I don't care what Matt and Shayne's real intentions were for being on the show, all I know is that I love watching them because they have great chemistry. They both have a great sense of humor and seem like they are truly in love and I will be truly saddened and disappointed if their relationship doesn't last. I like their David and Goliath combination. Someone commented previously that he could've chosen the "ideal" woman like Amanda who was the prettiest of all the girls. She was tall, closer to his height and seemed smart until she opened her mouth and found out she talked worse than a 6th grader. I was embarassed for her when she was having her conversations with Matt--HOW IRRITATING! Really too bad because she's the one that stuck out after they introduced all the girls, I didn't even notice Shayne whe she was introduced but the girl does grow on you because she has a great personality. Still, Amanda should've been in Chelsea's spot because I prefer Amanda than Chelsea who had a big and foul mouth. Shayne just seems like a very sweet, fun, easy going, honest person like we all agree...she also has a great sense of humor like Matt. I hope they last.

Hey ladies, I read on the internet that Matt Grant had a small role in the movie Skycaptain and the World of Tomorrow which stars Jude Law and Gwenyth P. also a movie called Knock Off with Jean Claude Van Damme---has anyone else read about that? I was kind of shocked because I don't think anyone knows that he's been in movies? That would be a slap in the face for those who don't like Shayne and think that she was on the show just to get publicity, if it's true about Matt then they'll say the same thing about him but I really don't care. I still think he is the most handsome out of all the other bachelors, not to mention the funniest as well. I could be mistaken about him appearing on those movies. I hope he does stay in the US and be on a TV show or get movie offers, he'd be a fine actor like someone stated on the previous comments.

Ellen, I'm so sad that I won't see Matt on TV anymore..I love him! I love his honesty, sense of humor and his handsome face! Shayne'll be lucky to be part if his family, they seemed like very loving and caring people like Matt, Shayne will fit right in. I'm glad they found each other. I'm surprised Matt is a big fan of George Michael, us that are almost 40 years old are the ones who grew up with his music (Wham) but like he said he's sort of an "old man" when it comes to certain things and music must be one of them. I am a huge George Michael fan too....my favorite songs are Praying for Time, Cowboys and Angels, of course Careless Whispers and Last Christmas. I wish I could win one of the 2 free tickets but probably won't be able to go anyway. Thanks for having Matt and Shayne on your show Ellen, I love it when you made fun of Shayne (the present) and I was cracking up on one of your episodes when you started singing Ashlee's song "I fear...." bwah ha ha! Everytime I watch that you make me forget how sad I am about The Bachelor being over. Maybe you could convice Matt Grant to join showbiz or the entertainment world...if not, maybe just host a show? Ellen, I love your show but I missed the Matt, Shayne episode. Please tell me if there is any possible way that i can see that interview. I think Matt made the right choice. Chelsea should not have spoken ill of Shayne. She is definitely not a lady. You go Shayne!!

Just had to comment on The Bachelorette show last night. For some reason I was trying very hard to find another guy with a great sense of humor like Matt Grant....so disappointed with those men. I guess there is only one Matthew Grant in this universe and he is taken. Good Lord, where did these "boys" from The Bachelorette come from? There were only 4 that seemed sincere. Jason who was a single parent, gotta admire him because we know that his son is the priority and not himself. Jeremy because he didn't seem arrogant, the same with Graham and the Chef. The science teacher is a weirdo but seems nice. Otherwise, the rest can all go home. I'm not interested in watching every episode. I've lost my appetite already. I didn't see one guy who had a good sense of humor...that guy that wore the hideous jacket thinks he is, at first he was but the more he opened his mouth, the more annoying he got. That "love my faith" guy, he was obviously very nervous sitting next to this pretty lady but my God, I'm a woman and I would have given Deanna my jacket, esp. when she's not wearing a bra! Hell, he looked colder than she did and he had a suit on. He did crash and burn like the guys said though. Goodluck DeAnna, you're a beautiful and smart girl so I know you'll find someone. I'll make sure to watch the last rose ceremony though.
