Last Wednesday night, Brooke White, the 24-year-old former nanny from Mesa, Arizona, made an emotional but grateful exit from "American Idol." We hope that by Monday her tears will be dry, because Brook will be joining me to tell us about her experience and to sing a little something from Carly Simon. SHE IS THE GREATEST! So talented, so beautiful, so pure. I saw her in concert this summer and somehow I loved her even more after that!!! I did not know that was possible!!

First of all...Jason made it that far because America thought he should....I could soooo go on about someone else's "rockability" but I won't...because one of the most endearing qualities about Jason is his wonderful, soft, rich, warm voice...which brings about a PEACEFUL feeling...and dogging the other contestants is not what he is about OR his fans...Jason said his parents taught him to never make someone look bad....i think you people need to take a few lessons learned from him....you just DON'T get it...but that's ok....cuz his fans do....PEACE!
Didn't want to see Brook leave, But I really didn't want to see Michael Johns leave he was my choice. Idol is not as good as it use to be. This year stinks.
I would never miss Idol when it came on. Made my plans around it. This year oh well I missed it, Thanks God for the Judges, still love watching them. Ya, You would make a great judge on Idol, think of that.

sorry got so sick of hearing brooke, every song she sang was aike and that could never be an american idol.
I am sad when one is eliminated, but as we know, there can only be one.
I was a big Amanda fan. She got the old heave ho. I then became a Carly fan and when she left, I became a Michael fan. He too, got the axe. Now, I am a David Archuletta fan. I think I just gave him the whammy. If he goes next, I am not watching anymore. I think I am zapping them or something.
Besides talent, Brooke brought a presence to the show that cannont be replaced or filled by any other contestant. I've been watching American Idol since season 1, and Brooke is by far my favourite contestant ever. Best of luck, we know you'll go far! We all love you, Brooke.
I agree about Jason. I have stopped watching American Idol after Kristy left. Kristy was sick when the show began and she was always in the bottom three I really felt that her hopes were crushed and she never showed the true Kristy, she had the whole package, looks, she was strong and the camera loved her.
I can't see myself idolizing someone who looks like he just fell out of bed, the other David is to shy. Jason's hair can you imagine what lives in it he has no voice or tone.
The black girl she has the whole package and I hope that she will win.
Brooke is fantastic. I just downloaded her "Songs From the Attic" CD and enjoy it immensely. I would recommend everyone get it from iTunes or at www.brookwhite.com. Brook may not have made it to the end, but she is a winner in our eyes, as is Ellen. Brook will be able now to get on with her career, without some of the limitations of Idol, and will surely have a long and successful career. Way to go Brook! It was so nice to have such a courteous and sensitive performer on the program. You will be sorely missed. Thanks Ellen for all you do and the support you give to all.
I definately think the voting system needs to change! brooke is such a greater talent than Jason Castro. As was Carly sorry to sound rude but when Jason sings all it reminds me of is Tiny Tim, singing in a field of flowers with butterflies dancing around his head. Not a good voice range! Ellen you're the best and keep bringing good people to good t.v.
i am personally glad brooke is gone. i think she was just a little too emotional for me and was lucky to have even made it that far. plus i think its annoying when the contestants talk back to the judges and she had a really bad habit of doing that.
i'm pulling for the davids to the end!
I think it was time for Brooke to go. I do feel Jason should have gone first, and Michael Johns should still be there....
