Do you love our country? Do you love country music? Do you love Awards shows? Do you love Ellen? If you’ve answered yes to all of these questions, then you should enter for a chance to go to to this year’s Country Music Awards! All you have to do is tell us why you deserve to go. You do deserve to go, don’t you? Of course you do! After you selflessly did that thing… and what about the time you helped out that guy who had that problem? Or what about the time that you waited in line all night in the rain to see your favorite country singer because you are such a huge fan of his/hers? Write it all down here If you want to write it in song form, we suppose that’ll work too.

Hi Ellen,
I wrote this song just for you. You may sing as you read.

It was Halloween down in Tennessee
The year was 1986, when I was at a party getting sick?
I heard about a big show down in Memphis don’t ya know,
I gathered up my best friends then we headed up the road

Next we camped out on the sidewalk
To be the first in line to buy our tickets so we all could go
I was so excited when I got my ticket for to see
My favorite band was Journey with the voice of Steve Perry

Well I know that he ain’t country but you asked me for this note
To tell you why I think that I should be
In attendance at the cer-e-mony I have never seen
Please Ellen hold a few seats for mom, hubby and me

P.S. Ellen, I have been a fan of country music all my life, Please, make a girls dream come true. I’ll even sing this stupid song for ya!

Dear Ellen:
I watch your show every day and really enjoy you. I have written you at least 9 times with a question and have never gotten an answer. I want to know why Canadians are not able to win any of your prizes? Canadians love to win things also. There must be some dumb rule as the shows that I watch we are not allowed to enter any contest. You want us to watch your show so we should be able to enter to win your wonderful prizes.

Yours truly,
Carole Hoveland

My favorite country music singers are BROOKS & DUNN, there is no one out there that can top them. My husband and I went to see them in concert a few years ago at an amphitheatre and it rained and it rained. Both of us were wearing blue jeans and by the time the concert was over our blue jeans weighed about 10lbs a piece. It was very hard keeping them up! I have to say we felt rather miserable. I would love to go to the CMA's and see them with dry jeans on.

Dear Ellen,
First let me start by saying how much I love your show. I always feel better after watching you do something crazy.

I am seeing a great Therapist and she had me make a list of goals for my life. I just turned 50. Recently divorced, and my son is in college. I know, sad story right? Wrong, it is exciting. I have hopes and dreams and plan to achieve all of my goals. Anyway sorry, I digress. One of my goals is to see your show. My Therapist made me estimate a date to complete this goal. I pulled April 3rd 2009 out of the air and that was that.
I will complete my goal but a bit of help would be greatly appreciated. I have always loved country music and learning to play the guitar is another one of my goals. Well, thanks for reading this. Great Show, Liz Graves

First let me say, "OH MY GOSH!" and "AHHHHH!!!" Not only do I love Ellen, I love, love, love Country music! In fact my radio is on right now to 99.5 The Wolf! (Ellen's not on yet) I have loved Country music since I was a little girl no higher than my grand daddy's knee! Of course I'm not much taller now at 45! My first crush was on a Country DJ Mr. Bo Wiley who worked for Kayo radio in Seattle, WA. He was 32 and I was 13 but it was Love! I used to get made fun of in high school because I did not know the rock bands! Plus that music made me feel uncomfortable. I was like Barbra Mandel "I was country when country wasn't cool"

Ellen is this in Nashville?? My heart is beating fast! My neighbor, Lisa and I have been trying to get there any way we can! No, I won't be taking my hubby cause he's just a tad on the boring side and I want to see it all! Lisa and I think the same way...sleep on the plane or when you get home but not on vacation!

Ok Ellen, I will be waiting for your call, I won't leave the house, take a bath, nothing. My kids will have to clean and bring me my meals...HE HE HE! They think they over worked now! Ha!

Ellen this is not for me but my brother. Our family had a friend who sang ay oprys around Illinois and she was on a show with Dolly Parton'mind you she wasn't the Dolly Parton calliber but people in hick towns paid to see her.Anyway,my parents took my brother [their favorite]to see Carlotta Gayle[family friend] when she was with Dolly, this was in 1975 or something,my brother was young.Todd,my brother got to go back stage and meet Dolly. As the story goes Dolly put my brother on her lap[his head was probably between her breasts!!]and whispered something in his ear. From that moment on he was driven to be a country singer! He taught himself to play piano and yodel. When he was older he began singing at local oprys and met his wife, she sang too. They had quite the following of blue haired ladies! They recorded cassettes and even had a fan club. When my brother sang Amazing Grace there wasn't a dry eye among those blue haired old ladies!!He had a child named Jonah and after a year or two Jonah was diognosed with Asbergers Syndrome,a type of Autism.Needless to say their singing days were over.Todd had to find a job with good benefits so Jonah could get the best care possible.I know he misses singing sooooo much.He works so much, doesn't go hardly anywhere and seems so depressed because of Jonahs situation. There is no more spark in his eyes.I know he and his wife Juanita would love to go to the CMA's.Think about it ellen would you.We were not a very close family growing up and I just want him to know I care about him by trying to give him this gift.I forgot to tell you he and his wife were Illinois Country Music Associations Duo of the year Two years in a row I think. He also has never told anyone what Dolly Parton said to him on that fateful day!!!!

Your number 1 fan stacy romeo xxoo

my email is vickyyme so I was thinking, vickyyNOTme????Thanks.

Hi Ellen,
As you should know you brighten my day every weekday. My family and friends know not to call me when your show is on. My grandchild say "Memaw, your best friend Ellen is on". I'd love to win the tickets because I am enemployed right now and the only place I get to go is to the grocery store and to babysit my grandkids. I live in the boonies and you know how the gas prices are. I love country music but not as uch as I love you and your kindness and your show.
Have a great day!
Barbara

Hi Ellen,
I know this is crazy asking to win cma tickets,For i have never won anything in my life. My husband and i love country music, and you!!!! It would be beyond anything we could imagine to be with you and see the awards up close..A dream come true, And i know you do that for people, because we watch your show every day and make alot of people happy. With us coming from Hew Hampshire we don't get many oppertunities to even go to concerts, we are tucked in the corner of the world here. One last thing, WE LOVE YOU AND WHAT YOU DO FOR PEOPLE,laughter is the best medicine!!!!

Dear Ellen-I watch your show everyday and I think you are the greatest I thought it was really great of you to do your show even thought you were in a hospital bed that's a true talk show host. I'm a real die-hard fan of country music. I grew up on it listening to it with my mom, unfortunatly I lost my mom last year unexpectedly. I absolutely love George Strait. He was here recently, but I was unable to go see him. I would love to go with you to the CMA'S. It would mean alot to me to go with you. I would really love to meet you in person. I'm a huge fan of your's, so please pick me. Thank You. Cindy Ban

Dear Ellen,
I am your biggest fan EVER, and also very RED! I have been raised on country music since I knew how to listen! I really love the older music but I also do enjoy the new age country as well. I now have a little girl who will be five in May who would throughly enjoy seeing the CMA's! This would make our dreams come true, being we have been through many hardships including lenghtly hospital stays and many blood transfusions. Unfortuneately due to malpractice I was left with a complete hysteractomy and mentally exhausted! We really need the tickets, ELLEN! We love you!!!

hannahrose has a dream; she is nashvillebound. and just like jerry seinfeld's parents encouraged him in his dream to become a comedian, i am encouraging hannahrose to become what she wants. and that is a country music recording artist.

even though i would love to go with hannahrose, i feel it is more important for her to go with her mom lisa. they need that bonding time together which will create memories to last generations.

hannahrose's taylor swift fansite on myspace (taylove) is number 11 on taylor's site. she almost met taylor here years back.

hannahrose has also made highly visible and popular myspace fansites for margaret becker (maggielove), reba mcentire (rebalove), emmy rossum (emmylove) & chelsea musick (chelsealove).

hannahrose is doing everything she can to make it to nashville (choir, singing lessons, learning all the songs, programming her subconscious mind)

hannahrose's dad (that's me), feels it is his job to help her and motivate her in making her dreams come true. everyone needs someone that'll do that for them. so i am writing and submitting this for her.

thank you for helping make hannahrose's dreams become a reality.

Hi Ellen,
Just like everyone else posting here....I love your show and you really are a joy to watch everday. It is great to turn on the TV and watch your show and know that you are going to feel good after watching. I saw this contest and would love to go and decided I would try to win since I have a story to tell to about my cancer journey but as I was reading all the post, I decided you should give it to the lady who was widowed at 43. She sounds like she really needs a break. My illness is nothing compared to what she is living through now without the man she loves. At least I still have my husband to help me through my illness.
Anyway...she should win!

Good Morning Ellen,
FIrst off, Id Like to say "Congratulations to All of the Cancer Survivors out Here", which I Myself just had Cancer & Lost a Kidney.

I Love & am A HUGE fan Of Country Music.
I have never really gotten to travel, Anyhooo, I dont drive, So I Dont know How Id get there, but I would love to Join You,& Many Others Listening to these Talented Artists.
So If I am not chosen I Pray that the One who is, that "HE or SHE" has the Best Time Ever as that would Be Such an HONOR to go to the CMA's"
Good Luck to All,
God Bless
Candis

Hi Ellen, I turned 30 in January. I'm from Texas, and i love to watch your show. I am a single mother and i love country music. My son's favorite singer is Tim McGraw and finaly i was able to aford to take him to see Tim Mcgraw 2 years ago for his 6th birthday. I have always since my son was singing his songs determind that one day i would try my best to some how let him meet Tim Mcgraw. I would love for him and I to be able to come with you to the CMA's. Meeting you would be a dream of mine bc i have been a fan since you first came out on your TV show and i believe that it is amazing that you are still doing well and standing up for what you believe. You are definatly a roll model to todays gay and lesbian society. Please pick me. They say your life starts it's peek at 30 so i am taking more chances and trying to live life to the fullest and also just trying to make it in todays society as a single mother trying to make my son the happiest and show him how much i truly love him and thank god for alowing me the oportunity to be his mom.I struggle everyday just to try to save up money so that we can oneday have a home of our own and stop renting, but with the prices going up it just seems as if i will not make it to buying a home. It would be a dream come true if we could come to the show with you. Thank you and keep up the good work on the show bc i enjoy every one.

Ellen,

Ellen I m a five year cancer survivor...Hooray. I coped with my cancer by having a good attitude and having alot of humor. Now I try to enjoy myself with little things and big things. I love to travel and would dub going to the CMA s as a really big thing. I m 68......hope that won t influence anything negatively I m a young 68 I just wonder everyday "what happened" I suddenly am a senior citizen. Oh Well! I enjoy your show and you re upbeat personality. I hope I get to go...............It would be great!!!!!

Hi Ellen, I would love to go to the CMA awards show with you. Thanks for all you do to make people laugh and forget about all of their problems for an hour each day. I have a muscle disorder call Fibromialgia and it is very painful. There is very little known about this muscle disorder but there are millions of women and men who suffer from fibromialgia pain everyday. It would be great to go the CMA awards show with you, but it would be wonderful if you could use your influence to bring attention to this muscle disorder and maybe there could be more done to find out what causes the widespread pain in our muscles that I and others like me live with everyday.

Ellen,
I just would like to go for my 65th birthday. I still work(who can afford not too) and would enjoy a special treat. I grew up on Country music as well as everything else. I'm a professional clown and work with many organizations. Pick me and I'll clown around with you.
Pat

Dear Ellen

Love watching your show and love the way you dance with the folks on you show. Would love to win tickets to the CMA. Never won tickets to a show this would be the first. Would like to meet Keith Urban and Raschal Flatts which are my favorit singers. Thanks
