Who's That with Ellen?

Answer: Minnie Driver.

Minnie was born Amelia Fiona J. Driver on January 31, 1970.

Last year, Bruce Willis almost ran into Minnie with his surfboard. According to Minnie, “Bruce Willis nearly killed me! As much as I wanted to be, I could not be mad at Bruce Willis, he was just all glistening."

Early in her career, Minnie was a member of a band called "Puff, Rocks and Brown." The band was signed to a development deal with Island Records, which ended without a release.

Minnie is expecting her first child in August.

Ellen,
I love your show. You make my day when I watch you. I watch your show everyday. I have not missed one of your shows. Even my 5 year old neice loves to watch you. She likes it when you say Kaaa. She has a rare seizure disorder. So she does not talk much. But when we are watching you and you say kaaa she repeats it and then laughs.
Congrats on your 800th show. That is great. I hope you continue to do your show. I know you brighten everyones day.

Peace
Colleen from south bend Indiana

I enjoyed your show w/Wayne Dyer and I was curious to know where he got the T-Shirt he was wearing...it said "We are One" (In case you forgot...not that you're old and forgetful but I know you're busy and might not recall). Luv Ya!!! Alina from Annandale NJ xoxo

Ellen,

It's the sensational Minnie Driver. What a wonderful mom she will be. Imagine her little one riding tandem on her long board. Minnie is an extremely talented singer and musician too. Speaking of babies--a five month old boy is on vacation next door, reminding me of the extraordinary nature of babyhood.

Wanted to thank you, Ellen, for calling our collective attention to Dr. Dyer. The power of such messages as his, and Eckhart Tolle's (thank you, Oprah), and academics focusing on happiness, gratitude, and compassion guide the world along the right course. Moreover, the philanthropic kindness and authentic happiness emanating from celebrities such as yourself invigorates the world.

The experiences here in Panama remain such a joy, but I hope to get home and to your show before it ends, which may be unlikely if your season ends at the end of May. Doing what I can too get home soon enough.

Gratefully yours,
Sue at Sol y Mar
