Hi, I have to say first of all that I think you are hillarious, and that I love your show! It was so neat to see the Jonas Brothers on your show (I caught part of it on youtube)! I once went to a Jonas Brother concert, but it was only because my friend's Aunt had the money to pay for the tickets. Other than that, I had only dreamed about ever seeing them in concert! And I am so grateful that I did, but now I really want to do something for my friend. I would love to be able to get both her and I front row tickets, or backstage passes. I have been trying to enter contests... but sometimes it is hard to win them. I really want to be able to thank my friend by doing this for her, and at the same time, be right there beside her, enjoying it.

I'm not sure when this contest is over, but i thought i would give it my all because i adore the jonas brothers!

Everything began one morning when my sisters and I were watching the Disney Channel and a cool new music video caught our attention. We looked up the artists and they happened to be some unknown brothers trying to make it big. As I listened to the lyrics, I literally felt like those guys were singing through everything that was in my heart; they were sharing my feelings with the world. Immediately I felt a connection with these strangers that I had never felt with anyone before.
To tell you a little bit about myself, I grew up with music in the house constantly. Both my mom and my dad are music teachers and they reared me to keep music in my life and never let it go. Therefore, now, it is the direction I channel my thoughts and emotions. Sometimes I compose songs (on Mac), practice my instruments, or just listen to music when I have something on my mind. I started learning music theory, music history, music reading, and music composition in second grade. My parents made sure I became musically involved at a young age, because it creates individuality and is just plain fun. I am extremely thankful for their influence in my life, because it has made me who I am today.
My family is really close; we love doing things together. I have two sisters, Deanna and Shannon, and we are truly best friends by birth. No one makes me laugh harder or makes me feel better more than my sisters do. Even when we are at home just sitting in the living room, we love to be goofy or just break out in song. When making up songs, or singing familiar tunes, there is always room for a little harmony and/or embellishment. My mom and dad encourage our talent and random acts of music and we all have so much fun with it. I even wrote a song for my mother at Christmas time, and my sisters and I sang it as a trio. It made my mom cry and it was the best gift given that Christmas. Ever since I was little I have loved my family and now I really do appreciate all that we have. A family acts as one untouchable unit, and when all else fails, your family is always there for you. I wouldn’t give my family up for the world.
When I started hearing more about the Jonas Brothers I realized what a close family relationship they had as well. With all the divorces in the world and all the music artists going crazy, it was more than comforting to see brothers, like my sisters and me, with respect for their parents and a love for their family. I know that the Jonas Brothers are making a really great impression in the world. Being idols to kids across the nation, the brothers endorse a close family. They remind me so much of my family, and it makes me ecstatic to see a family like mine represented so well. Not only did their family impress me, but their strong religious background did too. For each of them to take a vow to stay pure until marriage, takes a strong belief in what is right. Part of the connection I felt with the Jonas Brothers was because of their values in life; for them, family and religion are the most important.
Nick, Joe, and Kevin are an incredible force as they follow their dreams. To know early on what their dream was, still amazes me. To be famous artists like the Jonas Brothers, it takes courage that I don’t even know if I have inside me. The scary part of becoming famous is that there is no turning back to how things were. Once you are known to the public, you will not be able to just walk on the street or go into a store without being attacked by fans wanting a picture. Another aspect of the Jonas Brothers that I admire is that they write all their own songs. So, what they are essentially doing is spilling their hearts out to the public hoping they will be accepted and looked up to. This move takes self confidence and an acceptance of oneself. People always say that you are the best version of yourself when you are being sincerely genuine. The Jonas Brothers are always themselves, which may be why they are so great at what they do. When I see interviews and concerts with Nick, Joe, and Kevin, I realize that these guys are teenagers, just like me. It is easier to be a fan of someone that you can relate to, and the more I see the Jonas Brothers, the more I want to hear their stories. It would be an awesome opportunity to converse with them about music.
I believe that everyone should have an appreciation of all types of music, but I also think that there is a certain type of music that people individually can relate to, sometimes so much that it speaks to you. I know that sounds a little crazy, but when I thought about it, the Jonas Brothers have the voices, the lyrics, and everything in between that I love. Ever since that day I saw them on Disney Channel for the first time, I felt like their music really spoke to me. I have been exposed to so many different types of music throughout my life, but the Jonas Brothers' music is my music, and I can relate to it more than anything else. Some fans adore the Jonas Brothers because they are cute, funny, and handsome (which is true), but for me, it is more than that. In addition to the courage behind their actions, it is about the passion behind their lyrics and their values that I can relate to. All I can say is that it would be incredible for me to get the opportunity to meet the Jonas Brothers. The Jonas Brothers are my idols and it is my dream to be face to face with the guys that keep me doing my best and put a smile on my face every morning. What can I say? The Jonas Brothers are definitely 100% my inspiration.

I may be sending this email a little too late, but I heard this weekend that you advertised on your show for girls to write in and tell you why they are obsessed with the Jonas Brothers and why they should win the contest to meet them in person. I want to tell you about my 13 year old daughter, Ariel.

Ariel discovered the Jonas brothers about a couple of year ago, even before they were so popular, and since then has become their biggest fan. She not only has their CD's, but also bought their songbook with her own money and is learning to play and sing their songs herself. Her room is plastered with Jonas Brothers posters. She reads all the trivia on the Jonas Brothers from teen magazines and can tell you everything about each of them. When she hears that the Jonas Brothers are going to be on a show, she is sure to watch it . . . in fact, the last time she saw them, she was kissing the TV screen! She sat through the Hannah Montana movie just to see the Jonas Brothers.

Her and her friends are trying to make enough money to buy tickets to go to Darien Lake in MI this summer and see the Jonas Brothers in concert. She wants to get a shirt made up that says "The Future Mrs. Jonas" to wear that day!

What can I say?! Ariel loves the Jonas Brothers and talks about them constantly. I think the thing that especilly draws her to them is that their family shares the same values as ours, and for Ariel, that gives her a real connection with them.

It would mean the world to Ariel if she was to meet the Jonas Brothers in person and I would be forever grateful to you for allowing me to help give her this opportunity. Ariel is a great girl. Everyone will tell you that! She has overcome some difficult things in the last few years and still continues to shine!! I think her friend already sent in an email to you when she heard about the contest becuase her instant thought was the same as mine . . . Ariel deserves to win this!

So if you haven't already chosen a winner, please consider my daughter, Ariel Wiseman. As her friend wrote, "It wouldn't just make Ariel's day . . . it would make her life!"
