I see that the Steve lovers are the minority on this thread but ya know the fact is 1 million wannabes can try and sing Steve's songs and it just won't touch what he did no matter how hard they try. They may be good singers in their own right and more power to them but if they are singing the songs Steve made great and wrote at least half of or more they are just "covering" like a Vegas Elvis. The songs Steve helped write and sang or just sang were made hits because of his amazing voice, he made Journey a hit something they couldn't do without him singing Steve got them on the radio and on the charts and after they used him up they bashed him and I can't forgive that it was cheap and wrong! Neal and Jon should be ashamed of themselves if they are so good why don't they just try and make it with new material alone, because they can't that's why.
Go ahead and slam my post I will forever be a Steve fan and Journey with Steve fan but won't listed to a thing this Journey does from now on I have no respect for them.

Anyone who is looking for the "Revelation" cd should have no problem at all finding them. After all, there's piles and piles of them at Walmart..........because NOBODY IS BUYING THEM!! LOL!! To all you bleeding hearts who look at AP's "fairy tale" to bolster his sound-a-like prowess (Rich Little would be SO proud. If you don't know who he is, LOOK IT UP). Everyone knows that Journey is nothing without Steve Perry. I'm really embarrassed for "journey" to have to play at state fairs, when they should be playing stadiums. Oh, well. Nothing is forever..in that, sound-a-likes come and go. I hope AP is able to find a job when Neal finally let's him go............NEXT!! LOL!!

Journey's latest CD, REVELATION, is currently a WalMart exclusive. You should be able to find copies in any WalMart. It's a 3-disc set, with a CD of new material, a CD of re-recorded classics, and a live DVD. All for $11.88. Highly recommended!
No exact word to describe how amaze I am with Arnel's story. This is a version of modern fairy tale.

It is weird to see my fellow filipino's sing in American TV shows. First Charice now Arnel. WoW... Hopefully this opens up new doors for us to stop discrimation.
when you mock someone because of their accent, that's racist, because that's part of that individual's culture and racial identity. Filipinos idolized international entertainers all over the world, without hearing condescending comments,bought their records which contributed to their popularity and sensation of that group or that individual.They had done world tours to Asia that includes the Philippines.To some who cannot accept the fact that Arnel is the lead singer of Journey and is getting a lot of accolades and admiration makes them fearful of the unknown. Vanessa for one is INSECURE that someone is better than her IDOL. A lot of lead singers, guitarists and so on have come and gone with the popular JOURNEY but none have created so much hulabaloo until Arnel got into the picture.I beleive it is because he is ASIAN. They are so critical of him. You do not like him and his style then do not listen to him, let someoneelse's enjoy it. We did not get in the way when all the past JOURNEY were making records, In fact I adored JOurney songs since then. It did not matter who sings WHAT TO WHO.I bought their records. A lot of Filipinos were JOurney fans, Arnel Pineda just proved that. Let him live his dreams. It is notYOU VANESSA and the likes who will decide that. That is between Arnel and his MAKER who decides that just as you would like your own dreams realized.INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS HONEY is not something you give,it is God given RIGHT. those people who do not like AP are just nit picking trying to find faults. all I can say is to ignore them it is typical. AP/JOURNEY fans just sit back and enjoy the music otherwise you'll miss out trying respond to nonsense whiners. thanks ELLEN for being a worldclass entertainer. he's phenomenom...it's just a pure talent that Arnel got..and he uses it with so much passion, so we better be or should i say must be PROUD on this MAN by bringing our country to the world of best competitors....
