i think that david archuleta will win this season. he has been consistent and he has an amazing voice. he is only 16 but he is mature and im pretty sure he can handle it if he has handled it throughtout the competion. i think he will be more of a pop singer and will sing what kids want to listen to. he may be the winner because of his very large fanbase.

david cook is good, he makes the song his own but i still think david a. has the better voice. he will make music like switchfoot or chris daughtry and be very good.

but again, both singers are very good, but you cant compare them because they have totally different singing styles.

David Cook will be the next American Idol, every time he sings, I close my eyes and that voice just gets right there inside you.

Archuleta started out in American Idol really strong; his take on imagine by Lennon is unforgettable but his captivating presence on stage gradually began to weaken as the weeks passed. Yesterday, although he sung the songs really well, he is at a stage in the competition where he needs to bring IT. Although brilliant performances, Archuleta proved to be forgettable.
Archuleta, being 16, is really talented and mature for his age, but he's still not THERE yet...perhaps in a few years time, he will be THE ultimate idol the world has ever seen. But for now, he's got a long way to go

Personally I never really got Syesha; until she did that one performance where she was doing an acoustic version of this song I cant seem to remember, she proved that she has an amazing voice and an even more amazing range, yet she fails to choose songs that compliment her voice...she proved that yesterday with her choices. Like Paula said, her choices did not bring out the Syesha we all know and Cowell was right when he said Syesha would regret her song choices the following day.

David Cook started out in the competition fine; his performances had been good enough to get him through yet they were forgettable...But the past 3-4? weeks, he has really outdone himself by continually taking risks to redefine the songs he chooses and makes them his. It was truly his night yesterday. Each of the songs he did showed a unique element of Cook, and each song was brilliantly done, no questions asked. Cowell couldnt have been more right when he said Cook had won the night.

based on the performances, I wont be surprised if Syesha is let go.

Archuleta has an awesome fan following which could possibly get him to be the next American Idol, but honestly, that title should rightfully go to Cook...Archuleta still has a long way to go (and knowing that he's 16 right now, who knows WHAT he will become when he's a few years older). His talent got him all the way to the top 3, and will take him to the top 2 even, but he still needs to mature and really be able to exploit his talent.

For now, Cook will do the title of American Idol justice.

I think they are all really talented in their own individual way, but in my opinion, not only does David Cook have a voice, but he is REALLY good at making his own arrangements to the songs he picks and don't forget his guitar playing abilities. I kinda think he is the whole package which is funny because in the beginning I didn't really care for him! No matter what....they are all going to make it big!!!!

OK stephanie g ,, no ARCHULETTA IS AWESOME AND HOT ,, he isnt immature? :S .. he is way better than the other 2 .. although Syesha is great , i still think archuletta is better ,,, and Cook-or Cooke ,, i really dislike him .. sorry , but its the truth
