Everyone crying that David A. has not been on the show. He is probably busy starting and rehearsing for the tour. I also heard that he has a little deal going for him, that is going to make David A. huge.. Out of all the years of A.I. David C. brought on emotion, passion and orginality. All David A. did was sing what he was told to sing.
David A. fans, relax he is not going anywhere.

Hey Ellen =)
First of all, I would like to say that I lovee your show, even though I can't see it all because I am not from the USA, but I watch some videos on youtube =)
And I agree with Lisa, you should have Archie on your show! He's sooo adorable and incredibly talented and you can tell that he's a fan of you because he was very excited on the red carpet when Anthony was there!
Anyways I LOVE your show and congrats on the wedding =D

Ellen,
I tried to post a picture of my David Cook shirt that I made for the finale but it didn't post! It was so cool, though. And I was so happy when he won. He really is a great singer, he has talent. Me, my mom and sister have been rooting for him since we first saw him! It was a good thing he tried out! I will buy all his CD's and go to see him when the Idol tour comes to GA! As a matter of fact, I'm listening to David Cook singing "Innocent" right now! When he won, me, my mom and sister jumped up and SCREAMED! We were so happy! This was the first time the person that we wanted to win, won. I can't wait until his first album comes out! I love him! We were so happy when he won, and we took pictures of the TV screen of him singing the winning song! That's how cheezy we are, but we love him! And he was so great on your show yesterday, great song. Ah! I love 'em! (:

I was watching your show - thrilled to see David Cook - then an urgent weather bulletin came on and about 10 minutes of your show, including D.C.'s performance, were wiped out. Hoping I can find that piece on YouTube or your very own website.

omg! i was so thrilled when david cook won american idol! he was ALL DESERVING! i loved the fact that he applauded archie after he was over his initial shock; and also that he invited all the other idol contestants to join him on stage!
DAVID you ROCK! I LOVE YOU!

i'm still waiting to see the episode. they haven't yet showed in here in goa,india. i hope it airs soon.. i'm was just waiting to catch all the possible inteviews.. i love his personality and his down to earth attitude. he's so witty.. cool..

Ellen, I love your show!!! You can always make me laugh and smile, you are the bright spot in my day. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HAVING DAVID COOK ON YOUR SHOW!!!!!! I loved watching him every week on American Idol, he is a CLASS ACT!!! He has so much talent and grace, I'm sure he will be famous.I can't wait to buy his cd's!!
Please re-run your show with David Cook, my dvd player failed to record your show and I was very upset that I missed your show and David. Will you let your fans know when this show will be on again? Thank you!!!

David Cook is good.I am disappointed like many that you didn't have Daivd Archuletta or even Syesha on.All of the other contestants were on.Guess you didn't like these runner up or 3rd place person!

Hi David, I'm so happy that you did end up auditioning for this year's American Idol. Otherwise we would have been deprived of your awesome voice & stage presence. I can honestly sat that I voted for you every single week, and the Tuesday before the finale I voted 3 1/2 hours non stop with your number on speed dial.

And YES, I will definitely buy your 1st CD, & 2nd & 3rd and so on! Until then I have downloaded every one of your songs & videos from iTunes. Even though I love watching you perform, I love listening to my David Cook mix as well. That's my tried & true method.. If you still like to listen to someone WITHOUT watching them sing, you've found a well rounded artist. And that's what you are. I'll be seeing you at the next Grammy awards show AND the Academy Awards too!

Cook had me at "Hello." That was it, he got my votes and my itune money from then on. Only regret was that I didn't make his "Hello" my ringtone before it went away from Itunes. I'm middle aged and I've taught my daughter Cook is the type of music that won't be a thing of the past. He had all the ages watching him. Thanks for having him on the show. Also thanks for letting Simon know the week before that he can really hurt people. I think that helped with him saying he was sorry. But even Simon couldn't stop the votes for someone as talented as David Cook.
If you are ever giving away tickets for the summer concerts or even his first concert. PICK ME, PICK ME!

I can't get enough of David Cook so thanks for having him on your show today. Please have him on as soon as he releases his first CD.
It's nice to see new talent coming from such a nice, decent person, who sings great songs with great feelings!! David is a breath of fresh air. Darn that I am 62.......or is he just too young???? I am sad in a way that Idol is over for the season......knowing I would see David each Tues. and Wed. night made my long work day go a bit faster!!

I, like so many others, saw something special in him from the very beginning. David, stay as sweet and humble as your are now, because this is just the beginning of a long run!!

I miss David Cook aggg I was at the speech for my kids im sad I had know Idea he was going to on ellen today please show him again. He is #1 in my book he's a hottie. Love ya ellen

Ellen...I lived in Puerto Rico and recorded tuesday's show to see David Cook interview and the channel affiliate here showed the very first show of your LAST season (september 2007). I was really mad!!! There is any way I can view this show again??????
