I was in the University of Louisville marching band with Patrick and his father and I have to say they are some of the nicest and most sincere people I have ever met. Between the home makeover and being on your show I would say they deserve everything they have received and more. It was an honor to march with them and I can't wait to see what they will do next. All my love, kait.
AMEN Patrick
God bless your soul. This kid moved me to tears i cryed and got gosebumps when i heard him sing. More people in this world need to be like him.

What was the song playing in the background when Patrick Henry Hughes came on stage? Does anyone know??? Thanks!
I truly enjoyed the interview and song with Patrick Hughes, what a truly amazing person he is. He is truly blessed because he can see what God wants us all to see, unconditional love. I think he is amazing, he is an inspiration to everyone! If only the rest of the world could see what he does!!! the true meaning of what God has given us, "Life". He has truly done so much in his 20 years than some people do in a life time.
I wish him and his family the best, and God Bless.
Very Sincerely,
Marianne *Starr*

What a shame we aren't all as blind as this amazing man. His lack of sight and insight should be inspirational to all of us. What an incredible person with so many tremendous abilities!
ellen,
Patrick was AMAZING!!!! I want you to know that your show depicts the kind of person your are. It speaks volumes. In my opinion, a animal lover, a person who loves children and elderly people, a person who loves their mother and treats her well, and a person to lends herself and her money to wonderful charities, is a person whose name is Ellen. I think that you rank up there with the best of them. I am proud to be a member of your viewing audience. I will be a fan forever. Keep on doing the stuff you do!
Love you,
Donna
As someone who witness amazing things from children who had limitations on a weekly basis, thank you for sharing Patrick's story. He is an inspiration to all of us. I hope you will show disabled persons doing amazing things in the future. Thank you again.
Hi Ellen, I just wanted to thank you for sharing Patrick with us. I wish everyone was as wonderful as he. Such a attitude!!! I love it!
Thanks again,
Shirley
WOW. Patrick Henry Huges is amazing. What a beautiful voice, great piano player, I truly enjoyed "Georgia". If all of us could have 1/2 of what Patrick has it'd be a better world! Ellen is also an amazing human being, compassionate, caring, and kind. Thanks for all of your wonderful shows!
Don't you just love the nut-jobs who use Ellen's site to promote their delusional religious philosophys? Get a life crazies!
Topic: A Gift of Prophecy
I asked Jesus for anointing, healing and prophecy and to tell me the month and year I will be caught up to meet Him in the air (re: rapture of the church, I Thes.4:16-18). It wasn't just the voice I heard that was so convincing; it was the warm soothing energy of the anointing that I felt for the first time in my life which occurred at the same time I heard a clear small voice say "April, 2009." That means the rapture of the "great multitude" 3 1/2 years later will occur around the time of the Feast of Trumpets in the fall of 2012.
I just got a computer and internet service and I intend to spread this good news to as many websites as possible in the months ahead. I have noticed through my own one-on-one conversations with people that many people have never heard of the rapture and don't have a clue what it is. The best commentary I have ever read on prophecy is a book published by Dr. Hilton Sutton. I am not affiliated with his ministry but he's the one who taught me about the rapture at a seminar in Madison, Wisconsin in 1974, and I have read his book "Revelation Revealed". I highly recommend it.
What a wonderful soul!!!!! If everyone would take the time to look at life like him. I am a gay single mother of two and I have people look down upon me everyday once they fine out that my partner is female. It is what is inside one's soul that maters.
I am watching this young man as I write this. What a beautiful concept this young man has!!
His out look is great....it is what is on the inside that counts.....What an inspiration!!!
His talented ability on the piano and his voice is outstanding!
If more of us had his outlook on life and our relationships with others....what a gift we would have!!!!
You go Ellen.........your shows are great and this guest is----.monumental!!!!!!!
I look forward to your show when I manage to get time off to be home in the afternoon.....
Thank you for this inspirational day!!!
P S I love to dance....not as good as you though....unless doing the polka....two step--keep up the great shows..........
I have seen Patrick Henry several times on TV programs.
He is a fantastic person with all the things he does. I have always heard that a person of his kind God has a special reason for them to be here. I love to hear him sing & play the panio. He is fantastic. I had seen on one of the websites he was in Houston, Tx this year. If I had know I would loved to gone to see & hear him.
We had the oportunity to watch Patrick perform with his band @ "Bands accross America" at the RCA dome in Indy. To watch he & his Dad was awesome. My son's band was also performing, He was such an inspiration to all of us. There was not a dry eye in the stands.
He has sure set an example for so many students with disabilities.
Thanks so much for sharing his story.
