Put Your Wallets Back in Your Pockets!

Don't get me wrong, I love Crate & Barrel! They have a lot of great stuff. It's just that I made a joke that Portia and I were registered at Crate & Barrel and people took me seriously. We are not registered at Crate & Barrel. So please save your money! It's the thought that counts anyway, so thank you for all your wonderful thoughts!

I was so excited when California knocked down the ban on same-sex marriages, and the first person that I thought of was you... and I almost cried when I heard your announcement on TV. Congrats from the bottom of my heart!!! I cried tears of joy when I heard your announcement! You seem so happy with Portia and I hope your lives together are just perfect! You have the talent of making people laugh, and making others lives better and its only fair that your lives are just as happy! As coincidence has it, i cried twice the day of your announcement. I have been engaged since December 21, 2008 without an actual wedding date set. That same day, we finally decided on July 17,2009. I've waited so long to become partners with the love of my life, just as you have, and I celebrated us both on the big decisions we made that day. Again, congrats! You deserve the best girl!!!

Hi Ellen,

Just remember, sometimes things change once you've signed that little piece of paper that says your married. From time to time the person you love may not act the way think they should or remember to love you the way you think they should. But none the less, you chose her for a reason. There was something special that made you love her. Today is my 7th year anniversary and although it is a struggle just to listen sometimes, never forget why you married in the first place. She is special!

Just wanted to take a moment and tell you and Portia congratulations. It is really rare that in todays time we can find our someone else that we are happy and content with and want to spent the rest of our life with. I am very happy for you and I hope that you have all your wishes come true and that this is what you always thought it would be and more. You had to be one of the first ones in line when God was handlng out sense of humors and the gift of laughter cause you do have those and you use them every day when you walk out on stage. I am glad the CA finally passed the order and will allow same sex marriages. This is the 21st centery and we need to stop trying to do God's job which is judging someone and their pass. So keep on making people laugh and looking forward to seeing you every day. So Best Wishes and May God Bless you and Portia. I know that you will make it.

In this life, it's so rare to actually find someone that you can feel close enough to, to willingly give your heart to, & commit to spending your life with. Why are there still people who feel the need to put restrictions and limitations on who you can choose?

I am happy that you are getting married. It's about time the laws were changed. I live in texas so i dont see that happening here anytime soon.but im glad you're doing it and that you didnt try to hide it. you will both have a wonderful life together. I never understood what took so long for the laws to change.
