On Friday, Help Us Celebrate Our 800th Show!

My, how time flies. It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating our 798th show. I know, the show doesn't look a day over 700. And no, we haven't had had a lot of work done. It's just a lot of healthy living, and with a few exceptions, we've tried to stay out of the sun. What is the theme for the 800th anniversary? It's not paper, wood or silver... I think it might be linoleum.

Anyway, we're pulling out all the stops! You won't believe the surprises we've got lined up for our audience! Plus, we'll look at some of our all-time favorite moments and guests -- and your all-time favorite moments! Plus, we'll be premiering a big, super-special surprise, so please don't miss the party! It wouldn't be the same without you!

Congrats on 800 Ellen. I watch everyday so here's to 800 more.

My favorite moment was when Justin Timberlake was Big Gin for the 12 Days of Giveaways and he got Ellen do dress up as a glass of milk, and they danced to MC Hammer together.

Ellen,
I work nights,but I get up every day at 3:00 in the afternoon to watch you,your my Good Morning America show. I really enjoy all your shows,but I really love when you have animals on your show,it's always very funny, I also love your calls to Gladys,she is also very funny. Good Luck to you in your future and I hope for many,many more shows and years to come.

One of my favorite shows ever was when you were holding the snake, I thought I was going to die laughing,, It was soo funny Love you. I really tried to go to Chicago to see you but I was not lucky enough to get any, But I will for ssure watch it on TV, unless you wanna slip me some, 2 will do , have a great 800th show, congradulations

You are the best show on TV. We love waking up to you everyday. HOLLA out to Ellen! Remember when things get you down--"Walk Off". We are very very big fans of yours and my eight year old thinks you ROCK! Love to watch you dance--your good. I think you know the words to every song. Stryker too, what a doll. Ellen,

Congratulations on your 800th show. You are the greatest. I try not to miss your show and if I know I will miss it I record it. You and all your guest are very entertaining. That is my time to relax and take five when your show is on.

You were asking for a favorite thing that happened on one of your shows. I have several of them but my most favorite was when you were holding the snake, I believe it was a Boa. Any way it was hilarious when the snake wrapped him self around you and up between your legs. Everytime I see it I laugh. You were probably in shock and wondering how you were going to get out of that situation.

Anyway CONGRAULATIONS ON 800. Hope to see 800 more.

Hi Ellen; You are the BEST. Congratulation's on you 800th show. You make me smile everyday!!! Keep dancing, keep us laughing, I will watch you over Oprah anyday(sorry oprah, she lost my confidence on a political basis). I truly love when you call dear Glady's. My favorite show was when you had Tiger Wood's on, he this look of amazement when you got the ball right through, you are so much to so many people, you could never imagine. keep going Ellen, your are # 1 by no doubt.

wow 800 shows that is wonderful, i just started watching about 5 months ago, your show comes on at 8am here in golden b.c. canada i get home from graveyard shift at 730am get the kids off to school, have a tea and wait for your show to come on, it helps me wine down and helps me get though my day congrats and hope to watch another 800. all the best to you love from your fans here in golden b.c. canada

Dearest Ellen, Supercalifragilisticexpealadocious, is what I think of your 800 shows.

It is a distant memory now but I think the one I enjoyed the most was "Mostly Moose and More". You interviewed the lady and her husband who run a store by that name.

The Ellen show is a great way to spend an hour of my time in the afternoon here in Philadelphia, 3-4PM NBC 10. You always leave me smiling and when an unexpected grandchild (there are 12 of them) stop in, I don't have to switch the channel. They love you too!

Your kind humor, terriffic guests, thoughtful things you do for people in need, generous surprises to your audience are a joy to watch and feel part of. Keep up the great entertainment and I will keep watching, Happy 800th.

Would love to be a part of it all someday. I will wait for an invitation in my mailbox. My friend Carm and I love to travel and would to your show, anytime!

Ellen,
Congratulations on your 800th show and I am quite sure you will have another 800 shows to celebrate.
Thank the good lord for creating a person like you. You are truly an angel right here on earth. What I love most about watching your show is that for that one hour a day a get to laugh and smile. I have Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) formerly known as RSD,Reflex Sympathetic Disorder, the Paula Abdul disease. It is an extremely painful disease. I am in pain 24 hrs a day and don't smile as often as I used to. When I watch you, I get a little bit of relief from the pain. I am able to laugh with you. I have many Doctor appointments every week, so I got a Tivo so I never miss a show. So Ellen... Thank you again for giving me a reason to smile.

Congratulations on your 800th show and I'm looking forward to watching the next 800+. I watch you everyday at work and don't know how I'd get through the end of my day without you. I work alone most of the time and most days I can't stand it....and then you come on and brighten my day.
