ELLEN,
I read a comment posted by a woman named Darla Hanes, and that sounds like an awesome game plan, dance and eat, and come on its open bar. I'm routin for Darla.

Darla Hanes boogie on and I hope this wish comes true for you.

If you can dance and laugh all at once then you know life is great.

HAPPY HALF A CENTURY!! Sounds differnt that way doesn't it? I am almost 59 but was never 50, I was 29Z (55) before I told my true age. Still would like to have one of your Hawaii chairs (Saw it again on an Orlando show.) Keep going I need your show to make my daily Prozac kick in.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE ELLEN!

Hi Ellen! I know you must hear often just how good your show is, but the laughter you share with us daily is powerful! In fact, it is good medicine. Long story short, I experienced a medical emergency last week & ended up in the ER. When I was released & able to return home, I watched several of your shows, along with your 'Here and Now' DVD, which left me feeling soooo much better, physically & emotionally. Laughter is good medicine! I am a retired teacher and currently a Certified Laughter Yoga Instructor. You, Ellen, are my Laughter Guru & I thank you for bringing light to my days and to the world! Congratulations on your 800th show and here's to at least another 800 more!
In love & light, Sharon

Hi Ellen....Your Show is Terrific. I am 68 and sell Real Estate; I've had R.E. Licenses in St.Louis,MO, Los Angeles, CA, and now in wonderfully exciting ElDorado, KS (population, 12-15,000). You were great as a 'Standup', many years ago, and you are even better, now!!!!
When you were born, I was graduating from High School(in El Dorado). (You guessed it, I could have been your Mother) This year my class of 1958 will be having our 50th Reunion. I am inviting you!!!! We plan to have at least 100 people, September 12-13. The big night will be at the Prairie Trails Golf & Country Club, Sat.(the 13th), beginning with Brunch (& open bar) at 11AM, then, 1-5PM, Golf (18 hole course), or Games (in the Clubhouse). I don't play golf, so YOU could help me with the Games! Socializing, 6-6:30PM, a Smoked Prime Rib Buffet 6:30-8PM, then from 8-9:30, we will have a Concert by the same members of a small band, who performed in 1958. Some of these bandmembers are Professionals, now. The trumpet playing Bandleader is a retired Anethesiologist, from Hilton Head,FL, and his Sax. player, who is a retired Music Professor, from Ohio State University.
Oh, yes, from 9:30-?, we will "DANCE" To Oldies Music!
Can you think of anything more fun?????

(We are 45 minutes from the Wichita Airport, or 2.5 hours from the Kansas City Airport.)

Ellen, if you can't make it, maybe you could send me a Game Plan, for the afternoon. I love your on-line games!
You are the Best.... Hugs, Darla

Ellen, You and Porscha could always get married in Canada. I will supply the champagne and my small back yard. My dog Whiskey could be groomsman. Please, do not wait much longer to marry the person you love. Ross and I have been married for 39 years --surprise, surprise. We have the best kids and grandkids. So, please do not wait--life is too short.
Love your show. I try to dance with you everyday because it makes my day.

My best to you and Porscha (probably spelled in wrong).

i love the monster one! haah

Hi Ellen,

When I read some of the letters on your website, I want to volunteer to go to the person’s home once and awhile to help them feel better. I am a formally educated chef and have a great sense of humor and compassion: That’s a combination of talents that has the potential to be extremely comforting for a person who doesn’t feel well, I know because I took very good care of my mother when she was dying. My need to help people has developed because I have had a fortunate outcome regarding my own health problems: I can manage them and feel competent.

I have Cushing’s disease, that is currently in remission but I am not able to handle a job that requires %100-percenet attendance. Through all of my own various ‘health experiences,’ I have developed a sense of understanding for people’s feelings who are vastly ailing, I have never taken care of a mentally ill individual so that’s probably out of my scope, so some of my anxiety about ‘not being able to help’ because most people think that a chronic disease that they know nothing about, is a reason to worry. Not so!

You see Ellen, it takes something that’s very special, such as your 800th show to bring out the very best in some of us, thank you!

Love ya!

Just Me, yes. Very, very yes.

Berliner, your describtion is so funny. Are you with Gerrie?

O, you are so right, I did so many mistakes, because I didn´t use my glasses and was looking for the letters like an almost blind old lady. More guessing than knowing what I´ve found on my notebook.

Berliner I think you need a dictionary sorry but you English is bad

Gerrie, you make me laugh.....A fireman. So, men can be useful, but only if a woman tries to cook, who cannot cook. I knwo, tah Ellen isn´t a great cook, but that it is that bad, you are making me laugh so much Gerrie, I cannot keep the water I just wnated to drink. Ooops, it came through my nose on the blanket. Great, I am clean all inside, too (after I had a shower, everything is in complete).
