TO BE HONEST I DONT HAVE ANYTHING AGAINST DAVID BECKHAM BUT I REALLY THINK YOU SHOULD HAVE LANDON DONOVAN ON YOUR SHOW SOMETIME.... AND WHEN YOU DO PLEASE OH PLEASE LET ME KNOW BEACUSE HE IS ONE ONE OF THE PEOPLE I HAVE ALWAYS LOOKED UP TO AND EVEN THOUGH HE IS ONLY A COUPLE OF YEARS OLDER THAN ME HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY ROLE MODEL. I DIDNT KNOW IT AT THE TIME BUT WHEN I WAS 11 YEARS OLD I WAS PLAYING FOR A CLUB TEAM CALLED CAL HEAT AT THE SAME TIME HE WAS PLAYING FOR THE GUYS CAL HEAT TEAM. I HAVE WANTED TO MEET HIM FOR THE LONGEST TIME. WHEN I WAS YOUNGER I WAS HAGING OUT AT MY FRIEND DARRELS HOUSE AND I WAS LOOKING AT A PICTURE OF HIM, HIS BROTHER AND ANOTHER KID, I ASKED WHO THAT WAS AND HE SAID OH THATS LANDON DONOVAN MY AUNT USED TO BABYSIT HIM HE PLAYS SOCCER TOO, 5 YEARS LATER HE BECAME A PRO SOCCER PLAYER.... SO YA PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU EVER HAVE HIM ON YOUR SHOW! IM EXCITED TO SEE BECKHAM ON THERE TOO I JUST FEEL BAD FOR HIM CUZ OF HIS KNEE AND STUFF I KNOW HOW HE FEELS!
I don't care what anyone says - David Beckham is a hero at our house. He is the man who had enough flash to make European football (Cdn. soccer) a well watched sport. Watch it - learn it - love it. Soccer is a very affordable sport and all kids are busy on the field. This sport helps fitness more than any other I can think of. I thank Beckham for making it cool to play soccer!!
On the other hand - how many American/Canadian Manchester United fans are only fans of Man U because Beckham used to be on the team?? Use your head people - Liverpool all the way.

I want to bring my three friends with me during the Ellen "Give Away" Christmastime week show. It is IMPOSSIBLE to ever try to get tickets. Being that it is April, and you are going on "Summer Break", can you see fit to allow we four women that adore the show to attend?????
You have heard from me before. When you had an Ellen show in NYC in November a year back...(1st time), I had a number of my life-long friends from Knoxville, Tennessee to meet me in NYC and go to the show. We did not get tickets. We lost airfare to be there in NYC for my 50th birthday to attend the show. I was so hurt~
Please, I have lived in Huntington Beach, California since 1981, My friends will fly to Orange County from Knoxville. Tennessee. Please, what a fun time they will have going to the "Ellen" show. Maybe they can bring Dolly with them. We have family connections, (who dosen't not know~~~~ in, Knoxville, Tennessee) Just mention to her, "Cas Walker", she will know my uncle at WBIR when she was starting out at age 12. Please, please respond to my request. It will be the upmost respect from my point of view. PLUS, my friends will love it.

He may be talented (I wouldn't know as I'm not interested in professional sports - way over publicized and way way too over paid), but he just doesn't strike me as hot. The most important aspects a man needs to be hot ,in my opinion, are intelligence, caring & kindness. After those aspects are found, then we can really appreciate the abs. But his body still isn't that great. Sorry.
I couldn't agree more with the comment below...to say that he is anorexic is absoultely ridiculous. He is healthy and fit. Considering most of the population is obese..i think more people need to look up to athletes.
Let's not bash people who care about their physical appearance.

David Beckham is an amazing athlete, he has worked his whole life getting in shape and taking care of himself. I know this page is not for arguments, however, in response to the comment below saying that it is wrong to have him on the show because he is a bad influence to the teenagers of America by being "anorexic", i couldnt disagree more. First of all, hes NOT a model, second of all, he should be a role model to all the obese kids in America. It is nice to see someone who takes care of themselves and works hard to achieve a healthy image and life style. Especially for soccer players, it is esential to be in shape, and kids can look up to him and aspire to be an athlete and take care of their health.
I think it is a very good idea to have him on the show, because i much rather see someone promoting physical activity then someone who is sedentary.
Ellen, i think this is the right person to have on your show.

He is such a great guy. Fantastic footballer and a clever and nice person. I'm from a country in Europe like he is and there as many know now he is a football- aswell as a fashionicon but he is biggest in england and I guees in spain. Not so much in Skandinavia...

Becks is a man who can look after himself, re the comment of Tracey Chatterton who thinks he's fragile. He has Posh to put up with calling him golden balls and that he wears her high heels and underwear! C'mon he's no shy boy.

Ellen I love my partner and my lifestyle, but please there are some things u can't say NO to and that's David Beckham!!!!!!!!!! U are so lucky to be meeting with him. Be gentle he's a shy one.

Isn't this guy's anorexic build the reason they're passing a law against skinny models being held up as the desirable condition? Doesn't this guy, and his skinny wife, both meet this law's criteria?
This guy is too skinny. I know he earns his living running around all day, but still, to hail him as some kind of model for others to emulate is just wrong.

I'm serious.
This is just feeding the poor body image problems of teenagers, and wanta-be teenagers. This is just horribly wrong.
Next we'll have someone smoking through a hole in their throat on and Ellen will do a monologue on how cool that is.

How or where can I get it?
This will make such a great gift for people that I have to buy presents for and I wouldn't mind having a pair for myself. We all love you Ellen.
