I am the principal at an at risk junior high school in Las Vegas, NV. I love your show and watch it everyday. My kids like so many others don't enjoy or have the opportunity to participate in traditional sports. Video games are in and grab our kids attention. We recently added a fitness room to our school and we are trying to teach our kids to learn to live and enjoy healthy lives. The NEOS is fun, competitive, and a work-out at the same time. I know many people would love to have this for their kids and I'm no different. We'd love to have this in our efforts to to teach students that exercise can be fun as well as good for you. Thanks for all you do for your viewers and those who have a need. This is a gift that will keep on giving. Thanks for your consideration. Teresa
Ellen,
I came home quickly today so that I could get a quick episode of your show after a day of teaching music at Norwood School in Norwood, MO. I have taught in Norwood 21 years and feel a close connection with the students there. I want them to have as many opportunities to suceed as anyone else in the world and there is so much stacked against them. There isn't much entertainment in Norwood (except for school activities). We are a very small town with a large majority of low economic families. We also have a large number of students needing to find a way to become more physically active. Many of them are overweight. The minute I saw that you were going to give away the neos machine, I thought how awesome it would be for "my kids" at school. Thank you for being so kind and donating so much to so many. I know whoever you select to receive this will be very lucky. Thank you so much.

Hi Ellen,
I saw your show on Monday and got soooo excited that you are giving away the NEOS! I have the perfect place, The Exit Teen Center in College Station, Texas. During the school year we provide a safe place for teens ages 11-15 to hangout, and participate in healthy activities. We are also open during the summer, and provide activities and programs to get our at risk teens involved in their community and living healthier lives. The NEOS would be an awesome addition to our program, and without your help we do not have the funds to provide such a great opportunity.
Can't wait to hear from you!

Hi Ellen, I watched you play that great NEOS game on your show and heard that you were going to give one away. I am a teacher at a wonderful school in Azusa, California. Unfortunately, as in many areas throughout the U.S., our children do not get enough play time nor, enough exercise! We could certainly use an addition to our sorely lacking physical education equipment I know several teachers who would enjoy the competition also! Our custodian is coach for the track team after school and this game would be great to increase speed and dexterity for the students on the team. Thanks for your generosity and good humor. A.S.
Ellen,
I was so excited to hear about your NEOS give away. I work at a teen center in College Station, TX. We provide a safe-haven for "at risk" youth in our community. We encourage our kids to get up and stay active which is why I think the NEOS game system would be such a great addition to our program. This game system would help encourage kids to come participate in our program instead of dangerous activitie in their free time.
Thanks so much,
Christie Zacharias
I just want to say that I love your show and I watch everyday. I do have to tiVo but it gets watched none the less. I just want to nominate my sons school, Sylvania High School, in Sylvania, Alabama for this game system. As much as I hate to say it, this has to be the poorest school and with little or no outside funding to help. My son is thirteen years old, and although they do have a playground with equipment, he and his classmates are too old for this stuff and so for his P.E. they have to do programs for exercise. This entails vigorous and lets just say not so fun like squats, something my son calls the lobster crawl and running laps and laps around the football field.Almost like a drill sergent. I am all for exercise thus the whole physical education part, but this also needs to be fun sometimes and not dreaded by the children and considered more of a punishment than an exercise. It would be great if you could think of these children the way I think of my son, and help to make their P.E a little more age appropriate and alot more fun. This whole school could greatly benefit. Thank Ellen for hearing my story.
Hi Ellen:
I would like to start by saying what an amazing and wonderful person you are as well as your staff. You touch more lives than you will ever realize. Not only that but you bring so much joy into peoples lives everywhere. I live right outside of San Antonio, Texas and have put a lot of thought in your generous offer of giving NEOS away. I have really been touched by the town of Greensberg, Kansas. I don't know anyone there but they amaze me. Last year they lost 95% of there town by a tornado. They are rebuilding their town "Green". It is amazing. They are no where near having all the construction completed but well on their way. The town is an inspiration to people everywhere and the fact they decided to spend the extra money by going Green is wonderful. I think their town would benefit greatly by NEOS and hope you might consider them for this fabulous gift. Keep doing what you are doing because you do it perfectly. I am in awe of you each day that I watch your show.
Thanks so much. Tammy
dear ellen
My name is angel and I live in Greenbier,AR and i watch your show everyday and if I miss it thank god for DVR's but anyway it would be nice for the neo to be a good game for the summer becuase my parents own four stores and I have to get stuck there every hour on the hour and they have any time to hang out with me becuase they are so busy all the time and this is a good reason to have friends over so please ellen It would be noce to have that at my crib youare the best ellen
Dear Ellen,
When you asked who should receive the "Neo" I couldn't think of any single person or organization who really needed it; however, after much thought, I feel that the children of Driver, VA are more than deserving of something new and fresh to arrive in their badly destroyed town due to a recent tornado. The "Neo" could help to restore a little fun during such a horific time of healing and restoring their community.
Thanks for all you do for everyone.

Dear Ellen,
I too would like to request the NEOS for my school. I am the technology coordinator at a small school in Pensacola, Florida. We have 332 students, 98% African American, 97% free and reduced lunch. Our school is located in a very high-crime area.Last year, our school community was the focus of a anti-drug clean-up campaign by the sheriff's department. There are 85 registered sex offenders in our school neighborhood. Our parents do not allow their children to play outdoors and due to limited P.E. and recess time during the school day, our students do not have much time or opportunity for physical activity. The NEOS could provide much needed incentive for physical activity and would be an awesome draw for the after school programs we offer. Please consider donating the NEOS to Montclair Elementary School in Pensacola, Florida. Thank You.
dear Ellen
Hi my name is breana and i wanted to tell you about my school Armadillo Technical Institute. it started out in an old church very small but cozy. it is a charter school in Phoenix Oregon thats helps by having more one on one teacher student time. we have no field for P.E. and i think that your game will give us a good sorce of physical education. we dont have any funding for P.E. equiptment and i think this will be a big asset to our school. we are six threw 12 grade with dedicated teachers that do what they can with the little that we have. i am a senior this year and all though this is my last year there i would love to see somthing good happen for my school. i know that my school would greatly apriciate anything they could get to help the students. so please consider Armadillo for your game..
sincerly
Breana
Dear Ellen,
My name is Carli Million and I am 11 years old. I go to Vinewood Elementary and I am in fifth grade.(almost 6th!) I was watching your show and saw some audience members playing NEOS. Last year in fourth grade, my friend Mario had a few brain tumors and was out of school for most of the year. Finally, a couple weeks before school was out he came back in a wheelchair. It's more than a year later and he is still struggling to walk on his own.He has to learn to do almost everything over again. He isn't very motivated to leave his walker and try to walk solo. But I can tell that he really wants to participate and enjoy sports and physical activities. Before all of the medical problems with Mario, he used to always be active and cheery. I sometimes see him crying because he says he can't do things like that anymore. I want to encourage him now because I know he can if he works hard. NEOS would really encourage him to try and I know he would enjoy it. Also, his family has experienced great hardship because they also have a disabled daughter and when Mario got the brain tumor, his mom had a baby. I know they could never afford something like NEOS. Please choose me. Please choose Mario.
Hi Ellen! Believe it or not, I have been wanting to email you and ask if you ever thought of donating the NEOS when you were finished with it. Of course, my procrastination once again got the best of me.
Anyway, I am a principal at an elementary school in Locust Grove, OK. I attended a national education conference recently and got a chance to play the NEOS. I was shocked when they told me it cost $30,000!!
It would be such an asset to our little community. Our park is full of broken equipment and our children and youth have little to do after school. I would love to get the NEOS for our school or community. I could possibly arrange for our Vo-Ag teacher to drive to L.A. with his horse trailer to pick it up if necessary--if shipping is not included.
Just a few demographics of our population:
-Over 70% of students on free/reduced lunches
-High Native American population with a high rate of Type II diabetes
-Oklahoma is one of the most over-weight states in the union
-9 out of 10 Locust Grove residents love Ellen (well, I can't prove that one)
P.S. My little girls, Brynlee who is 6, and Rylee who is 4, are now doing "DO NOT!" and "WALK OFF!" with much gusto!! Thanks--I think!
Thanks for all you do!!!

Ellen, This new toy looks so cool. We could really use it for our playground. We are in the process of renovating our school, and there is no money left to purchase a playground. The one we are currently using has been there for almost 20 years, and is really not safe. The kids are not allowed on some of the equipment and for awhile we were only allowed to play in the field across the street from the school. I think this NEOS would be so enjoyable for the students at Hinsdale. It would benefit so many programs, not only for recess, but Phys. Ed. and the After School Program. Please consider us for this awesome game for our kids!

I know you have a lot of request for the Neos. I am going to put a plea in for the school I work for. I teach 4th grade in an inner city school in Kenosha, Wisconsin. We have approx. 500 students in our elementary school. We service Pre K - 5th grade. The kids are great kids but come from very poor and diverse backgrounds. There are many kids who look forward to coming to school as their only relief from the lives they live. I would love for the Neos to be part of the school routine/gym activity. The school is very active and this could be great for the kids in the school who are at-risk, which is about 95% of the kids. What a great tool for fitness and a great reward to the kids. I hope you can consider our school for your giveaway. We all would really appreciate it!
Aloha Ellen,
We have 111 keiki's (children) in Kilohana Elementary School located manae (on the East end) of the island of Molokai, Hawaii. We have no fast food, no youth center, no malls, no movie theaters, no bowling alley. We have family and friends. Will you please give the Neo's to our keiki for them to enjoy.Mahalo.
Hi Ellen,
When I heard you wanted to give away the "Neos" I got really excited. The School kids at Hindale, New Hampshire Elementary School could sure use this machine. I went to this school K thru 12 grade and now my daughter is in kindergarten there. She plays on the same playground that I did in Elementary School. The PTA has established a group, which I am one of, to try to raise money for a new playground for these kids. They have been at it for at least the last 3 years, I have been involved since 2007. We have a total of $7,000 (more or less) at this time.
We are a small community but a dedicated one to the kids. Our Town revolves around this school and at this moment the kids can not play on the playground because it's too dangerous.
It's my plea that you generously donate this machine to help create excitement for the town and kids about the playground. The kids would love it and the parents would like knowing their kids are getting some constructive excersize.
The school itself just went through a major construction along with creating a new Middle school building. When they came up with the orginal plans for the budget the Playground was included in it. But with having to cut the budget in order to get the town to approve the plan they had to cut the playground out.
So we are now left to our own devises to raise the money to build a safe new playground. The kids are forced to play in their class room or in a field across from the school. That's it a field!
Please Ellen I know you will get a lot of pleas for this Neos Machine but we could really use it. The kids would be so excited to see this machine for them to play with. I would be forever greatful for helping us help the kids. It's my goal and passion to get these kids a new playground and I will. Thanks in advance for listening.
i think this would be a great game for our school because we live in a very small town with only 711 people so we could a have a little bit of exitment and just to tell you it would be for the elementary. we would have so much fun so if you pick us for the lucky winner of the NEOS machine we would cherrish it.
i love your show!!! thanks for your time

P.S. every one would like me better to because to everybody exept my class thinks of me as a nobody.
Hi Ellen,
The Neos game would be a perfect draw to bring teens into the Peninsula Jewish Community Teen Center in Foster City, California. I used to be a youth and camp director there, and I've watched teens come to the center to 'hang out', but I've always dreamed of seeing them do something more active than sit and play video games and watch movies. This Neos game is the perfect mix of video game and active movement. Now I'm a teacher at a school nearby, but I still hold the camp and teen center close at heart because they provide a wonderful opportunity for a safe community for teens and youth of all ages. Please consider the PJCC in Foster City as a recipient for this spectacular game!
Thanks for continuing to amuse and amaze me with your shows!
All the best and much thanks for your consideration,
Tobi Elman
p.s...the only game better than the Neos is the MARSHMALLOW GAME! :)

Ellen,
I work in a Youth Center in Wisconsin. We have student here from low income and usually single parent families. The Neo would be a great addition to our center so that the students could get exersize while having fun. I know that there are many people deserving of this wonderful gift you are giving, if you would even just consider us I would be so thankful! Thank you so much for giving back to the communities!
Thanks,
Suzann
