Marathon Woman

On Monday, my Talent Coordinator, Megan Cooper, showed off her marathon running abilities during the show. She uses the fascinating technique of putting one foot in front of the other really fast over and over again. She’s running the Country Music Marathon in Nashville in order to raise money for The Make A Wish Foundation. If you’d like to contribute in her name, follow these instructions:

Go to Make A Wish to send an E-mail Tribute Message.

Under the Customize Card section, in the "In honor of" field, enter: “The Ellen Show.”

Then enter your e-mail address in the "Recipient’s e-mail address" section.

Please see the picture below for an example.

You choose which area of Make A Wish for the Direct Donation choice.

It’s as easy as that!

next: Hello, Is Gladys There?

Gerrie,
how fast do you swim, are you crawling or do you prefer breast-swimming? I like both technics, but using the breast-swimming-style means loosing more calories and getting more muscles for holding the flag of the favourite soccer team in our stadium for 90 minutes - he, he, he

My friend Laurie Monk will be at your show Tuesday April 15th. She just finished the More Magazine 1/2 marathon in New York - a Canadian no less! You are her idol - and she just turned 50 years old. She came in 57th in her age category. Can you please meet her. She is an amazing person and this would be a once in a life time accomplishment if she got to meet you...thanks Ellen!

Ellen,
she should come to the Marathon in Berlin, it is famous and we are millions who are there for punishing the runners, especially at the 28th Kilometer (after 2/3 of the marathon)....Good vibrations and a great mood (each september, we had a world record last time!).
I am not a runner, I am a swimmer, but not very fast ( I go for 2000 meters each morning)

Greetings to Gerrie, I was abroad for the last weekend...

Megan,

Best of Luck to you in Nashville at the CMM on the 26th. I'm a native Nashvillian and a marathon runner as well. I've run it 3 times, i'll be out there volunteering as a lead cyclist on race day.

I hope to see you out there, run fast, run hard.

Louis
