I am SO embarrassed for you. So, SP IMPERSONATED RF, who was the original lead singer? Really? Why in the hell would SP want to impersonate someone who was taking the band NOWHERE?!?!?

Don't be so droll. EVERYONE knows that RF was a lead singer before SP, so don't act like you're making a revelation on here or something. RF couldn't make it, so he left. SP joined, and took the band into orbit. AP joined, and has been riding the success that SP brought the band ever since. Period.

trying to recapture that same popularity with the next sound-a-like with a singer that sounds like a little fart who needs a bit of guidance. I wonder why people still think that Perry is an original band member of Journey. The guy only replaced and "IMPERSONATED" Robert Fleischman, the band's ORIGINAL legitimate frontman. Maybe you guys should ask Perry who originally wrote/co-wrote Anytime, Winds of March and For You which he eventually recorded on the Infinity album when Robert left the band due to disagreements. Most Americans are unaware that Journey, Kansas, Chicago etc. and most mainstream American rock bands for that matter were already famous in the Philippines even back in the mid 70s to early 80s and they also had their own fan base even then. Just ask any of the US Servicemen who've been stationed there since the 60s. Even if Arnel is Filipino, his countrymen won't necessarily support him if they see that he doesn't have any talent. We have so many bands here who cover western artists but very few have the exceptional voice that Arnel has. At about the same age as Arnel is right now, Perry already lost his voice so it's quite misplaced comparing the two but then again Arnel should be given credit for still hitting the notes at his age though not as consistently as one would've expected if he were still in his vocal prime. Arnel used to have a more female like voice than Perry and regularly sang "Open Arms" higher than the original key. Thank god his voice evolved and became more masculine.
