Laughter is really good medicine, and you're providing loads of it! I've been sick since March and recently diagnosed with a bad case of mono (I'm 40 for Gods sake!!). I've been trying to do my volunteer work, take care of my husband and 6 year old daughter and been told to 'rest". Well, the days I watch your show (and LOL a lot), I feel better. I cried with the dog rescuer and your honoring of the NBC gal, but you've just got a gift for bringing out the best! I loved the interviews with McCain, Bush family and Will Smith.

I try to see your show as often as possible. I got to watch your show televised on Tuesday May 27, 2008. You had Dr. Wayne Dyer on and he spoke of showing someone a kindness.
I am a 69 year old lady who enjoys sports. Here in Rhode Island we are huge Boston Red Sox fans. Their farm club is located in Pawtucket, R. I.. Last year I heard that one of our tenants here at the elderly housing also loves sports. She is wheelchair bound and very hard of hearing. I asked her if she would like to attend one of the games. Her remark was that I would have to push her chair and that because of her hearing problem she was afraid that she would not enjoy her trip. I put this all aside, took her and now she is HOOKED. Since her hearing aid was broken I have been trying to get her some assistance. So far the State says she does not qualify because her health insurance does not cover this item. Oh well, that's par for the course.
Again I love your shows, keep up the good works you do. Katherine and I send you all our LOVE.

I, like Ellen try to always let people out/in etc. when driving. I hope that that person will remember and do the same.
I try to compliment people when I can. I think it's so important for people to know that someone cares or notices. You never know what they could be going through.

Ellen, Baby - who is giving birth to EMMA's Small Rain? They asked for instructions for the President May 15, 2007. It was a "secret service". I've only just now managed to hoover these memory loops into soup. The problem is their check is no longer good. Did we date Love? How would I not know know what time it is? Can we still kiss?
The other day I came out of the grocery store with my 2 little girls in tow only to find a van parked directly behind our van. I became irritated and was ready to get them to move as it was pretty rude to park blocking not only my van but a few others. Upon arrival I found 2 women looking very worried and with one talking on the phone. It appeared the tire was flat and couldn't move, she was calling her husband to come and repair the tire. She was very sorry. I thought it is a time of little kindness. She was a little nervous but within 10 mins. I had the tire repaired and she was ready to go. She insisted $20 for my trouble. I said no, just help out the next person in trouble and pass it on. Two great things happened that day. 1.It made me feel great. 2.I hope I instilled a little kindness in my 2 little girls that they can pass it on.

What if occupying countries like Iraq and Afghanistan ? and bombing Pakistan ? is directly related to the hatred directed toward us and has nothing to do with being free and prosperous?
