that was WELL done. I think the whole thing went of without a hitch and it was awesome. Good work, Ellen.
Ellen should NOT have had to apologize to these fans who are dumb enough to think Neil Patrick Harris really got be-headed on her show. I'm 48 years old and thought I heard it all until now....by the way, Ellen is not a children's show!! My kids were watching childrens PBS like Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, or Nickelodeon, even the Disney channel back when they were little. These guests on Ellen's show aren't exactly talking about innocent things every day meant for children's ears. I loved the magic act and especially the realistic appearance of it. If people are not mature enough to watch the Ellen Degeneres show, then they should be watching something else or maybe no television at all. Not everything during daytime is or should be geared toward children's viewing. There are enough cartoons and such on for them to see. When they get to be teens and are channel surfing alone, then you will actually have some real problems to contend with.
Dear Ellen,
You R soooo funny! My daughter & I watch you every day we love your show. Do you remember a couple of years ago you did a segment about how funny people r with garage sales? well my daughter saw one that had a sign out everything must go 1/2 of sale. We took pictures. I will send them to you.Too funny! Love you Ellen,
Karen
Great illusion Neil...well done!
And congratulations on being voted into the Magic Castle's Board of Directors - it's something I'm sure you're tickled about.
Ellen, as usual, your show was totally enjoyable... keep having fun at it!
I hate you so much Ellen! You killed him! I'm never watching your show again! Murderer! Calling the police right now...
Totally kiddding. LOL! That was a great illusion, but it shouldn't have been shown on your show because some kids were watching it and thought he died. Please have him back on the show so they know he's ok.
Dear Ellen,
I am 7 years old and I love your show. I watch it with my mom every day after school. We are so excited you are coming to chicago and we have been trying and trying to get tickets. What an impossibility! We sighned up to try to get some even though it is completely sold out, but every day I keep hoping maybe we'll get some anyway. My mom is going nuts with me asking. I would love to here back from you.

Trust me kiddies, Neil Patrick Harris is alive & well!!!!! I was at the taping of the show yesterday & he is just fine!!!!! He was great at his craft, & that's why it's so believable.
I was at the show yesterday & chopping off N.P.H.'s head was AWESOME!!!! I can't wait to go to the Magic Castle, thank you very much N.P.H. & E.D.G.!!!!!!
What is that? I hope you had a nice conversation with the head Ellen
You Rockkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk Ellen
thanks for the laugh
As a professional Magician I have a issue wih this act being done in the manner that it was. It is an unwritten rule when performing any children's show that if something disappears it should reappear. Think of this in the mind of a 6 year old? If this was done on a late night show the same way, I would not have a problem with it.
That being said and sone, this is one of the best performances of this Illusions that I have ever seen.

It wouldn't be right if we lost NPH...I'm sure he wouldn't just let someone put his head in one of those and chop it off...lol Awesome Ellen Love you!!
