hi Ellen! I truly love your show, the twinkle of your eyes, the love and hope you spread to all around you; As a Christian, I'm sorry to say, I don't believe in same-sex marriages, but I am not God and so it's not my place to judge you, ever! We (Christians, too) are all sinners (according to God's word) and if you don't see Jesus in my life, in my actions, then I am not truly the Christian I claim to be. I only hope that when Christians confront you (and they will, I'm sorry to say) that they will remember their own sins and remember to look upon others not like themselves, thru God's eyes! You were worth (and still are!) dying for on the cross. So was I!

Knowing that you have found true love with Portia is an awesome thing; We all search for someone to love us, to accept us, just as we are; I truly pray that you both will have a long, loving relationship. It may not be a marriage in God's eyes, but the love you two share is from God for sure! Stay happy, girl! You have a gift of laughter that this troubled world needs today.

I just had my knee operated on 3 days ago and I came home to find Netflix had sent me your dvd (can't think of the title now, but it was full of such common sense! Or maybe that was the drugs??) Anywho, it was nice to laugh thru the soreness! Thank you!

Hi Ellen,

I'm in Scotland, and I've just found out that you and Portia are to be married. I am so delighted for both of you. My girlfriend and I will be married in October and I'm so happy that you now have the same rights that we in Scotland have enjoyed for some time. The best of luck to both of you. I posted at 10:30 today the 16th under I'm getting married and it was really cool .. nice.. what I wrote.. but it didn't post right away... so I hope you got it. When I posted I think the count was 217 !

Ummm... HEeee its now 983 !!!! Friday night now 11:28...roughly 12 hours later.

So basically I am happy for you both!!! I had a lot of exlamation points... so maybe that made the computer spit me out! I don't know.. I can't find my entry ... so I hope you got!!

Congrats Ellen & Portia. So nice to hear of your impending marriage. Hopefully loving couples will have the right to be married in all the states of the USA, not just 2 ( Mass & Cal ). It probably won't happen soon, but it will happen.

Thank you so much for the WONDERFULLY entertaining show you do each and every day.......even when you can't get out of bed!!! Why these people must type negative comments is beyond me. Are they so miserable that they cannot let you have your happiness???? Misery loves company and by the looks of these emails, there are many unhappy souls out there trying to recruit.

Personally, I am so very happy that you are at peace with your life, enjoying what you do with whom you do it. Please don't let anyone change you, you are the greatest and will rise above these uneducated beings.
