O MY GOSH!!! I luv u ....I mean ur show... and you!!!!!! Everyday I watch ..well I record it every morning then watch later after work....I absolutly luv it!!!! My name is Kayte, I am 23 yrs old, from Grand Rapids, MI...soo close to Chicago.... I have been trying to think of a unique way to get on your show or get a call from you... but nothing yet. I have a little dog ..a chihuaua named princess....i try and get funny pics of her whenever possible so I can send them in. I work at steak n shake...oooo I could bring a shake to you in Chicago and your staff and then maybe get a small peak at the show!! When I go to work every morning I am usually late b/c I start watching the show...its always so funny!! My friends and I always talk about what happened on Ellen!! I also think its cool to see your mama at the show!! Well anyways I luv the show...its the complete hightlight of my day...your kindness and generosity is such an inspiration to so many people especially me...luv the show!!

Hi Ellen, I watch your show almost every day and when ever I can I used to tape on DVR. we moved here in Indiana last July and we have comcast and for some reason we had the DVR on the system so when the cable box broke down and the cable rep. came they replace the box so the guy is making sure it works I said hold it let me make sure the DVR works and he said you don't have DVR on your contract so for almost one year we had it and nobody said any thing now we are busted and I can't record your show any more any way I'm very happy that you are comming to Chicago we are not that far if you like to visit we have planty of Amish and corn fields, Horses and all kind of animals I know you'll like them.

Hey Ellen!! My sister and I put in for 2 tickets to come see you on May 3rd..I hope we get them! We have put in before and have never gotten them. We put in for the Road Trip to Ellen AND to see you in Universal, and didn't get to come. So hopefully this is our time!! I have a few suggestions for you though when you do come. You without a doubt have to go see a Chicago Cub's game! You cannot come to Chicago and not go to Wrigley Field. It's such a great experience!! Also, you HAVE to eat at Ed Debevics!! It's a riot!! You would have a great time! They are a 60s diner themed restaraunt and the staff is purposfully rude and hilarious!! They dance on the counters and do karaoke! It's sooo fun! On top of that, they have great food. Also since I know you're an animal lover you have to hit up the Shedd Aquarium. It's amazing. The sharks are my favorite part! Well, hopefully we will be able to come see you live! I hope you take some of my suggestions and have a GREAT time here in the Windy City!! Hopefuly I will see you in May Ellen!!

My first thought is Ron Hawking. I think they refer to him as 'Chicago's Own' and 'Chicago's Entertainer'. I have seen his show a couple of times and it is great filled with tributes to Frank Sinatra and impersinations of Dean Martin, Willie Nelson, etc. He was even in our Thanksgiving Day parade. I also think you need to stop by Garret's popcorn. They have the most incredible carmel popcorn. People line up on Michigan Aveue just to buy it, but it is worth the wait. I put in for tickets a few days ago and hope I will see you live!

I tried to go to a taping back in October of 2006 and it was on my 21st birthday and i actually got tickets but what happened was i got really sick with the flu and was not able to make it...i am from the chicago area and would love to take you out to do some Karaoke on the saturday after may 3rd!!!!
