'The Bachelor': Ellen Calling

Last night, “The Bachelor,” Matt Grant, did not hand her a rose, so Wednesday I'll hand Amanda Rantuccio as many tissues as she needs. After he gave her the heave-ho, Matt told Amanda that he felt everything he ever said to her, and that Amanda had "virtually everything" he was looking for, but since Matt just dumped her, this just confused Amanda -- so she called Matt "a complete..." well, a bad word. Be sure to watch on Wednesday to find out if Amanda still thinks Matt is a (you know what) and if she's gotten over him yet.

My lord what was I in shock no rose I don,t no how many times she said like but be honest I did not count it how poor it was so nice girl

Unfortunately, it was very apparent he wasn't going to choose Amanda during dinner. When he was talking with her, telling her how he felt, his eyes kept darting away off to the side: he wasn't looking directly at her. He's too young to know how to play the game *that* well. (I've had guys b.s. me while looking directly into my eyes but they have 10 years on him). And Amanda seemed a bit too eager to go into the fantasy suite with him, which came across a tad desperate (perhaps subconsciously she knew something wasn't totally connecting). This isn't to knock Amanda (I don't know her and from the show she seems like a sincere person). From a bird's eye view this wasn't a total surprise and after Chelsea pulled out the lingerie at the end and she and Matt got comfy, it seemed obvious who was going home. Sorry.

Can someone tell me how many times Amanda said the word "like" in that episode? Like, that would be enough for me to send her, like, home, like, you know? (But, yes, very nice girl)

I was shocked at first too that Amanda did not get a rose. But if he had stronger feelings for someone else, I don't think that makes him a mean guy. On the contrary; I think it makes him classy enough to be truthful and not continue to date her if he doesn't think she could be the one.

I don't see a strong connection b/w him and Shane, but I do think he and Chelsea have a strong connection. Yes, she isn't overly affectionate, but I think she can be in a different atmosphere. And I think he truly adores her and acts like a boy with a huge crush!

I feel for any of the girls who get their hearts broken, but that is always a risk in any kind of relationship. This will help her figure out who her "one" is! Stay strong Amanda!

Ditto to the comments left by Liz!
:)

Amanda I was blown away when you did not receive a rose last night. I was thinking the last few weeks that you were definitely the one for Matt. Chelsea is way too skittish and undecided and Shayne, well Shayne is an actress.

Whichever one he decides on, the relationship will not last. You at least were down to earth, sincere and truthful.

I think you should be the next bachelorette.

sincerely,

liz moran
