Hello Ellen and Portia,

Congratulation! I am international student. This is the first time I know your show and your story.. I am similar to you.. I know how feeling you spent, has spent.. Now it's the time you enjoy your life. I wish both of you good health and happiness.

Congratulations on your marriage. I'm male married and straight. Grew up in a very prejudiced household. I work every day to get over it. It's people like you who will have to lead the way. You have the cachones. Bless you. Since when is it the governments business to say who will marry who? I thought they tried that years ago. It's only the gov. business to RECORD the marriage. Let's see it they can get that right.

Hi Ellen, I want to first say Congrats to you and Porchia, I am so excited about the wedding. I watch your show everyday and can not wait for the new season to start and I love ya. Keep me laughing!!! Des Moines, Iowa

Ellen, My husband and I just bought a house on a bay in Texas and your aunt Audry was the prior owner. Whenever her name is mentioned, everyone says what a wonderful person she was! Just thought if she had other relatives they might like to know that she left good memories behind.

Hi Ellen, I watch your show every morning. You really enjoy yourself and dancing every morning makes me feel happy I know everyone else has to feel the same. Keep smiling I'll keep watching. I wish your wedding could be on televison.

Hey Ellen,

I have read some of the previous blogs regarding your upcoming wedding and all I can say is for them to get with the 20th century. I have quite a few friends that are gay and they usually have a better more trusting and longer lasting relationship than people who have been married 20 years or more. I hope both you and Portia have the very best wedding celebration and I agree with you it is about time it is legally recognized. As for the reeligious sector in the Bible it says God created all things so who are they to judge! I wish you both the best!

hi , ellen
awsome talk show with evan handler!
can't wait for mondays talk show .
the guiter hero is the best game i really enjoy it.

Hi Ellen,

New Orleans was my home until Katrina hit. We currently are gypsies because we are from Houston to New Orleans and back again.

I know you have helped people along the way to realize their dreams. Consequently, I ask that you take a look at a children's book written by my mother-in-law who taught school for thirty some years. I was told you taught too. She wrote quite a number of things for children but one book always impressed me. I kept after her to get it illustrated. She did that and had it copyrighted but did not get it published. She is now deceased and each time I look at that book, I think it should be in print. Could you take a look at an excerpt and you think it is good, recommend me to a publisher? I won't send it unless you give the go ahead.

Even if you don't have someone reply to me, I want you to know that I enjoy your show tremendously. You definitely have the rythm of New Orleans in your body and soul. You CAN DANCE, homegirl!

Do you think you will ever do a show in the city Gladys lives in since she does not like to travel? She is so funny. Her funniness is similiar to yours. You say things in such a way that it seems you don't even know it is funny but is just the way things are. It is humor that can sneak up on a person. Gladys is that way too. You are both natural comedians.

I would be typical New Orleans and ask you, "How's your mama and 'dem?" but I see she is well each time I see her in the audience. She is cute too.

Stay well and happy.
Edith

Forget Donna Glick. She sounds insecure.. and that ain't the way we roll baby! Love you Ellen!
