sorry I missed the young man that performed "Georgia" on the piano. I would like to see the whole segment concerning his life. Anyway, it is time for me to go to Fly-By Cafe at the St. Augustine airport to see my first patient of the day, and then maybe a long walk around St. Augustine. Wish ewe were HERE! Ewe have an open invitation, so don't waste your money at the Hotel. Yes I do... Sincerely, Sphoon

Hi Ellen,
Wanted to say "Thank You". I'm a pediatric nurse who works in my patients homes. My patients are kids from 6mos to 12yrs old who are severly challenged with multiple medical problems. As you may imagine, there are usually not many reasons to laugh. I'm lucky enough to be blessed with the opportunity to learn from these kids--every day- the true meaning of family and unconditional love. I have also witnessed the never-ending fight they face each day against overwhelming odds and they ALWAYS have a smile for me in the morning..even when they know I'm not going to be their 'favorite' person by the end of the day. Most of the kids go down for a nap just prior to your show. (I must admit I had something to do with their nap schedule ). When I see your smiling face and your unbridled love of life it rubs off and is capable of changing a "bad day" into one I know we can get through. My patients make my heart smile and you make me laugh. Those are things that have helped me get through some really sad days. Thank You soooo much. I apologize @ the length of this message but for you to understand how much you help people by just being yourself it helps to know where I'm coming from. Love Ya, Dawn in Cincinnati

Hi Ellen! I know you're an animal lover and I just wanted to forward this email to you.

Thanks for your time,
Susan Hassard

Hi Everyone,

Yes, you know I do work for a horse rescue and we struggle every month. But there is a rescue up north here in Arizona desperate for feed. This is legitimate and from Sunday. If you are able, please help, or forward to others who may help. Their animals did not eat last night.

The 131 burros and 39 horses at Hacienda de los Milagros Sanctuary in Chino Valley, Arizona did not eat last night. Due to a temporary funding crisis, there is no food.
Please log onto www.firstgiving.com/burros for more information.
