Ahem! Excuse me! but did I hear someone say: "If He Should Break Your Heart" You'd be "Forever In Blue"??? Don't go telling me "It's Just The Rain" When we both know "You Can't Tame The Lion" which may explain why "Still She Cries"! "When You Love A Woman" it's the "Colors Of The Spirit" That will lead you to "One More" "Trial By Fire". Is this a "Message Of Love" you ask??? "Don't Be Down On Me Baby" cause "When I Think Of You" it just so "Easy To Fall" And when I hear you say: "Baby I'm A Leavin' You" I don't believe you for one moment!
So Maybe that "Troubled Child" with "The Eyes Of A Woman" found herself up "Against The Wall" "After The Fall" and "Mother, Father" simply had no "Solutions" and your "Once In A Lifetime Girl" with the "Foolish Heart" was left to "Daydream" about "What Was". Am I making any sense here???

Sadly though, "Still They Ride" "Don't Stop Believing" "Oh Sherrie" cause "Once In A Lifetime, Girl" You may see "Majestic" "Lights" "When You're Alone" So just "Be Good To Yourself" "Just The Same Way" before "It's Too Late" A "Foolish Heart" is "What Was" and we cannot change that! "Forever Right Or Wrong" "People and Places" are a "Natural Thing" Don't star a "Chain Reaction" "Where Were You" when love came to town? "It Won't Be You" that stand in the "Line Of Fire" after all. "Lady Luck" has "Open Arms" "Faithfully" "you Better Wait" before you "Back Talk" without reasoning.
Wait "Patiently" until "The Party's Over" "Ask The Lonely" "Troubled Child" you will only find "Solutions" And Don't Worry, "I'll Be Alright Without You" so "Go Away" "Daydream" When you find yourself "Up Against The Wall" it is once again "Mother, Father" "Forever Right Or Wrong" who will be there looking into "The Eyes Of A woman" and smiling sweetly as they say "Good Morning Girl" So don't waste "Precious Time" "After The Fall" and "Don't Fight It" "Liberty" awaits you!

It's funny how Arnel can hit some of the high notes(but not all,so Deen does take the slack)but he can't pronounce all of the words(because it is english lyrics)
Thank god his voice evolved and became more masculine?
At about the same age as Arnel is right now, Perry already lost his voice so it's quite misplaced comparing the two but then again Arnel should be given credit for still hitting the notes at his age though not as consistently as one would've expected if he were still in his vocal prime.

I am the original "Real" sock puppet.As far as the sappy things that I try to preach to you,it's only a part of my ploy to play with your heads.I'm just the troll under the bridge to put you on the spot, when you cross my path.I've been living here for sometime now to copy/paste you guys so you can learn something about you're comments as well as mine.You and I are the ones in the mirror looking at Jonathan Cain writing songs about us being upset or different."Don't Stop Believing" while Arnel is being good at mimicking. My sweet love is learning like ourselves.
The Real Journey??? I was under the impression that all of those guys with Journey over the years were REAL! Some of them just didn't cut it though. Steve Perry has the right to live out his days in whatever way he chooses. After all he was the vocalist that brought them the fame they needed to keep their band going strong as long as the singer sounds like Steve Perry. Arnel may be good at mimicking but, Steve Perry was The Real Original, "The Voice" that told the band he wasn't ready to continue his career because of personal issues, and to do as they pleased. So they found Arnel who sings very close to what Steve Perry sounded like. Steve Perry was after all one of Arnel's greatest influences. Arnel has admitted this while being interviewed. That my friend is Real and true! Original enough???
Just Curious, Try not to take all of these post too seriously. For Real... There are more important things to focus on these days than to be bitter over difference in opinion when it comes to this poll anyway. Focus more on how to make the world a better place. You'd be surprised what ideas may come to you if you stay focused on who you are and where you fit in to the picture.
We are put on this planet to learn. We are individuals, differences in opinion may vary.
No reason to be upset, being different is what makes us "Real" individuals capable of thinking "Original" thoughts. As Steve Perry, Neal Schon, and Jonathan Cain wrote in their song...
"Don't Stop Believing" And yes, for now, Arnel is singing it... Doesn't mean he's the Real Original though, does it?
Believe in yourself and you will not be worried about what anyone else says.

It doesn't really matter who thinks who is better! We are all equal. Some of us were not meant to be seen so much as heard while others wait silently to find out just where they fit in to all of this. Actions speak louder than words. If it is truly happiness and love that you wish, "search you're soul, and when you find it there you'll search no more" "Search your Heart" when you find there's nothing left to hide...You've got to "Show a little kindness, shine your light for everyone to see" You will be truly amazed to find it's about "Forgiveness" "even if you don't love me" "Because if you keep carrying that anger, it'll eat you up inside" What the world needs now, Is LOVE SWEET LOVE!
