im really his biggest fan i dont mean to be competetive but at his audition i god i loved him from the start to the end alwase- jason castros biggest fan.

Jason Castro was the highlight of all the AI contestants,for me. I think Jason was treated unfairly, and point to Randy Jackson for his statement on Larry King that he would not sign Jason even though Larry's poll indicated Jason was number one with the fans. Other subtle stabs at Jason were glaringly apparent toward the end of season 7. Fans notice these things about their favorite, and we found Jason's lack of perfection endearing.

Despite this AI hasn't lost me as a viewer. After all AI gave us the opportunity to discover a rare gem like Jason Castro. They gave him a start and he will do fine without them now. He is a true natural, without the inflated ego that a lot of celebrities take on. I love his voice and I love his quirky looks. I am impatiently waiting for Jason's first album, along with millions of Jason's fans.

Wouldn't it be neat if someone made a movie about Absalom, King David's son with the beautiful hair, and Jason with his wonderful dreadlocks played the lead? Oh, I would just love that.

I think he should have won american idol.
He dosent have to practice being good beacuse it comes naturally to him.

I love watching your show. I am Indonesian but live in England, married and have one child. I desperately want to have JASON CASTRO's CD of all the songs that he sang on the American Idol ... 'Michelle, If I fell, Hallelujah, Travelling, Somwhere Over The Rainbow, Memory, Forever blue jeans ... everyone of them'. Jason has such an angelic voice and to know he's a good Christian is such beautiful feeling (as a mother). At the moment, I can only listen to his voice through Youtube.com - I listen his songs while working, cooking and doing all sorts of houseworks. It's just SO WONDERFUL to hear his voice. I was looking forward to you with Jason but I have to say i was disappointed that you asked him about the idiotic vote/don't vote thing. A speech anguage pathologist confirmed what Jason said that the consonant he mouthed was "V" becuse it's made formed with the teeth. Besides, he already had said he didn't say "don't vote" so you were basically saying he was a liar. Does Jason look like a liar? I thought you might help expose the scandal that Jason had much higher vote count than Syesha and maybe even one or both of the Davids. Why didn't you air on the side of truth? I always thought you told it like it was?

So... How come no one realizes that he was dating Cheyeene when she was moving from Rockwall, Texas. Oh well. I love his dread and I didn't live very far from him. To bad If I would have known he new my friend Geter I would of tryed to kick it with him. He seems really cool. :)

I bought all of his tunes on i-tunes....it's the only thing i listen to...over and over and over...he's just "simply beautiful" to listen to....I'm glad he's out of that show....as one can see from his attitude, he is WAY above that show and the employees....Rock on Jason....Rock on!

We're big fans of Jason but we're not sad that he got vote out, he is a winner anyway. Great voice, great style, beautiful face and nice personality, he can start making cds', we're ready to buy them.

Hi ellen! I am one of the biggest fans of Jason Castro here in the Philippines! Yeah, that's how genuine he is -- he can touch lives of people from thousands of miles away. I've never been this attached to a music artist and I must say it's more than just pure admiration to his talent. It's his personality, his character, and how he inspires me that really made me thankful for his existence. He unknowingly taught me so much about life and from reading his post-Idol interviews, he made me realize that "hey! in life you just have to have fun, and i shouldn't take myself seriously." I hope he'll get to visit the Philippines and I'm praying to God I can talk to him personally to tell him how much he's appreciated not only as a singer, but more importantly,(and what matters the most) as a PERSON living out his PURPOSE. He's definitely God's blessing to me, to us!

I have never been obsessed with AI before this season. I have loved Jason Castro since his first words came out of his mouth! He is so unique and sounds so much like nothing else I have ever heard. I was praying that AI would notice and allow someone such as Jason to win because he is not your average singer. When he sings, his voice sounds so beautiful!! I am so disappointed that he is gone. I KNOW HE WILL BE BACK!!

I absolutely love listening to Jason Castro! I find myself listening to him over and over and over. There is just something about Jason's voice and style that just penetrates my soul. He just oooozzes passion of every type.

What an inspiring, unique, talent Jason Castro has exhibted on American Idol. I am a 52 year old woman who tuned in each week just to hear him sing, as well as voted for him. This was the first time I had any interest in AI but when I heard his voice one night from another room I was riveted by his performance.
Not only has he inspired so many with his talent but with his courage to stay true to who he is and not conform to American Idols "consumer prouduct". For a young man his age not to succumb to the pressure and stand up for his beliefs is refreshing and admirable.
I loved when he said that he wasnt defined by American Idol whether he was 20th or 4th...What an amazing young man.
He has fantastic stage presence and emotional connection.
There are thousands of fans awaiting his first CD. I will be one of the first to purchase it.
