Dear Ellen,
My name is Merci' Fuller and I am a 26 year old single mom of 2. I am one of your biggest fans I watch your show everyday even if i have to see it on tivo. I know you were just in Chicago recently and i was not able to get tickets, Ellen you just don't know how angry that made me. Both my friends and i tried to get tickets and no one was successful. I dont get too much time for myself being a mom of 2, a cosmetologist, plus i also care for my 78year old grandfather. Ellen I am trying desperately to get both my 6 and 1 year old sons in the modeling field,I know you feature different kids on your show for various reasons and i was wondering if you could be the person to help me get there faces out to the world. pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease Ellen

Always,
Merci'

Hi Ellen,
I know last year you started a list of things you want to do and invited your viewers to do the same. Did you make any progress on your list? I made my list also. On my list I hope to meet Marie Osmond, Cameron Mathison, and of course you. I've got other things I'd like to do too. Any advice on how I can accomplish some of the things on my list?

Hi Ellen:
Why is it that you don't dance with Striker?
(don't know if I spelled he's name right),by
the way he is cute!! You use to go and dance with
Johny sometimes, but you never dance with Striker.
We want to see him dance.

I am not sure if you will see this or not but I wanted to share with everyone what my beautiful little Daughter, Cassidy, wrote for me for mother's day at school. She just turned 7 on May 7th and is in grade 1.
Dear Mom
I love you because when I am sad you make me happy again. I love your pizza! I think you are beautiful. I love you like the stars in the night sky. You make my heart beat very fast. You are out of this world. I love you so much. I love when we have cuddle time. I love your hair. Happy Mothers Day!
Love Cassidy.
She told me that when she was writing it at school she just looked up and thought about me and this came into her head.
I know if ever I have a bad day I am going to run to my fridge(where I have it hanging)and read this letter and everything will be ok again.
(and I will be sure to stock up on Kraft Pizza mixes)
Thanks for letting me tell the world about how proud and happy I am to be her Mom.

Ellen,
My 22 month old and I watch your show together every day (although I have to DVR it because your show is on during Sesame Street!) Right after Sesame, we watch you, and she waits for your Ca-Caw, and then turns to me, to see if I heard it, and then repeats you. It's the cutest thing! Then, when you dance, she gets up and tries to shake it! Even funnier, is that she could point you out before she could point out Grandma and Grandpa. One day I was video taping her while we were watching you, and out of the blue I said, "Where's Ellen?" and she turned and pointed to the TV. I was shocked! I didn't know that she knew your name, but sure enough... Now, when I ask her "what does Ellen do?" she will either go "Caw" or dance. Usually it's the "Caw." She waits for it every episode! It's amazing how you can reach a child so young!!!
Sincerely,
Jennifer Chandonnet,

Dear Ellen,

My seventeen year old daughter, Katherine is absolutely in awe of the band, NLT. I've heard a few of their songs myself and I'll admit their very talented. They sound nothing like you'd think they would, by just looking at them. They're not that bubblegum pop, as some people put it, either. I don't think I've heard a good boy band that I've enjoyed since, All 4 One.

NLT is one of VERY few of the bands, I don't mind Kat playing over and over again. Because I don't mind listening to them myself. That proabably sounds a bit peculiar for a forty-three year old woman going on forty-four this year, to admit to, but it's the truth. Kat tells me NLT's name stands for Not Like Them and I'd agree, they're certainly different. Some of their songs even have a hip hop beat to them, and they don't include degrading women or the use of vulgar language.

When Katherine first played some of their songs, I started dancing, a little. Of course, that was before she told me to stop. Yes, Ellen you've got me beat in that department. Kat mentioned to me that the band was going on some kind of tour this year. I'd planned on getting her tickets for her birthday, in April but the band hadn't posted any upcoming shows, close by.

I was just about as upset about it, as she was. So I was hoping that you'd consider having the boys on your show. Kat and me watch you everyday! There's no way we'd miss that. I'm a single mother of four.

And where I work I don't usually get off until five, so Kat tapes your show for me. Katherine's my oldest, my first born. This is her junior year of high school and she'll be graduating next year. Hopefully, her getting to watch them on your show, will some what help makeup for the concert, at least a little. Her favorite band, on her favorite show.

Ellen I'd REALLY APPRECIATE if you'd have NLT on the show! You won't be disappointed, by these guys!

- Pat

Hi Ellen,
I am such a big fan of your show and was so excited when I realized your mother's day show would be on and I was finally pregnant for the first time. My family and my best friends family all emailed in to try and get tix for the show, but didn't get any. So on Wedensday night, my best friend and I (am 10 wks prego) camped out in front of your studio for the first time mom's show. Your poor staff were unloading until 10pm!! We got there around 8pm and security told us where to camp out. We were really hoping to be able to get in for the stand by tix. Unfortunately after sleeping out in the cold all night, and tracking over to the Shell station 3 times for potty breaks (you know pregnant women not one sip and I still had to go, lol). We were first in line, with the second people coming in at 5:30 am, then after around 7:30 am the rest of 6 people came for standby tickets. We were told nope no room, we couldn't even get a standby ticket. And it hurt that one of the ladies there used her sister's name to get in because she told us that she had already been during this season. She even told the brown haired gal that was giving the stand by tickets that, and she still got in. Also, she wasn't even pregnant!! She admitted that much to the 8 of us sitting there. Needless to say I was crushed!! We camped out all night, had many a people from the studios stare at us like we were crazy, which we were!!! We were really sad, well I was simply devastated. Also, I was hurt because four of those people drove up in a mercedes and had louis vutton wallets. These people could afford some of the items you were giving away, as for me, I can't afford any one of those items. It's ok but I was really hurt. I thought for sure your staff might have seen that we camped out all night and how much it meant to us to be able to be on the show. Also, since the show is for first time moms I would not have this chance again, ever. Needless to say my husband had to give me a tylenol pm at 6:30pm last night just to calm me down and get me to sleep. I was balling for hours. He told me life isn't fair and I know it isn't but when I see people who can so obviously afford those things just come and be rude to us it really hurt. I thought better of people.
I am not a big complainer but with my hormones so crazy and waiting for 13 hours I thought for sure they would at least let us sit in the bathrooms!!! hahaha. We would've sat on the floor or worked for you for the day!! Well I am still a loyal Ellen fan and will be watching all those lucky people who got in. Also, I did try to call everyday for the last week to get standby tix but the message never changed, only message is about your Chicago show. I honestly thought Stand by tickets were meant for people to stand by outside and wait. I guess I thought that because of your 12 days of giveaways I saw that your camera crew were outside and you felt bad and let some of those people in. Your crew was very nice that night and even said "hi" to us as they were still unloading of all the goodies into the studio, that was around 8:15pm or so. Well I hope you get this letter. I am still an avid Ellen watcher. Hoping you have a great day!!

Sincerely,

Denise Miles

Hello Ellen, we love you and your show. If I had one wish and only one wish it would be that my daughter could go back to college, we were fooled into believing we could keep her in college, she went to a college three hours away from home and we received 2,000.00 bill and i paid it. please understand I make a hundred dollars a week my husband makes about three hundred a week we have two children, she came back home and started college closer to home, we talked to all the people and signed paperwork that these school people told us we had to sign for my daughter to go to there school we did not get to read the paperwork and we did not get any copies of paper work after she went through school for her first year, we struggled with money to provide for her for that year, the next school year we get her things together and take her back to college and they gave my a 12,000.00 dollar bill and said we have to pay it before she can ever come back and she can not took anyother class anywhere until we pay this NOW her future is lost. I no I am to blame but am I the only one this has happened to? and can you do a show on Our children and college, my daughter will never be able to attend college again and she is lost, from one of the best children in the world to a lost soul kid, she is changing everything about herself, she dont drink or say bad words, never in trouble but now she will tell me life is bad and she is not apart of it. (I went wrong by trusting "professional" school people) where does this leave her. So, if I had one wish in this word it would be for her to return to college, even adverse could help. Thank you we are some of your biggest fans, God Bless

Ellen,
I can't believe you are having another baby shower. I have been pregnant basically for two years. When I was pregnant with my first kid I was living in a new area, and I didn't have very many friends. I remember thinking that it would be a real hoot to send you a baby shower invitation, but I never did. Instead, about a month after I had that idea you went and threw a baby shower on your show. I couldn't believe it! Than five months after I had my first daughter, surprise, I got pregnant again! Since I never had a real baby shower, and I was again living in a new place I thought that I should throw myself a baby shower just so I could invite you, but it never happened. Now that I have two kids (A 19 month old, and 5 month old) I am pretty sure that my opprotunity for having a baby shower is over. I am not sure how you recruit for your shows, but if you ever decide to throw a post pregnancy party can you let me know? Maybe that party we could have excercise equipment, or trips to places with daycare for all those over worked, and under slept Moms.
Love a viewer who watches you everyday,
Shauna
P.S. This last request is worth a shot, but if you have any cribs left over could you throw one my way? perferbly white.

Hi Ellen,
A mother I had always wanted to be and with four of my own and many more that needed years of a home with a mother I have been blessed many times over. If you ever help or bless a mother on mothers day I am requesting that you honor my children on this special day. I would not of walked and been able to face the many, many challenges we as mother and children have walked together and faced. I am not talking just years with no money for food or back to school clothes, or money for vacations or braces and much needed dental work or a car but, those challenges plus many serious medical problems and many faced with no other family accept those of my wonderful children, now adults and thier prayers, smiles and hugs that allowed me to lead or hold those hands and walk forward. For many years working up to 80 hours a week or holding two jobs and with a fight to provide just the basics in our this material world we live. Making many mistakes and failing in so many ways my gang has always been there with a hug, a smile, in tears to remind me that we are a family and we will make it. And on mothers and fathers day taking time to remind me how special I am to them. Ellen these guys and I have never had money to do many things that seem so frequent and common with so many of thier friends. Even at this time faced with having to move and trying to find the funds that are just not there as I have had to have a number of surgeries in this last year. So, for all the blessings being their mother has filled me with for the hugs, the songs they broke out and were sung together (as music can feed our souls) and for those hard times they came and spoke in soft words "that's ok mom, I understand" knowing the heaviness in thier hearts and in my soul yet, praying it will make them stronger and better adults for going with out another time. Please Ellen if you are sharing special things on this mothers day, I think they would deserve it and not me. I could not of been any type of a mother if they each did not have such special souls. I am honored and humbled to be their mother and for the many blessings and the strength they continue to give. So, I think they are the ones that should be honored on this Mother's Day; Really Ellen, what kind of a day would it be without them?
Thanks for your time Ellen and thanks for having such a great show and taking the time making sure that it gives something to everyone if they take the time to watch.

I Pray you are able to understand what I have shared with you as it was done quickly as my emotions are raw as I am writting.

Hi Ellen

Regarding lyrics that we don't understand - We have been trying to figure out a lyric in one of our favorite songs Waling In Memphis... But we can't figure out what it means:

Then I'm walking in Memphis
Walking with my feet ten feet off of Beale
Walking in Memphis
But do I really feel the way I feel

What is a Beale? We don't know in Pittsburgh.
Thanks

Hi Ellen,
This Bachalor thing is driving me nuts.He is a player,he says he has a connection to every girl. You should do a clip of all the things he says to these poor girls and all his make out sessions before he cuts them loose. Why kiss someone if you know you're not choosing them, did I metion PLAYER.He obviously knows who he is going to choose ahead of time but still drags the other girls through lies.I liked the children's book author and Amanda.I do hope her and Stryker work out, they would have cute kids.OK so when they showed us scenes to the final eposode they showed the girls hand that he puts the ring on so I went back on my dvr and try to figure out if its Shayne or Chelsie.I think its Chelsie's hand.I think both are the wrong choice.Shayne is way to young to get married.I think she really does care for him but she's all about the drama as we seen within the first two weeks of the show.Chelsie doesn't like to hold hands and they are more like friends anyway.Who doesn't like to hold hands?Whats wrong with her?Who ever the lucky girl is I hope they can make it work especially when it comes down to who's moving where.Love the show Ellen. You're awesome.

I do The Aura show/Rap, Rhyme & Arithmetic, we do Healing Through The Arts from bad experiences. It's mostly for young people who have been sexually assualted and victims of domestic violence. We get them to talk out about it, rap about it, dance about it, write about it and what ever talents they have. We would like a shout out and I wish you could play one of their songs.
Loved you in Chicago, even if
I did have to sit across the streets and almost hang by a pole to see you.
Love you Aura.
