We know that Jason wasn't your favorite. Most of the time you could not even remember his name but please, please have FUN with him. He is amazing and he has taken a beating from some of your friends (Ryan too). He is a riot! Enjoy him! We do!

You realllly need to listen to this kid and understand HIM. He is HOPE that our young people WILL be ok! He is an intelligent, well rounded, happy, decent, christian boy! His Faith and Family are the most important thing to him. He has brought so much happiness to all of us, his smile is contagious and his own music touches the soul!

Love your show! Hope you have Jason Castro on your show. He's a really wonderful singer and all around good guy. He really got bashed on Amer. Idol, be gentle. He's got a great sense of humor and I think he would love being on your show.

Oh my gosh! His voice is absolutely amazing! Not only is his singing beautiful, so is he! He's gorgeous! I'm so, so dissapointed to see him go though. I think he didn't want to be there anymore. I really, really, really hope that he comes out with an album! I'll be one of the first to buy it!!

The number one reason you have a huge fanbase of all ages, from young girls who want to date you to people like me who could be your Mom ( I have 2 Aggies at A&M right now) is that you are a real talent and you stayed true to yourself the entire time you were on AI. You refused to morph into what others might have wanted (looks, song choices, singing style etc.). America respects you tremendously and will buy your CD. Stay pure, stay the same Jason that America fell in love with as an artist, and you will be around for a long long time.

We all know who your favorite AI is this season, but when you interview Jason Castro just have a lot of fun with him. (Not sure what your idea of fun will be on the show, but I know it will be really great!) He has been bashed so much on the AI show and in the media, but he handles everything with such style and class. He just seems to let it roll off his back and just wants to have a good time. He seems to be a nice person from interviews, has such a quirky sense of humor, and yes is so talented musically. I can't wait to see Jason again and to see you also. Yes, I am one of Jason's and your biggest fans! All the dreadheads will be watching our Jason on your show next week!
I'm a 44 year young(!) Jason Castro fan from Toronto, Canada. Occasionally watched AI in the past but nothing serious - until I saw the boy with the dreadlocks. HOOKED!! He had the amazing soothing voice to match that wonderful and genuine personality. I'm so looking forward to hearing more of his music...and I hope he never gets rid of the dreads!
I will definitely buy Jason's CD when it comes out. (Note: I'm 38 years old - NOT a teeny bopper!) His voice is beautiful. I'll be forever grateful to him for his performances of Hallelujah and Over the Rainbow - pieces of pure musical gold.
Jason is my favorite contestant that has ever been on the show. I have never been so intrigued by a singer before!I loved everything he sang, but i could tell that the past few weeks he just didnt seem to excited to be on the show. So, even though i voted for him like a bazillion times on Tuesday night, i was happy he got to go home:) And if he every makes a cd, I'll be sure to buy it!
I am so glad he is finally gone!! He has a charming look but could never sing from the beginning and he only got worse and worse every week. Thank God he is gone
The show is based on talent not looks which it seems to be happening which is sad... and he doesn't have it to cut the recording industry because he is a free spirit. Nothing bad about that, but it was definitely his time to go. I just can't see him holding down a schedule to tough it out to do an album right away... but its up to him now. He just wasn't strong enough to be the next AI. Good kid though.
It was time for Jason to go, he is a cutie patootie but he should have been voted off long ago, he is not that great a singer. He is totally hot, and a nice person but others in the competition were much better singers.
I LOVE JASON CASTRO!!!!!!!!!!!! and am upset he is off the show! But, if he really was homesick and wanted to be done, then i guess there is nothing i can do about it! He is a great singer and...well...Jason = Hot Stuff!

To all of those who say that you can not sing as well as the other contestants, they are right. Your voice is too simple, too breathy, too pale by comparison to some of the others. Which is exactly why I am sooo impatient for you to relesas your own cd (full of your own music). Because I have been waiting too long for someone like you to come along.
Jason, thank you for showing that there are still people being born who are better than most.

What I love about Jason is his honesty. The tone of his voice puts a smile on my face every time. He puts his heart and soul into what he sings, and he was so frustrated because he didn't have time to really do that with 2 songs and very little time to practice. I'll admit that he wasn't really shining toward the end because he is so honest and doesn't fake a connection with the song when it just isn't there. Have you ever listened to his original songs or downloaded his studio recordings? They are amazing. I am so glad I looked him up online or I might not have gotten a chance to know just how talented this kid is. I know you are going to love him when you meet him!
