You make me laugh I'm funny but you are funny. To deal with life's obstacles I laugh its the best medicine.I watch you just to watch you dance ,and split the table that's my part. I'm a single mother of a 13 yr old boy and 9 yr old girl. They are my life, my air the reason for getting up in the morning.I'm freshly seperated from my husband of 12 yrs,and never thought life would be as difficult getting back on my feet. Having to relocate back to my economically stressed hometown of VA. I've been forced to move into not so safe neighborhoods.In doing that I have put my son in the middle of a gang war. With just a bi-way between the crips and bloods. Being that I'm not that old and grew up here I thought it was just on TV in other places but I was wrong here up close and personal. Being that my kids are military/mama don't play that type kids they aren't easily influenced.With God first and just good ethic I try to teach them choices. I've had to withdraw my son from a school that offered NO protection , with a Police officer on the campus a child can be jumped by 4 gang members in the bathroom in the middle of the day,caught literally with his pants down.You don't even have a choice anymore they choose you....Ellen saying what a rough 2 yrs it's been I just want to dance, I need a vacation can I come dance with you..Katrice, Kyree and Kia (The Bakers)from Norfolk,Virginia

Some young man was just killed last week for being gay!!! YES IT MATTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am a woman who loves men BUT YES IT MATTERS!!!!!!!!!!!! You can't be wishy washy about such things. When their is predjudice in the world and there probably will always be, due to the ignorant ones like that woman Ellen played the U-Tube video of, oh what's her name, well whatever, yes it matters! AND TO YOU CAROL!!!! It IS Ellen's show and SHE DOES NOT TALK ABOUT HERSELF ALL THE TIME!! In fact she really doesn't talk about herself that much, she is too busy making us laugh, or dancing with us, or GIVING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS OF GIFTS AWAY, or donations, etc. Obviously you have not watched her show very long or you would KNOW what the Kaaaaaaaaaaa is for and WE LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! For your information THAT is her giving back all the love the audience is giving to her!!! Instead of yelling she just says KAAAAAAAAAA. So if you don't like it as the other person says up there, TURN IT. I have read all the posts and there are people from Scotland, Canada, Trinidad, many places in the world who watch Ellen AND she has won alot of awards to show for it. She is very loved. So if you don't like her telling us it is her birthday (a birthday is special so she has every right to talk about HER birthday) and her saying KA, then turn it. I bet you won't tho because she is SOOOOOOOOOOO funny!!!!!!!!!!!!! And absolutely one of the best shows on Television. I love your show I wach it every day unless ofcourse I have homework.I have 2 moms, I did not like it when that girl said bad stuf about gay people.I did not like it because my parents are gay and i'm happy my parents are gay. I know they are happy and that makes me happy. I thought that woman on your show today should be on your show more because she was funny. I'm glade you made your show, you make a good show. I think gay people are happy and have a very good life. They can live their life the way they want. I hope you put my letter on your show because I want people to know how I feel about gay people.
