hello ellen how are you?
well my mum has been through a tough life my grandparents used to abuse her as a little child. Then when she was a teenager she had a car accident. After that she had depression for a long time. And got very sick and she was in hospitial for a couple of weeks. Now i have gone up to a young mother myself i dont wont my children to go through what my mother and i have been through. Not long a ago she was in hospitial again with heart problems and so i thought what she really needs is to relax before she gets any older so i was thinking what might cheer her up is a beatiful luxury holiday so she can spends some quit time alone. well thanks for everything you do to make people smiling. from gillian mathews in marino in south australia.

Will ellen my mom needs a newer washer and dryer. She be throught alot since 2003. Start out she break her ankle then she found out there was more medical thing wrong with her. IF she could win the washer and dryer i believe it would be so much easier for her do the clothes. She feels bad when she can not go down stairs do the clothes. This would mean so much to her. Her and my father raised 5 kids. they had tough times in there life. So i am just asking you to think about give my mom one. SHe watches you everyday.She thinks about other people before yourself. hi ellen . would like to say oprah cant touch you ,You are the most compassionet,care women i evey seen ,your allways helping one way or another,you are so real,i watched your show today it was so warm ,it made me cry for all thoses mothers ,my soon to be wife didnt know but i tried getting her on it,because like all thoses other mothers they belonged there,tina will allways be #1 in my book,she went through a lot in the past yearshe lost our first son tristan due to complacation early in her pregnecey it has taken us to our knees,then she has lost her grampa,it like the world was crashing down on us,.No it didnt keep her down,when her freind needed her in nevada tina was there to supportand help any way she can ,when another freind needed support with her pregenecey,tna was there,puttig her feelings a side ,,well its allways helping others first ,then your self right, ellen great news shes 8 months pregent now,i tryed getting down their by posting my vote for her,ive tried evry thing ,but got layed off,but ellen my soon to be wife loves you and your show so much,she would do any thing just to be their in the auidence, i would do what every it took to get her there i would clean bathrooms ext.. any ways ellen thanks for listening from your freind in wisconsin

I lost my Mom 10 years ago at age 41 of ovarian cancer. I have since become very close to my Mother-In-Law and am very blessed to have her in my life.
I am celebrating my second Mother's Day this year. I am a very proud Mom of two boys, 21 months and 4 months old.

I was very close with my mom for all my 45 years until her early death at age 70. She was always there for me, I talked with her every day after I got married at age 19 and I don't spend a day without thinking of her in some way.

my mother was a very good mother. she rasie four children and hard work and go to school to be a nurse. my mother died at a young age at 52 of cancer. she still was a strong mother still the end.

Hi Ellen. I also wanted to honor my mom and my sister. They were my rock through my whole pregnacy last year. With them I wouldn't have found the strength to deliever my baby girl. My husand was visiting my in-laws in Mexico. Sad for him he wasn't there. But they were and I am proud of them.

dear ellen i am writing in honor of my mother joan she is what the word means she is so down to earth .she is a widow and after her life partner had passed she just keeped up who she is a true woman that doesnt need anything in life except too see her kids succed in what they try to do just like your mom and she is also a great mom just take a second and say teri your right ,my mom is another women on earth that has too make the world a better place for all gods children one more thing ellen you have to have a guardian

my mom is the best mom ever she gives to all her kids all the time .she never asks for nothing for her self even if she has nothing she still gives to all of us .if one of us ie having troubles she drops every thing and comes to help.she is the best my sister died five years ago and she took it real hard .she never does nothing for her self its always her kids or her sisters and brother or friends .
