A few weeks back, I introduced you to my friend, 18-year-old KENSIE MONTALTO, who I met at a Make-A-Wish Foundation event. Kensie has been courageously battling the autoimmune disease, "dermatomyositis." After meeting her in Chicago, I invited her onto the show and surprised her with a call from Kenny Chesney. Then, we sent her to Las Vegas to report on the Academy of Country Music Awards. Thursday, Kensie will be back to tell us all about Las Vegas and the awards! Then, I have had the pleasure of interviewing Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. Now it's time to talk with the Republican candidate for president, a true American hero, Senator JOHN MCCAIN. We'll get some straight talk from the Senator from Arizona; I'll ask about his campaign, and I want to find out if it's really true that he once had a vodka drinking contest with Hillary. Plus, after moving to Puerto Rico, STEVE MCGARVA discovered that a nearby beach was a dumping ground for unwanted dogs. With his own money, Steve and his wife formed "Island Dogs," a foundation that has rescued 1,200 dogs and placed 500 around the US. I can't wait to meet this wonderful man with a mission, whose selfless actions have helped so many warm and furry souls.
