Why on earth is Jason still in this thing when he ONLY whispers when he sings? He can't sing? Nobody can hold a candle to Michael Johns. Thanks for listening!
Michael Johns was supposed to be this Year's American Idol! He was the only one I voted for and he did not receive the least amount of votes when he was booted. (sad face :( ....
However, I KNOW he will be a SUPER STAR!!!...ANYWAY!!!
I can't help but wonder at the people insisting this is simply a talent contest and, because of that, Jason does not belong.
He has a raw, natural talent and a lovely voice. Beyond that, he has brilliant artistic sense and manages to put himself into every performance.
If he was not worthy of winning this competition he never should have been put through by the judges. He was, however, and now it is a matter of who appeals to people most. It is fair game, people, despite the fact, even, that Jason has been vilified by the producers, judges and media as no contestant before him. Though he may not be the typical idol, he is an idol all the same.
Also, his many fans that continue to support him every week no matter how people try to bring them down don't take kindy to being thought less worthy of coming to their own conclusions. Vote for your contestant and we will vote for ours. You have the right to dislike him but do not tell us we are wrong for supporting him. Please, accept that art is subjective and that people will have different and equally valid opinions.
If you are going by vocal quality, there is no reason that jason shouldve gone home. Even though he may not be the best "musically" he def. has a better voice than brooke & carly. The best ones are still in it, and anything can happen!
WOW!! only one sets my heart beating, and that is David Cook. Even Neil Diamond really likes him. He is our man this time.....Go David Cook
Lets hope that the trend to pick the cutest instead of the most talented does not continue to the end. David Cook without a doubt is the most well rounded talent of them all. I agree that Jason should have gone instead of Carly or Brooke but then is we should be voting on talent not looks. I hope that people can see the obvious when it comes to ability. Lets not turn this show into a high school popularity contest.PLEASE!
The "best singers" on American Idol are David A and David Cook. These two should be the final two. I agree with the previous email Carly should have stayed and Jason should have been out. If it wasn't for young girls he would have been gone along time ago. His voice is OK but it isn't up to a star material. I feel that he doesn't show that he cares about anyone that hasn't been elimated. The only person he cares about is himself. Hopefully the people that keep voting for him wakes up and listen to the singing instead of his boyish looks.
All i kknow is Jason sucks........Its deefinantly gonna be a David vs David final.....I am very torn on which one... cant they both win!!!!!!!!..
I think hands down David Cook is the best singer in the group, little David is good but not great. I feel Syesha and David C will be top 2

I love David Archuleta. When he sings, I can feel that its coming from the heart. He really knows how to connect with the audience. I don't understand why people call him BORING.! and when he sings "upbeat" songs, people say that it was horrible. MAKE UP YOUR MIND PEOPLE.!
I also love David Cook. He is always so lively on stage. And a real gentleman too. He is so amazing. He can really "Rock the house down".
Although I disagree with Paula when she said that she was already looking at "the next American Idol". I think it's so unfair for the other contestants who are working hard to win the title.
There is still 3 more weeks to go. And I believe, anything can happen.
hey all, remember it's not a cutesy, popularity contest. I can't believe Jason and Syesha for that matter have made it this far.

You've got to be kidding? Jason has no power to his voice, his notes are not smooth, his mic technique is horrible, he's never in tune. You have to strain just to hear how horrible he's singing. And the worst part is - he knows it's only his looks keeping him there and I don't think he's that cute anyway. If he had one ounce of decency, he would remove himself from the competition. And that's all I've got to say about that.
Who are these people that are casting these votes? Jason was NOT the best singer this week. He has NEVER been the best singer. Are these people who voted for him even listening or is it that they can't get past the "hair"? Come on, vote for the talent not the looks. Both of the Davids should be the final two and everyone knows it that actually watches every week.
sorry, but was thrilled when the Irish brogue went home last week - AMERICAN IDOL!!! her and her nasty tats....and not having to look at her hubby anymore - whew - and last night brooke - has been so smug and cocky that I am glad to wave tata. in my opinion - and that is the only one I have - the last five are there for the right reasons....I have loved David A from the beginning - and happy that he is still there. I believe in Simon's comments and sorry, again, but they really need to either have Paula get "real" or replace her - the only "real" thing I heard her say this season was to brooke - "you never stop and start over". Some contestants seemed to me to have been awfully "mouthy" this season - but then, again, they are all gone! Thanks for this forum.....
What the hell? Jason was the worst of the 5 and should've been gone before Brooke and what the hell happened to Carli? SHE should've been in the top 3 in my opinion making the top 3 Carli, David A. and the winner David C....HANDS DOWN! He's gonna be the next HUGE idol success story.

p.s. Michael got more votes than David Cook when they told him he got the least amount of votes. So if David Cook "happens" to win this thing, it will just verify the fact that Michael Johns very well could have been The American Idol.
